I suddenly hear an explosion, and warbled screams of terror.
“Arghhhhh!” The sounds are similar to dying storm-troopers in star wars
“Orlen , wake up! Something is happening!” I yell through the bars.
“ Ehh, what a beautiful dream that was laddie” he says while happily yawning
“ I think we are in trouble!” I yell desperately, trying to snap him out of it
I feel a sudden chill and look over to see a dragon munching on the former goblin slave master’s head.Thank god it hasn’t noticed us yet. I close my eyes. My sword! I must summon my sword to break these cell bars. I concentrate on my hands, and can feel a slight aura. I grit my teeth and clench my fingers.
“Aaargh!” I yell, summoning the mighty greatsword once again.
“ Ya did it boy!” the dwarf exclaims happily
I smash through the bars, then feel an intense heat. I look over and see the dragon has noticed us, and is walking our way.
“Oh shit!” I yell, quickly cutting through Orlen’s bars.
We run towards the end of the dungeon, the dragon following closely behind. We reach a wide empty chasm that must have been caused by the dragon. We run across the bridge with the dragon following closely behind.
Boom! The dragon roars, causing the walls around us to crumble. I’m now cut off between Orlen and the dragon.
“Orlen!” I yell, futilely attempting to break through the giant wall of rock between us with my greatsword.
“ It’s okay boy, I was destined to die here anyways, go and live on boy and meet your destiny” his soft,gruff voice can be heard in between the wall.
Orlen smashes the wall between us with I don’t know what, and causes the rest of the cave to fall upon them with a resounding boom.

“Noooooo!” I yell, pounding against the wall of stone where Orlen once was, tears streaming down my face.
I look up around and I’m outside now, the dragon and Orlen now long gone. I see an array of elegant mountains and beautiful trees being silhouetted by the sunset. Such a beautiful scene for such a sad day. I’m on top of a ledge with a rocky path facing down the mountain.
I guess the only thing to do now is follow it...

She awakens in this new kind of Arsea, after having witness the end of a dear friend. The world now belonged to the monstrosities of old, the Beta, and their corrupted human warriors, the Eld. With her fake identity, that which defined her in this world, being stripped from her, she now has to navigate a darkness in which not even the women she loves recognize her. This is book 2 of the Evangeline Sayagawa "Zeroth Knight" story, with book 1 being found here. The first "chapter" posted here is a hyper-condensed version of volume/book 1, in case anyone needs a generalized refresher of events, or for those who wish to start with this book instead as it is faster paced and more action-packed than the first one. Suffice to say, but most of the details from book 1 are lost by doing this; however, enough of the more-important information is present to allow one to understand the general idea of what is going on. This book features a mostly lesbian cast and deals more so with fate and crises of identity more than anything else. However, there is much more action in this one than any of my other stories thus far and brings about the end of Evangeline Sayagawa's story arch... sort of. Why did Emily forget what makes her different? Why the hell, all of a sudden, can Emily see three floating panels in the middle of the darkness? What is this? A video game with a lush green-eyed redhead as the main character? Daughters of the Void is a story told from multiple points of view, which occur in parallel. As if they were several series in one, where each protagonist advances at their own pace. At first, the story of each character will advance slowly, so I ask you to be patient. Soon, you will discover a story of extreme survival in a medieval fantasy world. A story, a bit dark, that can also be a bit comical at certain moments. But above all, it can be harsh and cruel to its protagonists. I’ve introduced LitRPG elements in a very soft and almost non-existent way at the beginning of the story. As the story progresses, they will become more and more abundant, depending on the protagonist. Emily is the main and first protagonist of "Daughters of the Void". After her; Dianna, Tanya and others. Above all, I’m looking for your immersion, so I will make you aware of most of the thoughts of the protagonists. I also want the reader to feel some uncertainty, putting yourselves in the shoes of some girls who can't find what they lack. I look for realism, but also to surprise myself. Around chapter 25 there is an awakening of the protagonists. Moment in which they will begin to behave as they really want to be. Unrivaled adventurers. Heroines of legend. The secondary protagonists were created to cover some deficiencies that I noticed that the series had when it was only Emily, so their chapters will be more sporadic. Tags and warnings give me creative freedom. This is the first story I've written, although they are not my first drawings. Be kind with your reviews. I know everything can be improved. Also, English is not my native language, neither is my brother's. He’s the one who translates the story. Constructive feedback is always welcome. We learn day by day.
