“So you invited me out here just to ask me about going to this party?” Cassie said biting the end of her straw.
Jessica nodded, “I know you and I know that I wouldn’t be able to do anything if I didn’t get you something, so now you can’t say no.” Jessica said with a smirk, Cassie sighed and just shook her head slightly, “But if we’re on the subject of what I want, let me explain.” She paused a bit and took out her phone, “Ever since I was a kid I’ve heard about this party, it's historical or something. It happens every four years and this is a party they said even happened when thr very first Prince fell in love with his wife. Plus it's like the event before the main one, so I’ve always wanted to go. Obviously I didn’t know anyone who worked in media and stuff so now that I do-”
“You know, Brayleigh is a person right?” Cassie interrupted.
“And you think he has enough influence to get me in there?”
“What makes you think he doesn’t?”
“Because they don’t just invite whoever. The ones who do that are those who get personally invited by the invite.”
“Okay, so even if this is a thing, what makes you think I’d be able to get you in?” Cassie asked.
“Because of that boss of yours.”
“Ankara?”
“Yes, that man would love to get inside of you, so if you ask him he’s sure to let you go.” Cassie felt her face grow hot at that idea.
“J-jess you have to understand I can’t flirt with him like this.”
“Because you might lose your job, bla bla, no one’s asking you to fuck the man. Just ask him sweetly and he’ll for sure give into you.”
“Why do you know so much about this?” Cassie huffed.
“When you’ve dealt with perverts your whole life you learn a few things.” Jessica explained.
“Ankara’s not a pervert though.” Cassie explained.
“But he is still a man, and at the end of the day if he likes you he’d be willing to do anything to make that happen.” Cassie just let out a dry chuckle.
“You have such a morbid view on men.”
“Thanks!” She said getting up.
“Wait, where are you going?” Cassie hurriedly got up and walked with Jessica.
“We’re going to where you work. I’m not letting you do this on your own, but we gotta get this invite fast.”
“What makes you think I even want to do this?”
“Not like that matters.” Cassie sighed and found herself in Jessica’s car heading back to her office.
…
Cassie stared in utter horror at the door of Ankara’s office, she couldn’t run however as Jessica just opened the door and walked inside.
“Jess!” Cassie whispered yelled.
Jessica let out a annoyed huff, “Whatever,” They both went inside and found Ankara staring at the laptop to his left, he looked up upon the door closing. At first he was frowning deeply, but his expression softened once he saw Cassie. Jessica turned her head to hide her face. “See?” Cassie sighed.
“Is there anything I can do for you Cassie?” Ankara asked removing his glasses.
“Uh…” Jessica suddenly spoke up. “You know she can get a little tongue tied, but she was curious about the Topaz Wings party.”
“Really? What about it?”
“Well, she wanted to know if she could possibly go? You know, for publicity and such.”

“Really?” Cassie nodded without thinking. “Well, I didn’t think you would have even cared to go.” Because I don’t! “But all my clients are welcome to go and invite whoever they want, of course with a two person restriction. So you can bring your friend along if you’d like.” Jessica smiled.
“Isn’t that wonderful Cassie?” Cassie looked to Jessica and seeing the expression on her face, Cassie just nodded. Ankara smiled at her as well.
“Oh, but if you’re going to go be sure you come and find me sometime during the night.” Jessica nodded.
“I’ll be sure she does. Thanks so much!”
“It’s no problem, but I have to get back to my work now.”
“Of course, sorry to bother you.” Jessica then began to push Cassie out of his office and back into the hallway.
Once they were in the common area Cassie stopped and turned to Jessica.
“You’re crazy!”
“It worked didn’t it?”
“Yeah, but I don’t want to go to this thing.” Cassie whined.
“I told you already; it doesn’t matter what you want. At the end of the day I got invited and you have to be there in order for me to stay.” Cassie just touched her head feeling a headache come on, “Anyways, do you even have anything good to wear?”
“Besides that red dress Koto picked out for me?”
“You’re horrible.” She said with a small laugh, “Okay, we’ll go shopping and I’ll get you something that’s sure to make Ankara drool over you.”
“I don’t want that!”
“Keep lying.” Jessica said as she began to walk off, Cassie groaned and began to dread every second until this party…
Jessica had done what she said, she forced Cassie out of her house the very next day and together with Quana they went shopping.
