Yong Min quickly bowed and went to the dormitory to choose his room.

With him was the working student he got to talked to a while ago. She was the one who led Yong Min to the dormitory.

When they arrived, someone was already waiting there to guide him in the dormitory. This time it was a male student. As the dormitory of male and female were separated, it was only natural for a male student to guide him.

Before they got in, the female student bade her farewell but before she could turn around and leave, Yong Min asked for her name.

“Wang Jing, it means quiet.” Wang Jing said as she smiled. Wang Jing on the way here only talked when necessary, and even in the guidance office, she was quiet when Madam Ping and Yong Min joked around.

“Wang Jing, thank you!” Yong Min nodded his head as he said that.

"Then, see you again." Wang Jing blushed when she said this and left.

Watching Wang Jing's back, Yong Min could not help but smile. He won't forget any kind of kindness he got from people and if possible, he would return the kindness back in the future.

“HAHAHA!”

Beside him, the male student laughed.

“It seems your luck when it comes to girls is extraordinary brother. My name is Sheng Ning, it means victory and quiet.” Sheng Ning smiled and said.

“Brother Sheng, my name is Yong Min, and may I know what you mean by my luck is extraordinary?” Yong Min smiled and asked as he also introduced himself.

“Brother Yong, all the girls in this campus are hard to befriend as all of them have their own kind of preferences.” Sheng Ning said as he smiled. What he meant by preferences was naturally their choice to interact with wealthy people. Madam Ping already explained Yong Min's situation to him.

“Oh, I think I know what you mean brother Sheng! HAHAHAH! It seems my luck is really good!” Yong Min couldn't help and think of Li Juan, Li Juan actually came from a wealthy family but she still talked to him. He couldn't help and wonder why that is. He was wearing worn out clothes, but neither did Li Juan and Wang Jing avoided him. He felt his nose turn hot, so he scratched it and laughed.

“Anyways brother Yong, let's get you settled for now.” Sheng Ning said as he patted Yong Min's shoulder. He was really friendly to Yong Min.

They quickly went inside the dormitory; it was a four story building.

Yong Min chose a room in the 4th floor.

It was spacious at least five times the area of his shed. There was even a bathroom, a closet and things that compose a hotel room except there's no television.

Yong Min nodded as he saw his new room, he was satisfied.

“Anyway, where are your things? I'll help you pack up.” Sheng Ning said when he saw that Yong Min seemed satisfied.

“Thank you brother Sheng. It's in the mountain behind the market.” Yong Min said.

“In the mountain?” Sheng Ning asked. His eyes glimmered as he smiled.

“In the mountain!” Yong Min nodded.

Yong Min and Sheng Ning quickly went to the mountains behind the market. On their way, they talked about a lot of things, even how he searched for food here.

When they arrived Sheng Ning was amazed as he looked at the shed. It looked like it would fall down with a slightly stronger wind. He couldn't help but be amazed, it was completely different when he shaked it. It was sturdy.

Yong Min hurriedly picked up everything, things that he couldn’t hold; Sheng Ning got it for him.

They quickly went back to the dormitory to place the things inside. After that they went and attended class, the both of them was late.

During lunch, Yong Min lined up and bought a noodle from the cafeteria and accidentally met Li Juan there.

“So you’re going to eat noodles.” Li Juan said.

“This is the only thing I could buy with my money.” Yong Min said flatly, although he wanted to eat something more extravagant, his money won’t last long..

“Then stand up, I’ll treat you to some good food.” Li Juan said,

“No, thank you!” Yong Min decline the offer, he does not like the idea of a woman treating him. It should be the other way around.

“Don’t be such an idiot. Learn to adjust, you have no money now? So what? When the time comes, then treat me to dinner.” Li Juan said teasingly.

“If you say so, then okay” Since good food was coming to him, there was no need to decline a second time. Li Juan gave him money for the food.

Yong Min went to line up again and bought fried chicken. He even added extra rice.He gave the change to Li Juan.

“Is this it? Don’t you want to add more viand?” Li Juan asked, she wanted to treat Yong Min because he was the only guy she got to befriend here at school, but of course she didn’t tell Yong Min this. She liked Yong Min, as he was not boastful nor was he prideful, he was plain and intelligent. Yong Min’s look was slightly above average, with sharp eye brows, he looked dignified.

“No, this is sufficient enough.” Yong Min answered; he still felt his nose burning from having a girl treat him.

“Okay.” Li Juan said, she stood up and lined up in the cafeteria.

“I want that.” Li Juan pointed to some pork chop.

“That!” she pointed to some spaghetti.

“Please get me that one!” She pointed to some egg soup.

After that she went back to their table, servers were behind her.

“Ughhh! You have some big appetite.” Yong Min exclaimed from shock.

“You idiot, this is for you!” Li Juan said in embarrassment as she rolled her eyes.

“…” Yong Min was dumbstruck.

Yong Min was forced to eat those dishes. He and Li Juan talked for a while, before they went back to their own class.

After school when he was on his way to the dormitory, he accidentally ran with Li Juan again.

“Are you going to your room now?” Li Juan asked.

