Cassie rested her head to the side as she ran from area to area on the overworld map, she checked the mini map and wondered if she was even in the right area anymore.
“This bitch is never gonna appear.” She sighed and figured she only had about an hour until Amai was supposed to show up and she really wanted this drop.
Amai was only showing up because he had seen her playing on her Switch one day and saw she had Smash Brothers. So naturally he wanted to see how good she was, as he put it. Or you just want some free wins, asshole.
She resetted the area and when she came back she saw something in the distance. She sat up and leaned forward to see better. “Shit, that’s it!” Cassie focused now and went over and stopped before saving her game. She took a small breath and approached it going into battle.
About twenty minutes went by of her stressing this battle when she heard her phone ringing. She knew it was Amai and paused the game quickly before hanging up the call, she answered the door and let Amai inside without saying another word.
Cassie quickly went back to the battle and Amai came in and saw what she was doing. He stayed quiet for a long time until Cassie let out a groan from dying. She sighed and loaded her safe file, there she set the controller down and looked to Amai.
“Did I catch you at a bad time?” He said.
Cassie touched her forehead, “I just found something I’ve been looking forever for.” Cassie explained.
“I’m surprised you’re doing this much. Did you complete the game already?” No, I’m just running around at level eighty-six in the beginning of the game.
“Yeah a while back.” He chuckled.
“Well you know that thing’s a super boss right?”
“Yeah.” She said.
Amai scoffed slightly, “You’re not even up to level to beat it!” She shrugged.
“I managed to complete the game at level sixty-six so I think I can manage this thing.”
“You were so underleveled, you must have used items or something.”
“Are you saying you can’t beat the final boss until you’re a higher level?” She asked.

“Yeah, that's when you can get access to one of the best items in the game which makes defeating the final boss a breeze, otherwise you'll have to keep using healing items.” She scoffed, Cassie went on the menu and showed Amai the item he was talking about.
“This has been in my inventory since before I fought the final boss… plus it seemed useless so I didn't use it.” She laughed a bit, "Then I found out it's one of the strongest items in the game." Amai just chuckled at her, "Look, I didn't get this recently." She defended.
“Well I don’t know that.” She made a face.
“Okay fine then, before you help me I’ll show you it’s possible to beat him at sixty.” She went and loaded another save and showed Amai her stats. He confirmed it and she went into the battle.
…
To much of Amai’s surprise, Cassie had managed to beat the final boss pretty easily at her level. Once the final cutscene was playing, they let it run while they talked.
“Okay, you proved yourself, but then why do you need help in Smash Brothers?” Because this fucking game is rigged in the World of Light unless you’re playing as a broken character or have overpowered spirits or something.
“Because I’m trying to beat the World of Light boss on the highest difficulty, I’m thinking it’s like Brawl where if you complete the game on hard you get intense difficulty.” Amai shrugged to her.
“You liked Subspace?” Hell yes I did!
“Yeah, but this is kind of okay.” Amai laughed and picked up the other controller she had.
“Alright, well what do you need me to do.”
“Just fight the thing.”
“That’s all?”
“Yeah, I just can’t watch and fight at the same time. There’s too much going on.” He nodded and picked the menu and jumped into the battle.
…
A few hours went by and not even Amai was able to beat the boss, but Cassie said nothing the entire time he was playing. After a few more attempts he decided to see if Cassie was good enough to try on her own.
“Yeah, I think I know what to do now. It might still take a while, but it’s worth a try!” Cassie picked up the controller and picked her characters; Dark Pit, Roy and Wii Fit Trainer. Cassie quickly went through the climbing portion and managed not to die, once there she stood there for a while until she suddenly attacked Dracula.

“You’re going with him first?” Amai asked.
“Yeah, he’s the toughest one for me.” Amai said nothing and watched as Cassie was only able to barely escape dying to him, Dark Pit had a lot of damage, but Cassie then went for Galleom.
She managed his health down to half before she lost. She huffed but came back with Roy and spammed counters as much as she could until it lost.
Once she was back out, she ignored the heart container and went after Marx and after a slew of curses and an accumulated forty damage he was gone. She ignored the heart container again and went after Ganon. She had Roy’s counters to thank for not losing and once there she took the Heart Container.
She took a small breath and just stood there for a bit, then she went after the last two. She went after Rathalos first, though she had gotten unlucky and lost Roy. Cassie let out an angered sigh, but came back with the Wii Fit Trainer and managed to defeat the dragon. Now was just the last person, she took the heart container and went after Giga Bowser.
This was where Amai noticed she was being the most tense, she made no mistakes, or tried to minimize them as much as possible, until finally she just went off the stage and kept hitting him with soccer balls. He lost and Cassie sighed letting out an annoyed sigh.
“What are you sighing for?” Amai said.
“Because this messed up my plan.” She stated.
“Well then care to explain what your plan was?” She paused the game.
“Okay, after seeing you go through this I realized the easiest way to beat all the bosses beforehand. The order I picked my characters in was to maximize the amount of wins I could get before I lost all my chances of winning. Dark Pit can take Dracula pretty easy, of course I just have no way of defending half the time but it’s fine because Dark Pit is supposed to lose there. So then Roy takes on pretty much all of them and I hope that he survives when I have to fight Giga Bowser since he’s annoying, but because I lost him early I had to risk a little bit of this. If my plan had worked, I would have had Roy for a while in the beginning of the third phase. When he loses, Dark Pit and the Wii Fit trainer can hopefully handle the rest… maybe not those stupid ray blasts but I think I know a way around them after watching you.” Amai stared at her in a bit of disbelief. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Because I didn’t think you were even thinking about stuff like that!” She wanted to roll her eyes but held the urge back. You must really think I don’t know how to play video games. So I’ll only say this once, bitches can play too.
“Amai, I’ll tell you that I have most of the spirits in this game and even with Subspace I defeated Tabu on intense difficulty on my own… not that it means anything.” He chuckled.
“I really just didn’t think you played games like this. You just do so much other stuff so…” Well, you thought wrong bitch.
“Well my whole life has been around games, and I’m always open to winning. Well, besides Mario Party, I’m okay losing there.” He chuckled.
“Isn’t that supposed to be the game that tears families apart?”
“Yeah and it did do that to mine for a bit, but after I got tired of losing, I realized how greedy I am. As long as I get the coin star bonus I technically win.” He laughed at her.
“Remind me to play a game board with you one day.” She smiled, “But I’ll stay up for as long as you want and come back whenever we want until you win!” She smiled at him, “But you gotta show me how you beat Ganon so easily.” She chuckled to him and nodded as she resumed playing.

