《Cursed Child of the Eternal Realm》Prologue - Fallen One

In the endless Starry Skies, countless planes and realms of existence litter each corner of the unknown. Too huge to explore in a single lifetime, even lifetimes for that matter. Too far apart to able to transverse between each other. A cycle of destruction and creation happens naturally, as if the void is alive and breathing. It has processed numerous realms to its inevitable end, but also birthed uncountable planes to reality. No one ever knew who was behind this well-oiled machine, nor was there ever a being that dare to claim credit for it.
In one particular corner of the Starry Skies, underneath the nebulas and gigantic heavenly bodies, is the location of one such realm. This realm, like many others, hosts a variety of life. From the tiniest of fairy creatures, to the most towering of titans and majestic dragons. All live together as neighbors in this endless realm and border their own regions. Based on the multifarous cities that marvel the glory of the realm, you can say that the civilization here is anything but primitive.
Three moons hung up on the night sky, peacefully emitting light to all those below. Contrary to the peaceful moons above, all those that are illuminated by it are anything but. A tension fills the air, like a beast waiting to be unleashed upon sheep. This... is the scent of war! A warring era is upon them; blades must be sharpened, mages to their staffs, the holds activate their smiths. Blood is to spill.
While the the beings below prepare for war, a different scenario is taking place up-high. Above the realm's Mortal plane, higher than the three moons and suns of the land, lies the plane of Heaven! If you look from afar, a shimmering white tide is moving ever so slowly. It's rhythm; perfect, it's movement; mechanical. Like fire that burns through the grasslands.
But look again and this time if you look closely, what you see is no tide nor fire, but legions of angels with a pair of white wings, all clad in heavenly armor! This massive army counted on the millions minimum has been mobilised as if to face the biggest threat to Heaven itself.
Leading this unmatched legion of angels, are three angels with not one pair of wings, but six golden wings in total. Their armour vastly different to those behind them. Exuding an aura of a higher-being that looks down on all creation. They are engulfed in white flames that burns brightly on their perfect bodies. With sword in hand, one of the three signals for the army to stop their march.
"Lucyfer!" the angel who seems to be their leader shouted. His voice stern and commanding and his gaze relentless and unforgiving, the land below shook a little with the intensity of his voice.
In contradiction to what is likely to be an unlimited number of angels, the one on the other side was a solitary angel clad in armour that is looked to be forged out of night itself. So dark and black one could feel lost just by staring at it. Coupled with thin pulsating crimson lines on the armour resembling blood vessels, it gave off an extremely sinister feeling.

The solitary figure too has a sword in hand, as if prepared to face the might of all of Heaven. Stood upright and unyielding, as if not bothered at all by the disadvantage brought upon by numbers, she returned the angel's gaze with tenfold the intensity.
Furthermore, this angel did not have six golden wings, but eight wings black as the abyss, lined with crimson making it look as if it was dripping with blood. Dark flames cover her body, making her stand out in this world made of pure white light.
Seeing there was no reply, the six-winged angel in the middle continued, "Our Lord, Our Father, demands your presence! Stop with this now, we are preparing to wage war with the Hells below us and the gods of the plane! Know thy place and yield!"
"How long are you going to continue this farce Michkael?" she asked, her tone indifferent. She smiled and continued in a mocking voice, "Father wants me dead, you lot should know that. The temptation of being the Overgod got to his head, he's a fool beyond saving."
"HOW DARE THEE MOCK THE NAME OF OUR FATHER?!", the six-winged angel in the right flank roared, unsheathing his sword at the same time.
The six-winged angel in the middle, named Michkael, continued as if not bothered by Lucyfer's provocations, "The Father has His duties and we have ours. Our duty is to yield to His commands, that is our principle since our creation and that stands up to now. Go against this principle and thy shall be condemned to fate far worse than death."
Lucyfer still standing upright also unsheated her sword, speaking calmly she said, "At this point, I have lost count as to how many angels I've slain. Numb at the sight of rivers of blood flowing," she caressed the blade of her sword, admiring the intricate patterns carved upon it, "We are blessed with wisdom to make our own judgement and to see all secrets that others possess. As such, I've seen the truth behind our Father. As I am created in his image, I too have a will of my own, and my own secrets that I keep...", suddenly she started shivering.
Jet black curved horns suddenly jutted out her helmet, if one could see under her visor, they would see crimson eyes red as blood. A long reptillian tail protruded from her back. This sudden change give her a different air, like one would get from archdemons of the Hells. Gone was the heavenly aura she exuded, replaced by an aura so tainted and evil, she laughed maniacally.
This sight caused all the angels to gasp. A favored child of Heaven fallen to such a state, transforming into their worst of enemies, this is the highest of all the sins that can be committed by an angel!
"Lucyfer.. to think you've fallen..," Michkael was lost. Being created alongside her and having been through countless battles with her, he did not know how to react to such a scene. Maybe he never did expect things would go this way, or maybe he did. Be it the will of his Father or the workings of fate, he felt his heart wrenched out nonetheless.

