Yuki Pov

It was a cloudy morning when a boy had just woken up for school and started thinking about a certain event that took place yesterday.

“Why was everything frozen like if time stopped? Why could that girl move while everyone else was frozen in time? Why can I move too?”

His thoughts got disturbed when he heard his younger sister telling him to come to eat breakfast, he finished getting dressed and went to go to eat breakfast.

“You look a bit more focused this morning like if something was on your mind?”

“I’ve just been thinking about something lately but it’s nothing”

“What’s on your mind?”

“It’s nothing just something that happened that has been on my mind but it’s not important”

“Okay then if you need someone to listen to you, your younger sister is here for you at all times”

Yuki left his house and started walking to the train station. While walking he couldn’t stop thinking about the incident from the day before and of the mystery girl who could also move

“What could be causing all of this?”

As he kept thinking, it happened again, his gut started feeling the same pain as yesterday

“Again, why?”

This time he didn’t ignore the pain again he started thinking maybe the pain was receiving, maybe it had something to do with yesterday’s incident just maybe

“It couldn’t be a coincidence that my gut has been hurting, four times in the span of two days”

As the pain finally went away he got to school and there he met up with his childhood friend Shoji in the shoe lockers

“Hey Yuki, so you had something you wanted to ask me?”

“Yeah, I need to ask you something important, come with me to the library”

They arrived at the library and began to talk

“So what’s up?”

“Okay let’s say that time was frozen which caused everyone to be frozen as well but for some reason, you and a girl weren’t, what would you do?”

“That sound something out of a strange mystery light novel but I would probably try finding out what caused time to be frozen, then I would try to find a connection between me and the girl or something that could explain the reason why we weren’t frozen in time”

“Why are you asking me something so detailed?”

“Am thinking of writing a light novel and wanted to create a plot similar to that”

“Oh well that makes sense then since as a kid I remember you would always read light novels”

“Is that all though?”

“Yes, thank you Shoji”

“No problem tha’s what bestfriends are for”

They both went to their classrooms since class was about to start, Yuki thought about what Shoji would do and decided that he would investigate this mystery of time freezing

“Is there a connection between me and the girl that causes us to not be frozen in time?”

“I need to get in contact with that girl, I need her help to solve this”

As he was thinking of a way of contacting the mystery girl, his stomach started hurting like before

This time the pain he was feeling was a bit different than the others, it felt worse as something worse was hitting him, he decided to lay his head on his desk again

As he laid his head on his desk he closed his eyes for a split second, when he opened them he noticed everyone was frozen again

He knew this was his chance to get in contact with the girl, with that Yuki left his classroom while running towards the same place he found the girl hoping she would be there again