God Blade (Hiatus)
Theo, a prodigy of sword and an aspiring adventurer, lives in an RPG-like world where everyone has their own level and skill. However, his is a hardcore RPG world where more than half of its human never gets higher than level one. So who is Theo you ask? Was he a ninja trying to be a leader in his hidden village? Was he trying to be a pirate king? Maybe a teenager summoned from another world? A chosen one of the god? A man whose girlfriend is secretly the demon queen? A cook in a journey to make the greatest dish? Or maybe the reincarnation of an ancient Dark Lord? Well, No. Theo is a man born in that world. An NPC you might say. Not only that, he wasn't even the true hero or the main protagonist of his own world. But he does have to meet all those people during his journey to accomplish his dream. ----- 1 chapter every 2 or 3 days. I don't claim the MC of my story to be not cliched. With so many stories on the internet right now, It's almost impossible if not outright impossible to make an original MC. The best I can do is pick the kind of cliched MC I like the most and give it a twist of my own. English is not my first language, so there will be some mistakes in every chapter. Please notify me in the comment if you found one (Or some). I'm still an inexperienced writer, so feedbacks and reviews are very much appreciated.

Five Lines PitchJoin Mark in his fight against a God and change the game's destiny! Delve into a slow-paced story focused on the progression of the main party and the development of the world. Mark himself will be narrating his life inside the game, and to a much lesser extend outside. Guild building, economy, and strategy are the central pieces of the novel. Mark is not overpowered, he will have to build his own power through action-packed battles, trials, traumas, love, and death. Accompany him, the healer and the strategist, an agent of chaos, in the adventure of his life. Without further preamble, I will let Mark take the mic. SynopsisHi! My name is Mark. This is my story, my life as I live it day after day. I’m in my thirties, and there’s nothing I love more than playing online games. I’ve just joined the action on the newest VRMMO game, Pawns of God. An immersive experience you can play while sleeping. Of course, as a game that takes pride in its long development and technological advances, everything inside seems and feels real. Beware, this is not a game-turns-real story. I love my own world and I would detest being summoned into another one. If that ever happens, I’ll just quickly take my life and be done with it. I play with my friends, in a party of 5. We have taken several roles, but lately, I've come to love being a healer. It's my secret ambition to someday be the shotcaller. I am not overpowered. If there is any bug or exploit in the game, they are yet to be discovered. Anyhow, for a game of this scale, the company is pouring all of its resources into test servers, QA, and beta tests. I don’t expect to find any, so I’ll be playing the game just like any other person. I must say, though, I am easily distracted, as you will immediately notice once you start. I'm working on it, I promise to improve! I am no hero. Being in my 30s, my heart is too old for this shit. I wouldn’t mind being one, of course. Who hasn’t dreamt of it? Either way, I’m not doing any grand quest to save the world. Whatever the game throws to their users, I’ll be there to experience it. Most of my life, at least the interesting parts that I’ll be narrating, happen inside the game itself. Rarely, there will be some IRL (In Real Life) chapters. You’ll understand, however, that as a freelance software developer, there is not much I can entertain you with when outside the game. Did I say I love games? Well, I’m also a fan of LitRPG literature. You know, journeys of magic, relationships, personal development, items, skills, discovery… In the spirit of not overwhelming my public, I’ll condense each chapter into circa 1500 words. You might have noticed some tags over this story, let me elaborate. I like to swear. I’m not shy when it comes to cursing my enemies, friends, or even myself. When there’s blood, I tell it as I see it. And… it hurts to admit it, but I’m not a casanova. Of course, this doesn’t mean that I won’t ever find love. So, in case I do end up finding it, let’s keep my sexual options open. As for traumas, none yet, but the future is vast and unknown. Release Schedule The schedule is subject to change, particularly if enough readers end up loving it. All chapters are already written, thus there is enough freedom to modify them.