Steeling himself, he said with voice ice-cold, "Lucyfer, Light of the Morning Star, Bane of Demons and Devils, Sword of Our Father, General of the Heavenly Legion, Creation of the highest Order, for thy crimes against the will of Our Father and falling from His grace, you are hereby denounced by all of Heaven! Your sentence shall be... death and your soul shall be subject to unending pain for eternity."
"Such is the will of Heaven.", she laughed. With the armies of Heaven upon her, she did not seem bothered, as if she was prepared for the outcome nay, as if she already knew the outcome. She was unwilling! To be caged like an animal and to follow another one's will by nature is a fate worse to her than death. She wanted to drive her sword unto her Father's heart herself. Pity that such an aspiration is impossible now.
Lifting her sword and assuming her battle stance, there is no more going back now. She casted multiple strengthening buffs on herself. Going all out from the get-go, with no trickery, no tactics, only pure unadulterated rage and power.
"-[Wrath of Heaven]- !"
With a downward slice that seemed ordinary, the power it unleashed was anything but. With the sound of the explosion alone can blow the heads of archangels, it's might can be imagined. It seemed as if Heaven will collapse, the skies turned fiery red. The chaos and damage the atttack caused upon the ranks of the Heavenly Legion was astounding.
"-[First Breath of Dawn]- !"
Mickhael lifted his shield to catch the sword strike, while enveloping the army with a soothing sound that calmed their minds and minimizing the damage dealt. With a deafening shockwave ringing for miles, the sword was stopped. The two six-winged angels flanked Lucyfer, with one holding a greatsword that seemed to be forged from a star, and the other holding a short-sword made of pure light, they slashed down with accuracy and released their powerful skills.
"-[Judgement at the Gates]-!"
"-[Seventh Gate Seal]-!"
With a powerful strike from the left, and her movements being restricted on the right. Lucyfer barely dodged the skills of two seraphim, but she returned those attacks with interest. In one moment the three exchanged a thousand blows each with Lucyfer. She was barely holding on. The ensuing fight was literally Heaven shattering, millions of angels dead in one strike, and there was a lot more to come.
She decapitated an angel to the left, swooping her sword upwards to split another in half. Her dark armour now stained blood red, as she kept on the carnage. She was a literal demon, enraged and out of control, she swung her sword in all directions annihilating all those that come close.
She felt a sharp pain at her shoulder, bringing her back to rationality. One of the six-winged angels landed a strike on her. However there was no time to return the blow, as she was bombarded by different skills and slashes from Michkael and the seraphim with the greatsword. The wound wasn't fatal, but one wound would mean one step closer to death.
She laughed while decapitating a screaming archangel. The smell of blood and gore around her was sickening. As if one layer of the Hells was brought into Heaven. She screamed as she released a skill that stunned the enemies around her vicinity, which was followed by a string of flying limbs and splurts of blood. Just like that thousands of angels died.
The massacre was cut short as she recieved an attack from the tall seraphim with the greatsword, their strength almost equal. Just as she was about to push back the greatsword, Michkael roared..
"-[Heavenly Sword: Heaven Smite]- !"
Pinned down by the greatsword while the other seraphim with the short-sword casted another movement restricting spell, she had no other choice but to take the blow head-on. She watched as her left arm was separated from her body, trailed by a fountain of blood. An intense pain surged through her which made her grit her teeth.
She chuckled, resigning to her fate that was to come. Another strike from the greatsword decapitated her right leg, while a short-sword stabbed at her back. She spat a huge amount blood. Another relentless attack swurved down at her back, cutting two of her black wings.
She finally went down on her knees, where countless angels stabbed their spears and slashed their swords on her body. She was ruined beyond belief. But her eyes still crimson, still full of defiance. Michkael looked unaffected on the outside. But only he knew that inside the visor of his helmet you can see his eyes radiant as the sun, shedding a tear for his fallen comrade.
It was at that moment that Michkael stabbed his sword deep into Lucyfer's stomach. The strike looked perfect and flawless befitting an angel of his status. But only Lucyfer can feel the trembling in his hands. After the strike, he kicked her down hard, letting her fall to the Mortal plane below.
"Michkael, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!", the seraphim with the greatsword screamed.
"What I wanted to be done, Sandalphon," Michkael replied, his tone mysterious.
"But that is not the will of Our Father!" the other serpahim with the short-sword interjected.
"If the day comes that this decision of mine brings upon dire consequences, I shall willingly let myself be thrown to the deepest layer of Hell, Kassael." Michkael replied.
As the three saw the ruined figure of what was once one of the greatest creation of their Father falling to the lower planes, they didn't know what to feel. There was no victory in slaugthering one of their own. But what's done is done. Lucyfer was no more.
A shooting star blazed brightly on the starry sky. Being late into the night, nobody but drunkards in their stupor noticed it, but then again they really could not distiguish real from unreal either. All of the beings of the Mortal plane slept uneasily that night. Whether it was the rising tension of the coming war, or because of something else, a fallen one that darted across the night sky was felt by all.