Quana had wormed her way into also being invited, so they just settled and decided Cassie would invite Jessica and Quana. Though, Jessica wanted to bring her own boyfriend.
“You heard what Ankara said, I can only invite two people.”
“Yeah, but you don’t pay attention to this thing like I do.” Obviously. “People like you can invite two people, but those who get invited by you can bring one other person. How else do you think they fill that place?”
“With the people who work in entertainment?”
Jessica scoffed, “Yeah right. You know how many hacks are rejected every year? Why do you think Ankara didn’t tell anyone about this?”
“Oh, so no one would do what you did?” Quana said.
“Exactly. Ankara’s not stupid, but if enough outrage surfaces he’ll have to let some total losers in. He wouldn’t want a stain on his business no matter how nice he seems.”
“I know that much…” Cassie said as she pulled a dress from the rack.
“Cassie, that's so cute! Didn’t you say you don’t like fashion?” Quana said.
“Yeah, but OCD doesn’t like ugly.” Quana giggled at that and fully pulled out the dress for Jessica to see.
“Jess, what about this for her?” Jessica turned to look and found herself smiling.
“You did say you liked the color orange.” Cassie sighed and knew they wouldn’t change their mind. I’ve paid for two dresses in a year… what’s even happening?
…
The days went on and now in only a few hours would the girls be finding themselves at one of the biggest parties of the year.
Everyone was over at Cassie’s place and while they got ready, Cassie was sitting in her dress in the living room. Quana and Jessica had been in the bathroom for over an hour now; Jessica’s boyfriend, Seko, came out and sat across from Cassie.

“Isn’t she done yet?” Cassie asked.
“Well she’s helping Quana with her hair. She doesn’t like anything so far.” He explained.
“Well if we wanna get there, they better hurry up.” Seko chuckled before going back to fixing his cufflinks.
“But you look really pretty though.” Seko said.
“Oh… thanks.” Though this dress is pressing my boobs together.
“How do you get your makeup done so quickly? Jess always takes like an hour just with skincare.” Cassie chuckled a bit.
“I don’t wear makeup.” Seko suddenly laughed.
“Jess told me that, but I didn’t believe her! No wonder your skin looks so good.”
“You guys are crazy, I have so many zits.”
“Yeah, right.” She looked to him when finally Jessica came out of the bathroom and let out a small huff.
“Aw, Cassie looks so much like a girl now, but how’d you get your hair so nice?”
“I just put it up right now really.” She stated.
“We’re going to something no one gets to go to and you’re just putting your hair up right now?” Cassie nods to her statement, “Like I always say, I wish I had your problems.” Jessica sat down and began to put on her shoes. Just then Quana came out looking like a highschooler going to prom with all the pink Cassie had ever seen in her life.
“Okay, I’m good with this. Let’s go!” Quana skipped out of the house, Cassie got up.
“We’ll be in the car, just lock the door when you leave.” They both nodded and Cassie left feeling the slightly cooling afternoon air on her face. Here goes nothing.
...
O
nce they got there, Quana was amazed at everything and made sure that everyone around them knew that.
She went from table to table talking about what she wanted to eat meanwhile Jessica and Seko were busy talking about everyone they saw. Cassie just sighed and decided to get a table for them to sit at. Luckily, she found an empty one and after a few minutes everyone came to her table.
“So is this everything you’ve wanted huh Jess?” Seko asked.
“Of course. Getting to know that a few of these people are completely pushovers is the insider knowledge I’ve always wanted to know.” Why not just become a TV star then?
“The food here is amazing!” Quana said, Cassie looked over what she had brought and took a small cookie from Quana's plate.
“Woah, she’s right.” Cassie said. Jessica and Seko both reached over to eat a few things and before they knew it Quana began to complain.
“Get your own stuff! That’s what it’s there for.” Cassie chuckled, they all got up and went to get something to eat.
Cassie honestly wasn’t interested in eating anything dinner related, she was going to fill up on sweets and hope that it would give her enough of a high to get through the night. Cassie went to the table filled with diabetes and got a plate.
“Looks like I finally got some good luck my way.” Cassie felt like just running away when she heard that voice, but she turned and found Chris standing there with a platter in his hands. “Now, what are you doing here?” Cassie’s mouth was opened for a bit, but she shook her head and eventually spoke.
