Any form of alchemy or magic is strictly forbidden. Fatal, near fatal or lasting physical injury is strictly forbidden. Cleanse tags are required for participation in the war. Forced or unwanted removal of cleanse tags will immediately disqualify both participants from the current war, followed by arbitration by a Supervisor. Non-participants’ cleanse tags are not saturated, and are forbidden to interfere with the war. Duels. Supervisors will arbitrate Duels, and the rules of the Duel will be determined by the Supervisor. The Supervisor will determine the rules of the duel, including but not limited to the form of competition and cleanse tag energy losses. Unless otherwise stated by the Supervisor, only the selected can participate and represent in the Duel. After taking a loss of cleanse tag energy, the losing party is entitled to having him/herself swapped out for an ally. Any interference is an automatic loss for the offending party, unless it is from neither party, then it is up to the arbitrator. Ending a war. The last remaining Class Representative whose cleanse tag have yet to reach full saturation becomes the winning party. Class Representatives who are the war leaders can issue a surrender for their entire alliance. The Principal, or the delegated authority for the Principal, can arbitrate the end of a war. The result will be arbitrated by said person, and is automatically enforced with or without peace negotiations. Supervisors and Student Council Members of parties not involved in the relevant war can also invoke the powers described in 5.3 if there is foul play beyond reasonable doubt. Peace terms. Peace terms will be negotiated by the parties involved. Peace terms made must be endorsed by the Supervisors. Peace terms, when agreed upon, are legally binding. Peace terms negotiations and proceedings are arbitrated by the Student Council Executives and Supervisors. Outside of war. A party cannot declare war on another party that they were at war with for less than fourteen days ago. These terms can be extended, but not shortened, in negotiating peace terms. Conscription of lower year students within the same class allocation: Conscription can only occur once every two months. Standard Diploma students under conscription are entitled to conscientious objection. Conscripted students are handed fresh cleanse tags each time. Rules of the Game cannot be overturned in any circumstance outside of the Rules of the Game. Class Representatives are entitled to have their cleanse tags de-saturated prior to and after a war. Participants of the war are entitled to have their cleanse tags partially de-saturated after the war, up to ten percent. All are entitled to de-saturation of the cleanse tag at the beginning of every month. Winning the game. At the end of the year, the party with the most points win. In the event of a tie, a final showdown is initiated, with forced conscription, exempting rule 7.2.1. The winning prize is obtaining the Standard Diploma in place of the People’s Diploma for all those applicable, and a 40 point increase in their final scores, spread across their subjects with the lowest scores. In addition, their names and class photo will be engraved and hung respectively on the Wall of Victory in the West Hall.

Outlands
Ryou, a relentlessly repressed accountant, accidentally slips between dimensions, right into the middle of a fight between a stranger and a couple of outlandish creatures. Since he's not a complete idiot, Ryou quickly retraces his steps and flees backs to the normal world , but he brings the stranger along with him. Now his life is going to take a sharp turn away from "repressed" to very strange places indeed: into a warped image of the past and into a very uncertain future, through war and violence to the very edges of reality and beyond.
