Arita and Mayako sat quietly in the abandoned house as they heard footsteps run by, they waited a bit just incase there was more they sighed in relief when the heard nothing, in the time they had been in the abandonded house coming up with a plan of escape the Elder Council operatives and some townspeople had run by making hard for them to finish planning. Arita and Mayako looked at each other and got back to it, "Okay, so, we're going to go out the back of this house" Arita started, he had found a back door that lead to an alleyway when he was looking for a way to get outside to go and find the exit. He felt that it would be uselful in there plan, "Once we get into the alleyway, we'll naviagte our way to the exit" Mayako had a displeased look on her face, "What? you don't like the plan?" Mayako shook her head "No, It's a good plan but, what about getting my bag that a certain dumb cat didn't let me grab before he started running off with me!?" Arita grumbled "Look! I said I was sorry! We had to get outta sight before the Elder Council started running through the streets!" Mayako grumbled.
Arita sighed, again Mayako was going on about having left behind her bag, "Maybe if you wouldn't have thrown it off you would still have it!" Mayako clicked her tounge, "Besides, we run the risk of getting caught if we try to go back for it" Mayako huffed "Yeah, you say something like that because your a guy!" Arita grunted "What's that suppose to mean!?" Mayako sighed "I'm a girl! I can't wear the same clothes for however long we'll be on the run!" Arita palmed his face "Really, clothes? Thats why the bag is so important?" Mayako grumbled angrily. "I'm not going to go around with the same clothes that's going to start falling apart!" Arita sighed "Come on, whats a few little tears in your clothes?" Mayako huffed but then she got an idea, "Oh, I see, you want that to happen" she smirked Arita blushed "What the hell are you implying!?" Mayako snickered "Oh, nothing, just you want me to be wearing clothes with holes so you can see my body, right?" Mayako smirked Arita's face got darker red. "N-no, I just think that its not a big deal" Mayako chuckled to herself, she could see her plan was working, "Oh, then your not going to mind when my shirt falls apart and my breasts" Arita put his hand in Mayako's face stopping her.

Mayako didn't need to finish, he was already imagining it in his head, he blushed hard "Alright, we'll get the damn bag" Mayako smiled victoriously "Thanks" Arita grumbled knowing he had just fell for Mayako's trap, "Anyway, back to our plan of escape" Mayako put on a serious face, "We go out the back, we navigate our way to the exit" Mayako grumbled a bit, Arita sighed "And along the way, we can get your bag" Mayako smiled. "Then, once we get to the exit we'll see how many Elder Council operatives are there" Mayako nodded "If there's not too many we'll sneak by" Mayako interjected "What if there is too many?" Arita thought for a bit, "If there's too many we'll find a way around them" Mayako moaned unsure. Arita smiled reassuringly "Don't worry, we're going to get out of here" Mayako sighed and for some reason she smiled, something was telling her to trust what Arita was saying this sort of thing had started to happen ever since Arita had saved her from getting stabbed.
Mayako didn't have time to decern what this feeling was, as there was a more pressing matter at hand, getting out of the town without being spotted by the Elder Council "Alright, but what do we do if we come across some operatives?" Arita sighed "If they don't look that strong we'll fight them" Mayako was a bit hesitant, she was a bit scared to fight operatives from the Elder Council. Again the feeling came back, it was telling her she'd be okay with Arita by her side, she took a breath and nodded "Alright" Arita smiled "Okay, so we're both in agreement on this plan?" Mayako nodded "Okay, lets put it into action shall we?" with that the two rose and headed to the back of the house. Arita went first, he slowly pushed the old door open and poked his head out and looked for any sign of a Elder Council operatives or townfolk, when he saw the coast was clear he walked out and Mayako fallowed behind him, Arita felt that they were lucky the town happened to have lots of alleyways that were perfect to sneak around the unknowking Elder Council.

"Alright, lets go find your bag and then get the hell outta here" Mayako nodded she then started to locate where her bag was by finding her scent, when she picked up on it she looked at Arita who nodded and she lead the way. The two ran through alleyway after alleyway until they came to a stop as a Elder Council operative ran passed them, they hugged the wall and breathed a sigh of relief at not getting spotted "That was too close" Arita commented "Get your bag quick and lets go" Mayako nodded she poked her head out and spotted her bag laying where she had left it. She didn't see any Elder Council members around, nor the thugs that had messed with her, she ran out into the street and grabbed her bag and quickly ran back into the alleyway she looked at Arita and smiled triumphantly.
Arita sighed and nodded, "Alright, lets get out of here" Mayako nodded and strapped her bag to her back and fallowed Arita back the way they came it didn't take Arita long to navigate the alleyways as he had found the right path before hand. He stopped Mayako when they got close it, "Let me see how far it is" Mayako nodded Arita peered out from the alleway and saw that the exit was a few feet away "So, how many are there?" came Mayako's voice. Arita scanned the area around the exit and counted twenty operatives standing guard and on the look out he cursed, he slinked back into the alleyway "Well?" Mayako asked Arita looked at her "We're about a good two feet away from the exit" Mayako grumbled "How many operatives did you see?" Arita chuckled "Uhm,about twenty of them" Mayako sighed disheartened.
"Hey come on, the exit was possiblity one, we've got a second" Mayako nodded, "Alright, time to find a way around" just then as they were about to walk off they heard a voice "Oh, so this is where you were hiding" the two froze and cursed under their breath, they had been found but how, and by who? That question was answered when a figure jumped down from ontop a building and in landed front of them. The figure before them was a boy that looked to be about Mayako's age, when Mayako got a good look at him her eyes went wide "It..It can't be.."she mumbled the boy had four orange and white tipped tails flowing behind him, he had a angry look on his face as he eyed Mayako. Mayako knew who the boy before them was, even though he looked diffrent she knew, it was Sanda, Sanda Yumiya, "S-Sanda.." Mayako mumbled his name, Sanda grinned and chuckled "I finally found you, the monster that killed my brother" Mayako shuddered as Sanda's rage filled eyes stared at her. [Ch.23 part 4 END]

Blue Hills
Nothing had ever felt quite right for Alexander Adamson. He'd worked his way up to a job he could tolerate, a few casual friends, and even a nice little apartment that he could call his own, though it really wasn't. The problem was that none of it was satisfying. It was as though he were going through the motions of a life, rather than having one of his own. Of course, it didn't exactly feel right when he woke up in a strange bed in the middle of nowhere. Nor when he was told that he was now the proud owner and operator of a local farm. A farm that had belonged to a late uncle he'd never known. But with the first train out of town a full 'season' away, he had plenty of time to get used to the idea. Plenty of time, perhaps, to even get to like the strange little town of Blue Hills. I have a discord now. Marvel at my ability to somehow still be antisocial on the other side of a screen! Back from hiatus along with my other fiction. Chapters are on a Thurs/Sun schedule until book 3 of that fiction is completed, at which point I'll be updating this daily. At which point uh.... I dunno what I'm going to do.

A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...