“Oh, my friend wanted to go so…”
“Really? I’ll have to thank her later." He said with a chuckle. "For now though, I have to say you look beautiful in that dress.” Oh fuck off!
“T-thank you.” She said. He chuckled.
“Even now you’re nervous? Come on, you must be the highlight of this party now.”
“I don’t think so. I really don’t want any attention.” She admitted.
“Then you shouldn’t have worn that dress.” I hate you so much. “But I can’t talk for long. I’m serving on the floor, but if you ever get lonely just call for me.” She gave him a smile and once he began to walk off Cassie agonized and got as many sweets as she could. Okay, that’s understandable he’d be here. I really didn’t think to check what hotel we were going to, but that should be it.
Just as she said that, she found a small group of people blocking her way, she tried to find a way around them without dropping her sweets when someone nearly made her do just that. I fucking hate it when people step back like that. What, are you gonna go somewhere all of a sudden?
“Sorry-” She began to apologize, but was cut off by that person talking.
“No fucking way.” She looked up and found the profane person she had come to hate, Akuma. “Cassie in a dress? That’s rich.”
“Akuma… why are you here?”
“Because I’m Akuma. That name comes with a lot of territory, you could be a part of that territory.” He said with a wink.
“I’m not an object.” She stated.
“I know, but it’s fun to tease you.” He said that while reaching out to move a stray hair back behind her ear. “You must be here because of Ankara right?”
“I do work for him.”
“I’m shocked I didn’t see your name on the invite list then. If I did I would have dressed a little better.” You’re not already? Looking like a Men’s Warehouse ad.
“He told us we could come if we wanted.” She explained.
“Must have been recent. Either way I’m happy, you brought something good out of this annoying as hell party.” I’m sure it would be less annoying if you weren’t here.
“Still, I’m here with friends so I should get back to them.” She said trying to get past him.
“Maybe, maybe not though. I’m finally interested in staying here.” He said that while reaching for her plate.
“Hey!” He chuckled.
“Nothing but sweets? You’re so predictable.” He held the plate behind him preventing Cassie from getting to it.
“Please, can you not act like a child right now?”
“Why? You got somewhere to be?”
“I told you I’m with friends!”
“Probably, but who’s more important; me or some assholes who likely used you to get in here?” I knew what she was doing. “See? You can’t even answer.”
“Cassie.” She turned to see Jessica and Seko walking towards her.
“Oh, who’s this guy? A boyfriend?” Cassie glared at Seko.
“No, idiot, that’s the son of the Flueric family. Pretty high profile if you ask me.” Akuma looked to Jessica.
“So you’re her friends?” His voice came out slightly disrespectful.
“Yeah, and we’d like her back now.” Jessica said. Akuma shrugged and handed the plate back to Cassie.
“I’ll be waiting for you to come back to me.” Cassie remained staring forward, but quickly went to Jessica and Seko’s side. Akuma chuckled and returned to the group he was around. Cassie began to walk away from him.
“You weren’t kidding when you said you knew that guy.” Seko said.
“Why would I joke about knowing the biggest asshole ever?” They both just chuckled and returned to their table.
After a while of nothing happening, Jessica and Seko went up to dance as a song they liked began to play. Quana got ancy and said she’d just go and dance as well. Cassie was fine being by herself and took her phone out the minute she was alone.
I could be at home writing, but instead I’m starving at some party. She sighed and opened up a document, it had only fully loaded when someone sat at her table. She looked up and nearly dropped her phone.
“Wow, Mr. Wry said you’d be here but…” Koto let out an awkward chuckle as he looked the other way and scratched behind his head. “A-anyways, you look really pretty.” She had to smile and thank him. “Oh, but if you’re here that must mean you’re bored too.”
“Of this party, yes.”
“Yeah! I got here thinking this was going to be the best thing ever, but instead I’m sitting here thinking about leaving.” She giggled.
“Maybe we should just leave.” Cassie offered.
“Right?” He paused, “But if we do people will see us and think we’re stuck up or something, but if you’re here things might get better.”
“How so?”
“Well we can actually talk about stuff and it won’t just be the two of us either.” Koto said.
“What do you mean?” As she said that, two others joined the table and she saw Brayleigh and Akihiko. She was staring at Brayleigh the longest as his hair was styled much differently than he normally does it. Damn he looks so-
“Looks like Koto wasn’t lying.”
