《Wonderland: Origin Arc [Script]》2.13 - Shaking

[On the top of a roof in 2009, the original Wonderland group are crowding around Benny who is shaking on the ground. The rooftop is grey and looks damp, with the clouds above being dark and stormy. The roof is mostly empty but there’s a doorway back downstairs to the floor. Marshall and Alice are at the back of the roof by the door, wearing their masks. A past version of Goldberg stands over Benny, clean shaven with very short hair and wearing a black jumper. Hatter is stood to the left of Goldberg, hat on the ground and wearing a green suit with splashes of blood on it. Meanwhile Cheshire stands on the right of Goldberg, having black hair and purple eyes, blood around his mouth and a purple leather jacket on. Evan is away from the group, panicking and taking deep breaths. Sissel, Tracey and the modern Goldberg are watching.]
Sissel: [quietly] What… what’s happening?
Goldberg: You can speak normally, they don’t know we’re here.
Sissel: You-
Tracey: [surprised] I didn’t know you could do this.
Goldberg: [surprised] Neither did I, thought I saw the future… it’s kinda good to know.
[The three watch on as they barely get a glimpse of Benny, seeing a dark purple travelling up his neck. Tracey points at it as Cheshire moves his hand over it, looking for a pulse.]
Tracey: Hey, what’s that?
Goldberg: That’s the Storm.
[Sissel looks to Goldberg, worried. When the past group start talking, their voices are slightly echoed.]
Cheshire: It’s travelling again!
Hatter: One second!
[Hatter grabs his hat and starts searching through it.]
P. Goldberg: Hatter, get me a knife or something!
[Sissel turns to Goldberg.]
Sissel: [shouting] A knife!
Goldberg: Calm down, he was alive when you last saw him.
Tracey: Still a knife, to be fair.
[Hatter reaches his whole arm down into his top hat, eventually pulling out an umbrella. He looks at it confused, before holding it towards Goldberg.]
Hatter: Will this do?
Cheshire: [annoyed] That is an umbrella!
P. Goldberg: It’ll do. Chuck it!
[Hatter throws the umbrella to the past Goldberg who catches it. The White Rabbit steps towards them and observes Benny. The purple energy is slowly spreading up the ]

Evan: [panicking] He’s gonna be fine, right? He’ll be fine!
White Rabbit: Who cares?
P. Goldberg: [forceful] We do. He’s one of us.
White Rabbit: [angry] He’s the reason that this all started.
P. Goldberg: [forceful] We don’t know that!
[Cheshire growls, turning into an annoyed scream. He snatchs the umbrella from Goldberg and quickly starts to tear up the fabric at the top. Goldberg moves to the White Rabbit.]
White Rabbit: We could stop this from happening again. We’d save a whole lot more people.
P. Goldberg: [angry] Since when have we been saving people?
White Rabbit: [shouting] Since we dealt with the problem.
[Goldberg shoves the White Rabbit, the March Hare quickly moving to his side and catching him.]
P. Goldberg: [shouting] We are the problem!
[The March Hare moves in front of the White Rabbit, grabbing Goldberg by the collar.]
March Hare: If you lay a hand on my brother-
Hatter: [annoyed] Hey!
[Attention is drawn to Hatter and Cheshire. Hatter is stood above Evan as Cheshire holds the frame of a metal umbrella.]
Hatter: [annoyed] I can’t believe that I’m the one saying this, but can we save the argument for after we’ve nearly killed a kid?
[Goldberg goes back over to the two as they stand over Benny, meanwhile the March Hare walks the White Rabbit away from the situation and towards the door back into the building. During this, the present version of Goldberg stares at the situation with Sissel and Tracey.]
Tracey: What the hell is an umbrella gonna do?
Goldberg: Oh, we stab him with it.
Sissel: [panicked] What?
Goldberg: Simple. Look up.
[The three look up and see the Storm starting to spin around them. Goldberg goes wide-eyed, turning to the two. In the background, Benny has the umbrella now sticking out of his chest and everyone is quickly backing away from him. Goldberg covers his ears.]
Goldberg: [quickly] Oh, um, cover your ears.
Sissel: [panicked] Why should we-
[Very suddenly a lightning bolt strikes the umbrella with a loud crash, Sissel screaming and falling over in a panic while Tracey quickly braces herself. The umbrella immediately is set on fire, but the purple energy across Benny is gone. He screams in pain and Evan, with the group by the door, quickly runs to him.]

