[Olivia and Gary are stood outside of Vince’s house, leant against the door frame. Inside, very audibly, Vince is scrambling around upstairs with Leigh and Chelsea on the search for the gun. Gary very slowly moves towards Liv. The door opens up, catching both of their attention. Out the front door walks a middle-aged brown haired woman wearing a long purple dress and a white cardigan, holding a bottle of orange juice.]
Carol: Would either of you two like a drink while you wait?
Liv: It’s fine Ms Cosgrove. Will they be long, do you know?
Carol: Not sure, Olivia, honey. I’ll let you know.
Liv: Thank you.
[The two smile and Carol goes back in side head back inside.]
Gary: Um… question for the group mother?
Liv: [annoyed] I’m not your mother, please don’t call me one.
Gary: Oh, but you’d be such a great one.
[Liv dials a number and puts her phone to her ear.]
Liv: [annoyed] What is it, Gary?
Gary: Well I just, y’know, wanted to see if you could do me a quick favour.
[Liv sighs, pulling the phone down, then looks at Gary.]
Liv: [confused] What?
Gary: If I try and do something to get my power, could you just heal me if it goes wrong?
Liv: [confused] Oh god, what? What are you going to do?
Gary: [embarrassed] Um… I don’t think I want to say.
Liv: Fine then.
[Liv rings the number again, listening to the dial tone.]
Gary: [quickly] Okay, fine, I’m gonna stick my hand in a blender.
Liv: [angry] Gary!
Gary: [defensively] What? You can heal me and it might lead to my power!
Liv: [angry] If I heal you then I’ll end up losing my hand, I don’t want to bloody- [calmly] Hello? Hello?

[Liv waits a few seconds, then groans and checks the phone.]
Liv: [annoyed] Fucking voicemail again… shit.
Gary: [confused] Um… what are you doing?
Liv: [annoyed] Trying to call Sissel’s mum, I think I made a mistake and I need to look into it.
Gary: [confused] Why? What did you do? Oh god, you showed her the cantrips. Oh my god, you did!
Liv: [annoyed] Will you shut up? It’s more important than that. Wait, cantrips?
Gary: [scared] Yes, cantrips, my idea! Not important! What is more important is why are you revealing our immeasurable ability upon the world?
Liv: [annoyed] Because she has one too.
[Gary is about to say something, but stops himself and looks at her surprised.]
Gary: [surprised, quiet] Oh. Well. That’s… [shouting] Sissel’s gonna die!
[Liv slaps Gary in the back of the head.]
Gary: [scared] Ow!
Liv: [worried] Will you calm down please? I’ve got enough to deal with between this lot and Sissel and my own shit. You know, I have my own problems to deal with as well!
Gary: [defensive] Well you’re allowed to bring it up! It helps to talk about it!
Liv: [annoyed] I know, but there isn’t much time when everyone- [calmly] Hey Velma, are you there?
[Liv pauses.]
Liv: [faux-calm] No, of course you’re not, why would you be? Not like you’re hiding some superpower shit, [yelling] you ignorant bitch!
[Liv hangs up, Gary surprised.]
Liv: [angry] What?
Gary: [scared] Was that-
Liv: [angry] No, I hung up before it went to voicemail.
[Gary takes a deep breath.]
Gary: [relieved] Oh thank god.
Liv: [annoyed] She is being a bitch though.
Gary: Are you sure that she knows about powers?
Liv: I showed her Cheshire’s power and her first guess was superpowers before anything else.

Gary: [panicking] What?
Liv: I also eavesdropped, she called someone about the… cantrips called Marshall. Maybe that’s someone we should look into?
Gary: [panicking] Yeah, sure, by the way, never do that again please!
Liv: [defensive] Why does it matter, she knows about them!
Gary: [panicking] We have… You have these abilities, I don’t want anyone getting dissected!
Liv: [annoyed] Oh, now you’re just being ridiculous.
Gary: [panicking] Oh, am I?
Liv: [annoyed] Yes!
Gary: [calm] Oh, fair enough then.
[Leigh, Chelsea and Vince leave the house, Leigh holding the gun close to his chest.]
Vince: [loud] See you later mum!
Carol: [distant] See you honey! Have a nice day!
[Vince closes the door. He quickly turns to the group.]
Leigh: We got it.
Chelsea: And we have a plan.
Liv: [distracted] Okay, tell me in a bit.
[Liv walks away from the group, trying to call Velma again.]
Leigh: [distant] Basically there’s this old part of college that doesn’t get used anymore, a swimming pool. It’ll be great to lead him into.
Gary: [distant] Will it work? Leading him there?
Vince: [distant] It has to. This guy is nuts. Now here's the plan...
[Liv dials, waiting by the end of the road.]
Liv: [worried, quietly] Come on, Velma, pick up already.
[Liv waits a few seconds then groans, hanging up.]
Liv: [worried] Where the hell are you?

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note! Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure. This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.

Nightmare Infinity
God's Dimension was created for the purpose of evolution. It would push its chosen through countless trials, horrors and nightmares to fulfill this goal. Only through the constant threat of death will humanity be forced to evolved. The chosen are those who have given up on life. Those who have nothing to live for, and those who life has nothing to offer. With the hope of finding that meaning, they enter God's Dimension. In the beginning God used the stories of mankind to create these trials. Sending the chosen into the worlds of monsters and demons, and granting them the powers of the inhabitants of those worlds. But with man's evolution God changed these trials, sending the chosen into new and more dangerous worlds, which in turn granted them access to the powers of those worlds. The first change came when God sent the chosen into the worlds of horror and action movies: Alien, Predator, The Grudge, Nightmare on Elm Street, Starship Troopers, and many more. The second change came when God included the worlds of Anime, Manga, and Light Novels into its trials: Fate/Zero, Btoom, Highschool of the Dead, Akame ga Kill, Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Terra Formars and many more. Now God has changed the trials once again and included the worlds of Video Games into its trials. In recent years the number of video games that come out each year has skyrocketed. More worlds, greater challenges, and increased danger await the chosen of God's Dimension. No one, even the veterans of God's Dimension, knows how this will affect them. The number of powers and worlds God's Dimension allows access to has once again increased, but will they survive long enough to make use of them? *Warning* This story is a Terror Infinity fanfic and will heavily cross over with different video games, anime, and manga. I will try to use ones which have already well known stories so as to not spoil anyone. Though I might change it up here and there to keep the plot interesting. Another warning is that this story will, or at least try, to show the despair and horrors each character went through. There will be a some gore, mature content, and some pretty disturbing stuff, but nothing too much. A story is meant to entertain and a grimdark gorefest is not that pleasant to read.