“I told you I wasn’t!” Koto said to Brayleigh.
“What?” Cassie said.
“Oh, Koto said that he saw you and we didn’t believe it. Not only is this a party, but with it being this boring already I figured if you were here you would have left by now.” Why is it that everyone I know hates this damn thing.
“Well I would leave but-”
“Jess is here right?” Brayleigh finished.
“How’d you know?” She asked Brayleigh.
“Because she was the person who told him about it.” Akihiko chimed in.
“Yeah, then he begged me to get him in here.” Koto added.
“Koto!” Koto avoided Brayleigh’s hand and continued to laugh.
“Well then he invited me.” Akihiko explained. Things are always like this. Can’t you guys just go alone or bring other people you know?
“Do you think it’d be bad if we left?” Koto asked them.
“Even if we did, where would we go?” Brayleigh asked. This IS a hotel. I don’t know about you all, but the only thing that would make my night is getting to have a four-
“I don’t know, but unless Cassie wants to leave, I’m fine with staying.” Akihiko said, smiling at her. She returned it, When did he start wearing glasses?
“I know this’ll sound stupid, but have you always had glasses?” Cassie asked Akihiko.
“No,” He said with a sigh, Brayleigh finished for him.
“I styled him. Doesn’t he look like an anime character?” You all do to be honest.
“Please stop saying that.” Akihiko said, as he let out a sigh.
“Well, I think you look good.” Cassie said.
“Y-you do?” Cassie nods. “Well… thanks.” Akihiko mumbled under his breath.
“Come on don’t be shy! She complimented you!” Brayleigh said, throwing his arm around Akihiko’s shoulders.
“You guys are so annoying. Cassie was way more interesting than this.” Koto said.
“Really? Then what were you two talking about?” Koto shot up with a smirk.
“I’m not gonna tell you. That’s between me and her.” Koto moved his chair closer to Cassie’s and nuzzled against her arm. “Isn’t that right?” Cassie just nodded softly to him.
“Well I did forget to mention that Cassie does look amazing.” Brayleigh said that while reaching over, his hand grazed hers and she flinched a bit causing him to chuckle. Akihiko frowned a bit and moved closer to her on the other side.
“Maybe we should leave together.” Okay, full panic mode!
“N-no, I can’t leave Jess and Quana!” Akihiko made a disgruntled face, “Really it’s for that.”
“You do look really beautiful though.” Akihiko said with a soft smile.
“T-thank you.” Was all she could get out. He smiled at her, then Brayleigh got up disturbing the moment.
“That’s too close for comfort.” He pulled Akihiko then went for Koto taking them both from the table. “We’ll be seeing you Cassie!” She nodded, but couldn’t say much else as their protests for Brayleigh to let them go were louder.
“Yeah, I’ll see you…” Cassie let out a small sigh and tried to relax after that.
...
T
ime went by and Jessica, Seko and Quana still haden’t returned. Cassie wondered what time it was, she checked her phone. It’s only ten! They had left around seven and Cassie hated that so much had happened only in the span of a few hours.
The dancing was still going on and Cassie began to get a headache, she needed it to be quiet for a bit. So she got up and left into the hallway, she could still hear the noise of the music, but it was much softer as she stood there trying to relieve her headache.
“Miss, is something wrong?”
“No, I’m fine-” Cassie stopped and bit her lip. Shugi chuckled at her and walked closer.
“You certainly are.” If I could kill you I would! “Sorry, I just had to compliment you in some way. You’re really beautiful, even more so than usual.” I hate these people!
“I really should be getting back inside.” She went to move, but Shugi blocked her, knocking her bag from her shoulder. He grabbed it before it fell to the floor. Cassie sighed.
“Look, if you came out here for some reason you should do it. I shouldn’t be the problem in this case.” She stared at him, “Besides sooner or later I’ll have to get back to my post.”
“Oh, you’re working here?” Cassie asked.
“I’d have no other reason to be at something as fancy as this party. We always get asked to provide extra security at this so I’m used to it now.” He said that and hadn’t moved at all away from her. Cassie was hoping he’d move or step back, anything to make some distance between them both.
“Well, the music was just too loud for me to handle.” Cassie admitted shrinking more into the wall.