Evan: [panicked] Benny!
[The whole Wonderland group run towards Benny, getting a hold of him. Cheshire quickly grabs the umbrella and rips it out of Benny, flinging it towards Goldberg and Tracey. The umbrella passes through them as they see the group all help Benny to his feet. The March Hare exits the building now to see this.]
P. Goldberg: Someone get him inside!
Benny: [confused, tired] What… wh-
Evan: You’re gonna be fine. Okay? You’ll be fine.
[Evan and Hatter quickly get Benny on his feet and drag him towards the building. The whole group moves as Cheshire shakes his burnt hands. Tracey quickly turns to Goldberg as Sissel gets up.]
Tracey: Sorry, what just happened?
Goldberg: The Storm. Well almost. Benny was able to make the Storm, that’s what gave your friend and me our powers.
Tracey: You say that like it’s normal.
Goldberg: Nothing’s fucking normal anymore.
[Sissel grabs onto Goldberg, almost falling on him.]
Sissel: [terrified] How do we go?
[Tracey and Goldberg look at Sissel.]
Goldberg: [concerned] Something wrong?
Sissel: [terrified] Yes! We need to go! We need to go now!
[Tracey holds Sissel’s arm.]
Tracey: [worried] What is it? What’s wrong?
Sissel: I… I jus-
[Sissel starts shaking, then screams. He collapses. Tracey falls next to him.]
Tracey: [panicked] Cecil! Cecil, what’s wrong?
[Goldberg looks at Sissel, crouching next to him. Sissel’s shaking more violently. Tracey looks at him.]
Tracey: [panicking] What’s happening to him?
Goldberg: [confused] I… I have no idea. This never happened to me.
Tracey: [panicking] You’re telling me you don’t know!
Goldberg: [panicking] Well how am I supposed to know? I usually don’t have this problem!
Alice: [calmly] Punch him.
[Tracey and Goldberg look towards the group, seeing the past Alice looking directly at them having moved over in front of the arguing team.]
Alice: [calmly] In the chest… punch him in the chest. That always works.
[Tracey quickly gets on top of Sissel, bringing her fist into the air. Goldberg looks at Alice in surprise.]
Goldberg: [surprised] That’s new.
[Tracey punches Sissel in the chest, who gasps loudly. The world almost instantly falls apart, quickly reconstructing itself as the College. Sissel is still on the floor, shaking. Goldberg gets up, looking forward at where Alice was stood.]
Tracey: [panicking] H-He’s still shaking! What do I do?
Goldberg: [surprised] P-punch him, that’s what Alice said.
Tracey: [panicking] Who?
[Tracey punches Sissel in the chest again, Goldberg coming back over.]
Goldberg: [surprised] That girl! Her name is Alice, she’s the Rabbit’s… sister.
[Tracey punches Sissel in the chest again.]
Tracey: [panicked] Well whatever she said, it’s wrong! It’s not working!
[In the background, Chelsea and Leigh are coming outside. They see Sissel on the ground, shaking.]
Leigh: Oh shit.
Chelsea: [panicked] Sissel!
[The two run over, standing over him.]
Leigh: [panicked] Shit… um… Sissel, you okay?
[Sissel slowly shakes his head, still shaking.]
Chelsea: [panicked] What do we do? How do we help?
[Goldberg and Tracey, above Leigh and Chelsea, look at each other.]
Goldberg: [faux-calm] Okay. I have a plan. Grab his arm for me.
[Tracey nods, panicking, and crouches down with Goldberg by Sissel’s right arm. She looks at him, him slowly turning to her. They both lift up his arm.]
Tracey: [faux-calm] You are gonna be fine, sweetie. Don’t worry. Brace!
[Goldberg and Tracey lift up Sissel’s arm and quickly smash it into his chest. He groans, them both dropping the arm.]
Tracey: [panicked] Are you sure this is going to work?
Goldberg: [panicked] Yes!
[Leigh looks at the arm and nods.]
Leigh: [confused, panicked] Okay. Sure, yeah, okay.
[Leigh gestures away Chelsea, then moves to stand over Sissel.]
Leigh: [worried, confused] Sorry about this.
[Leigh quickly punches Leigh in the stomach, Sissel finally stopping shaking and curling up into a ball.]
Sissel: [strained] Oh, fuck me sideways! Oh god!
[Leigh backs up quickly, Tracey moving next to him.]
Tracey: [with Chelsea] Are you okay?
Chelsea: [with Tracey] Are you okay?
[Sissel looks at Chelsea, then to Leigh. He quickly glances by a concerned looking Goldberg and rests his eyes with Tracey.]
Sissel: [strained] Yeah… probably...

Naga rising (Final version)
Eshanai used to think that her life was pretty good, that the elders of her tribe of Naga sisters had their best interests at heart. But one suspiciously regular disaster after another sort of makes you question things. So when Eshanai decides to go out on the island to do the unthinkable, break some rules, and nothing terrible happens to her like the elders said it would, her questions start to multiply. What else could the elders be wrong about? Were the Naga really chosen by the spirits? And could there be other people out there, beyond their island? Follow Eshanai and some of her sisters as she tries to find a way to leave the island and comes up with increasingly creative ways to get into a certain Oni's pants. Author's note: This is not a rewrite of my original Naga rising story. It's more of a reimagining, as it contains many of the same characters and settings but will have a completely different plot. Be advised that the two are not related to one another. This should not be seen as any form of sequel or prequel story. So I have caught up to my backlog, and at first, I thought I could release a chapter once a week. That turned out to be unrealistic as I am writing in my spare time, so periods of inaction might not be uncommon. Some of the tags might not come into effect until later on in the story.