“Yes, I’m going to pick up something and go to the mountains to do something.” Yong Min said. He wanted to go and get his basin and hoe to search for wild vegetables again. He wanted to cook some and sell it to earn money.

“Mountains? You mean your old home? I went there and saw your little room.” Li Juan said, she went there to see for herself, how Yong Min was doing out there. That’s why she knew Yong Min was selling sweet potato in the market.She got curious of him the moment she met him.

“I see, so you knew. I’m going back there to look for something to sell again.” Yong Min said, he couldn’t really help it, he wanted to earn some money so that he could send some to his parents.

“Anyway, forget about going there today. How about you come with me? I am going to the mall to buy some things.” Li Juan said. She was going to go shopping.

“Shopping?” Yong Min’s eye shone brightly. Although he went to shopping before, that was buying food in the market. He knew that when Li Juan said shopping, it was to buy some extravagant things.

“Can I?” Yong Min asked. He really wanted to go.

“Of course! Let’s go, Uncle Wang is already waiting for me in front of the gate.” Li Juan said.

Yong Min nodded and went with Li Juan. As they exited the school, a limousine was already parked in front of the gate. Then when Li Juan and Yong Min got close, someone got out of the car and opened the door for them, it was Li Juan’s butler that Yong Min saw when he was selling the sweet potato.

“Uncle Wang!” Li Juan smiled.

“Young Miss.” Uncle Wang smiled, and looked at Yong Min.

“Uncle Wang, this is Yong Min. Yong Min this is Uncle Wang!” Li Juan introduced the both of them to each other.

Uncle Wang smiled and nodded his head to Yong Min.

After that they rode the limousine and went to a nearby mall.

“Wow!” Yong Min couldn’t help but exclaim. It was his first time going in a mall, as he lived on the mountain little did he go to place like this, as his priority was to farm and buy food in the market.

“It’s great right? How about you come with me every time I go shopping?” Li Juan said without thinking. She got so happy seeing Yong Min’s reaction. She would always come shopping but she was all alone, all her company was Uncle Wang. She wanted Yong Min to accompany her when she goes shopping.

“This…” Yong Min didn’t know what to say. He would love to come, but wouldn’t that be awkward, as they were only friends, nothing more, and more than that they were of the opposite sex.

“Don’t worry I’d buy you some things too!” Li Juan smiled cutely, she was so happy with this idea.

Yong Min didn’t answer yet, but his silent was misinterpreted by Li Juan as an agreement.

Li Juan quickly brought him to the clothes section, the perfume, and to the jewelry section. Li Juan introduced many items to Yong Min, but Yong Min only asked for a white shirt and a jeans, and if alright, a new uniform. It took Yong Min hundreds of courage to say this.

After that, they he went with Li Juan as she tried different dresses and asked Yong Min for opinion.

Yong Min basically said every time that she looked beautiful in anything she tried. Yong Min couldn’t help but develop some feelings for her. He quickly tried to focus his attention somewhere else, but every time she would appear with a new dress, he couldn’t help but look back and exclaim how beautiful she was.

Every time he says this, Li Juan would laugh and at the same time redden from blushing. She would rarely get any compliment from guys her age. The only ones that would compliment her were her parents and Uncle Wang. No man has ever befriended her, as she looked unreachable because of her beauty and background.

After they finished shopping, Uncle Wang drove Yong Min back to school. Yong Min got out of the car and expressed how grateful and thankful he was to Li Juan. Li Juan smiled, and bid farewell to Yong Min.

“See you tomorrow!” Li Juan said.

“Yeah, see you. Take care!” Yong Min smiled.

He quickly went to the dormitory after he saw the car left. He lied down the bed and recalled everything that happened today. He couldn't help but smile, Li Juan was beautiful and she was friendly to him.

As he was lying down, he noticed a strange symbol embedded on the roof, it was glowing.

Yong Min didn’t noticed but he was already looking at the symbol for an hour. He only looked away from the symbol when he heard a knock on his door.

“Brother Yong, are you still awake? It’s me Sheng Ning.” Sheng Ning said behind the door.

Yong Ming opened the door and Sheng Ning stood in front, bringing some books and notebooks for him.

“This is for you brother Yong. I asked the seniors who weren’t using their old books if they would like to give it to you, and this notebook is for you to use. I noticed earlier that you only have a single one.” Sheng Ning said.

“Thank you brother Sheng!” Yong Ming smiled when he heard this, he really needed this stuffs.

“No problem, you can just ask me anything you want as long as I could get it for you.” Sheng Ning said.

“Oh right, brother Sheng. What is that glowing symbol at the ceiling?” Yong Min asked.

“Glowing symbol?” Sheng Ning asked and frowned as he looked at the ceiling of Yong Min’s room.

“That symbol.” Yong Min pointed at it.

But this only made Sheng Ning frown even more.

“Brother Yong, please don’t play jokes on me.” Sheng Ning said, as he thought that he was played upon by Yong Min.

Hearing this, Yong Min became dumbfounded and startled. It seems he is the only one who could see it, and the more he looked at it, the more it glowed.