“Then I hope I can help in soothing you.” She gave him a small smile, “By the way, I don’t know how you got here, but for sure you shouldn’t be heading home with anyone here. I know you don’t drink, but you’re too nice sometimes and I know you wouldn’t say no if someone offered you a ride home.” Actually, yes the hell I would. Why do you think I turn you down so often? “Just be sure you get home alright?” She nods to him.
“Yes officer.” She said with a smile, Shugi chuckled before turning back down the hallway. Cassie covered her mouth and let out a small noise. Who let’s cops dress like that? That overcoat turned me on way too much. I’m weird, but I need him in that coat near me more often. Cassie stayed out there longer than she had expected to, but after a good ten minutes she was finally able to return.
When she did, she instead went up the stairs to the floor above. The room the party was being held in had a strange balcony that no one was at so Cassie went there to see something.
No way I’m gonna get caught off guard by any of them again. Her eyes scanned the floor and while she made out a few of them she honestly didn’t see anyone else. So either she was blind or they really weren’t here. Cassie let out a small sigh and relaxed a bit.
“I didn’t expect you to actually show up.” Cassie nearly fell off the railing when she heard Ankara’s voice. The hell! “Sorry, did I scare you?” No, I’m just trying to jump to save myself…. Well-
“No, I just didn’t expect anyone else to be up here.”
“Me either, these people are a lot more… hectic than normal.” Welcome to my life. “But, you look beautiful.” I don’t know if I’m tired of hearing that or not. “You always dress so well to events like these and every time you strike me as more beautiful than the last.” Oh stop, you’ll make me blush.
“I really didn’t think it looked that good, but I’ve been told otherwise so much tonight to think that anymore.”
“Right, those other boys you’re with.” Ankara looked out to the dance floor, The way he says that scares me. “Even if they are right, I wish they wouldn’t cause you so much hassle.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, you seem to try and avoid them at all costs. So they must be bothering you to some degree.” Not really, I just can’t handle myself in front of people who look like they were crafted by the Gods themselves.
“No, we’re all good friends. I’m just little ol’ me and sometimes I can’t take being around so many people.” Ankara chuckled.
“You say that yet you’re at one of the biggest events of the year.” Standing where no one is.
“What can I say, I’ve come out of my shell?”
“You certainly have.” His smile faded and Ankara went silent for a bit, the lights also went dim. They turned a soft blue and purple making the top of the stairs even darker. They then heard some slow music begin to play. Cassie did like this song and began to hum it to herself.
“Cassie?” She looked at him, “Since you seem to like this song, how about you humor me in allowing me to dance with you.” Huh? Cassie said nothing for a long time, Ankara then chuckled and reached for her hand.
“Ah, but I-I don’t know how to d-dance!”
“Then allow me to teach you.” He brought their hands together, his own hand reached around her back and brought her close to him, as they could possibly be. Cassie looked up and saw his smiling face much too close to her. She looked down and focused on a button of his shirt. She heard Ankara chuckle. “There’s no need to be nervous Cassie.” Yeah, thanks for reminding me of that lie.
“B-but I told you I can’t dance.” She restated.
“That’s really not what this is about.” He said as he began to move them, “Just let me move us and I’ll speak.” About what? “I know I always say things between us are professional, and while they should remain that way, I have to admit that it’s becoming hard to keep it that way.” No… you can’t be doing this!
“R-right?” He moved them back and forth slowly, Cassie felt his head drop on the top of her head. “We’re like close friends who can count on each other.” She tried to say.
“It’s more than that Cassie and I believe you know what I’m talking about.” Yeah, but I don’t want to be right!
“I do, you must care for me more than your other clients. I get that, I always bring this little sister feeling to everyone I-”
“It’s not that Cassie.” He stopped and pulled them apart, he held Cassie’s hand. He leaned down while pulling her close to his face. “Cassie I-” Their lips were inches apart and Cassie felt like she couldn’t move. Really she couldn’t, her wedges didn’t help.
“Now don’t you think that's inappropriate boss?” Ankara let out an irritable groan, he moved to stand normally, but remained holding Cassie’s hand. She tried to pull away to no avail.
“Hayate… I thought you didn’t come to events like this?”
“Well I had to, after I heard Cassie would be here.” How? “And besides being stunning as always, I felt like someone would try something here. Looks like I was right.”
