Everyone is being so noisy, just because the holidays just ended and some of my classmates have not seen each other in a while doesn't mean that they have to get all joyous. If they truly missed each other, they could have visited, couldn't they?

" Avitus! Stop glaring at them.", said my friend of five months, Reinhold," You're creeping them out!".

" They're being a nuisance, shouldn't they stop talking instead?", I snapped back at Reinhold," In the first place, that's the entire reason for my 'creepy' glare.".

Reinhold facepalmed, headdesked and stared at me.

" You have a rotten personality.", he added," But don't worry, I know better than to mess with the guy who beat up a whole gang 'on accident'.".

Just as i was about rebut, my crush walked into the class. Naturally, like most guys helplessly in love would do, I stared at her for a couple seconds, before breaking off when she looked in my direction.

Her name is Lukatiel, she had long, brown hair reaching her shoulders, deep brown eyes which you can lose yourself in, also not forgetting her slender and curvaceous figure. She herself has any admirers, including myself. Especially Judah, he is he best friend and has a very close relationship with her, this, of course is the cause of a number of class disputes.

*BOOM*

Just as Lukatiel was about to get to her seat, a deafening explosion occurred, most of my classmates remained unharmed. Actually, all of them are unharmed. I look over towards Lukatiel just to calm my turbulent heart, thankfuly she was unharmed.

She was staring at something. Everyone is staring at something, the same thing. I look towards what they were staring at.

" FUCK!".

I immediately cursed, very audibly too. What i was looking at, is not something new to me. In fact, it is quite a common occurrence. Just not from this world. It was a crack, a crack in the air. It had ominous black fog seething from it.

" EVERYONE GET THE FUCK AWAY!", I screamed at the top of my lungs. My classmates have no idea what they're in for.

The crack suddenly stretched and grew larger, creatures that looked like zombies with cracks all over their skin that glowed a fiery red stepped out of the black fog.

I say they look like zombies, however they move about like a normal person, except that they are faster, stronger, more intelligent and do not crave for human body parts. These creatures are called ghouls, they seem to have magical affinity with fire. Ghouls are humans that made a deal with higher beings, lords, kings, grand magicians, but could not contain the powers that were gifted to them.

This causes the degradation of their souls. Ghouls have no choice but to consume the souls of others to restore their own. if not, they would degrade into empty vessels and eventually die.

Amongst the ghouls, is a armored individual, he looks like a knight(reference the knight armor from d*mon's s*uls but less grand and a larger size). He carried a black long sword and had flames spewing out from gaps in his armor and all along the blade of the long sword.. He is most probably the leader of the group.

"SHIT!".

Well this is all i had time to do as of now, will continue tmr, most probably.

And yes, the characters namee IS alzeid, just wait for the bombs to drop.

I just finished reading Transcendence, a web novel on this site, learnt abit i guess