“You’re assuming I’m doing something bad?”
“Not necessarily. Especially because Cassie is a nice enough person not just to reject you. So I have to protect her.” Hayate stated.
“You’re not protecting her, that’s smothering.” Ankara corrected.
“Better than forcing.” Cassie had never heard Ankara and Hayate even disagree on their favorite colors, so this was something that somewhat frightened Cassie. Mainly because she was in the middle of it and felt like something would fall on her if she didn’t leave. She again tried to break from Ankara’s hand and thankfully the sweat on her palm allowed her to break from him.
“I’m sorry, my friends are probably worried about me!” She ran off as quickly as her high heeled feet would take her and thankfully Ankara hadn’t thought about following her as she was back at her table alone in no time.
“There you are!” Jessica said.
“Where were you?” Quana asked.
“Dying.” They looked at each other. “Don’t ask, if you want to know I’ll tell you after I’ve calmed down.” They shrugged and figured Cassie would tell them eventually and went back to talking normally…
Cassie was finally able to calm down and explain to them what happened.
“No way, so did he kiss you?”
“I told you he was really close, but Hayate showed up.”
“Man, all sorts of shit is happening to you.” Jessica said. It wouldn’t be if I wasn’t here.
“But, isn’t that a good thing? I mean you think he’s cute so why not just go out with him?” Quana asked.
“I was going to ask that too. You think all these guys are good looking so why not just go out with one of them?” Sekon added.
“That’s the problem.” Jessica began, “We talked about this too and she says it’s because she doesn’t want to hurt any of their feelings and because they’re all cute and she’s the most indecisive person in the world so how can she pick someone?” You’re not wrong. Cassie said nothing and only confirmed that answer for Quana and Seko.
“Well, then good luck!” Quana said touching her shoulder, Cassie gave her a small smile before the lights suddenly went out.
They all looked around until the stage lights came on and someone walked out. A roar of claps came out for whoever this was and he began talking.
“This event has certainly been something this year, our biggest turn out!” Everyone cheered, “But it’ll be ending soon,” Everyone let out sounds of disapproval, “Now just wait, it will be ending, but before it does, our final guest will perform their hit debut song!”
“No way!” Quana stood up, “We have to go up there!”
“It is the last thing we might do here.” Jessica got up as did Seko. Quana groaned and grabbed Cassie’s arm pulling her to stand up.
“Wait a second!” Quana ignored that and kept pulling Cassie and got to the front of the floor where there was a barricade blocking them from the stage. “You know these guys Quana!”
“That doesn’t mean I don’t wanna hear their music. Besides, they’re still celebrities.” Cassie sighed a bit and the sound of loud cheering overcame everything and soon Cassie saw Terumichi and Amai. The rest of the group was there as well, but her eyes focused on them.
Cassie did like their music, but couldn’t even focus on it as the stress of being seen was more on her mind; her thoughts seemed to go outward as Terumichi looked to the audience and his once serious expression turned into a big smile. She returned it, but felt like if she kept looking at him she’d die.
While their dance was going on, Amai was told she was there by Terumichi and he looked at her as well not making anything any better.
“These guys really like you Cassie.” Jessica said. Cassie just glared at her as she returned to Seko’s side.
“Cassie?” She looked to Quana, “Do you think the choreography is different?” She nods, “I wonder why?” The dance had been different from what Cassie and Quana were used to. Terumichi and Amai were doing their best every time they got to where Cassie was, they were going out of position and sooner or later this turned into a near fist fight as the two males began to argue about something on stage. Cassie hoped it wasn’t her and soon the song ended and they were thanking the audience.
After a little bit, everyone was told it was time to leave and without hesitation Cassie was one of the first to go out. As she was waiting for everyone else she realized her phone wasn’t with her.
“What?” She dug all around her bag and realized it wasn’t with her. She thought back and nearly broke the window in the car. “Either Brayleigh or Shugi has it…” She groaned and got out of the car before hurriedly going back into the hotel lobby. There she saw Jessica, Seko and Quana all laughing at something. Once Jessica saw her she spoke.
“Hey, we’re going back right now!”
“My phone is in there!” Cassie blew past them and couldn’t hear anything they had said as she went back to the near empty hall. She didn’t know who to go to, but she figured Shugi had to still be there.
“Cassie!” She spun around and saw Terumichi running for her. Amai was close behind and they got to her at the same time.
“We need you to tell us who was better.” Amai said.
“Unlike him I can sing and dance.” Terumichi remarked.
“At least I don’t mess up at the beginning of the song!” They had turned to each other and looked as if they would start throwing punches any second.
“G-guys calm down!” Her voice was drowned out by their talking.
“Come on guys, you know Cassie doesn’t like arguments.” Koto said, approaching them.
“Shut up!” Koto frowned and turned to Cassie.
“I’ll get you out.” He moved to walk with her when Terumichi and Amai ran to her front, stopping her. “You guys need to get your priorities straight.”
“You’re not leaving with her.” Amai said.
“Better that then have you two fight and make her upset!” Terumichi and Amai both sighed before looking off to calm down.
“You’re always running off to be alone with Cassie.” Brayleigh said.
“Like you wouldn’t?” Akihiko said.
“Yeah, but at least I’m honest with it.” Brayleigh said that while winking at Cassie, she looked off and saw Shugi approaching them. Then she remembered.
“Yeah, Brayleigh do you have my phone?” He shook his head, she sighed and went over to Shugi.
“I see you didn’t listen to me.” I shouldn't even still be in here!
“Do you have my phone? He dug around in his pocket before holding her phone up to him, she went to get it, but of course he held it behind him to prevent that.
“Anyone could do this to you Cassie. You really should be more aware of stuff like this.” She sighed.
“I will, now give me my phone back!” Shugi chuckled and brought it forward. Cassie took it and turned to leave. I’m so tired of this! As she was going out to the exit she saw Ankara and Hayate there. She stumbled a bit and fell backward only to be saved by Shugi.
“You say that yet still need my help.” She pushed herself up.
“Thank you, but I should really be going!” However, Ankara and Hayate had blocked her and everyone else crowded her.
“As usual you all are bothering her again.” Ankara said.
“Like she’d be less bothered with you?” Ankara glared at Hayate.
“Look, just let me take her back, I’m sure Jess is waiting for her.” Brayleigh said.
“And you tell me I’m always trying to be alone with her.” Koto said.
“You both are like this.” Akihiko chimed in.
“Cassie, you still have to settle this. I’m better right?” Terumichi said, getting closer.
“Stop trying to influence her dipshit!” Terumichi turned back to Amai.
“You all really should leave. No one can clean up because of you all.” Chris, who had walked over, said. They were all talking about various things and Cassie’s own voice was being drowned out.
“Really I should just have you all kicked out.” Shugi looked to Akuma who had walked to join the group as well. Shugi looked back to him.
“Go ahead, tell security that, oh wait you just did.” Shugi said.
“I doubt if you’re important, probably just some two-bit hack who got in to bring the numbers up.” Shugi just chuckled and approached Akuma making it one big group of guys who were all pissed at each other for one reason or another. All I wanted was my phone! Cassie was mushed in the middle of all this and knew she wouldn’t be able to get out without help.
Where’s Jess when you need her!

A Beginner's Guide to Napping, Sunbathing, and Slaughtering Your Prey
Fang is a simple cat. Fang likes napping in the sun. Fang does not like being called Chairman Meow. Fang likes his belly being scratched for precisely 17.329 seconds. Fang does not like being punted between dimensions. Fang likes hunting and killing defenseless wildlife. Fang does not like mysterious blue boxes that appear out of thin air. Fang is having a Very Bad Day. A few things to note: Fang is a cat soul in a cat body, and that's not going to change any time soon. No cat girl evolution or possessed puppet or any of that. The slice of life tag is there for a reason. There is no epic tale here, only a cat doing cat things in a (hopefully) interesting setting. The game elements are pretty light, mostly there for flavor, so don't expect a huge amount of crunch. Nature is cruel, and cats are crueler than most.

Especially when you're alive to remember it, and only it.And that's the only thing that keeps me going. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Yo, welcome to my first attempt at making a story. Feedback would be very highly appreciated, so feel free to leave criticism where you see fit. Also posted on ScribbleHub!

This is just the weird & random shit it my mind, for when I can remember them and when I have time to put those thoughts & feelings into words, IF I can even do that. Writing is one of the things that I couldn't live without, and it's weird because it's something that bloomed from some things that I now hate. Anygays, enjoy the show.
