《I am the Night》Chapter 17: The school problem

"Give me your phone." Mr. Valetin said to one of the boys in the front row of his class. "You took a picture of that woman that was just in my classroom, I want it. Give me your phone." He said again with his normally soft voice before shouting loudly and angrily in the teen's ear, "NOW!"
"Alright, Mr. V, relax, alright? Here's the pic. Do you want me to..." The teacher grabbed the phone and then walked over and sat at his desk. He plugged in the phone and downloaded the picture to his computer. Once that was done he threw the phone back to the teen. Who barely managed to catch it. "Fuck, Mr. V, you almost broke my phone!"
The teacher stared at the pic in a trance. The bell rang and the students all left his class. He remained seated staring at the picture of Selina.
The smallish boy from the class grabbed all the others from his group, "Here's how it is... Wayne knew what class I had. He came in and threatened to kill us if we don't clean the school up. So, pass the word. Everyone chips in, clean up your trash. No more paint on the school, we find a kid trashing the school he's going down. Alright, go fuck off and pass the word."
"Hey Grayson, are you serious right now?" One of the taller boys asked.
The smallish boy chuckled and then walked over to him and swung a right cross into the boy's jaw knocking him out cold. "Yeah, I'm pretty fucking serious right now."
"Jesus, Richard, you fucking destroyed him!" Another of the boys stared wide-eyed.
"Take this lump to the nurse, he fell down the stairs." The smallish boy said to the others. "And pass the fucking word. Everyone chips in."
All the tough kids at Amedeus W. Arkham were soon patrolling the hallways cleaning up trash. The Teachers and other Faculty stared in disbelief as they hurried off to their cars to get out of the school at the end of their workday.
Meanwhile, in the principal's office, Wayne and Selina waited for the superintendent to arrive. They looked up at the clock seeing it was nearly 4. Wayne looked at his watch and then asked the principal, "The superintendent, can you tell me about them?"
"Ah, yes, well..." He cleared his throat, "She's someone that came from a Texas high school, I guess it was one that former President George W. liked. He used her school as an example of how to run the 'no child left behind' program."
Wayne looked annoyed, "Does she live in Gotham City?"
The principal wiped his forehead and then answered honestly, "I think she lives in Metropolis, across the bay in Delaware."

"Has she ever visited your school since she has been the superintendent?" Wayne drummed his fingers on the arm of the uncomfortable chair he was seated in.
The principal smiled and shook his head, "No, I have only met her at board meetings. Her office is in the City Hall building, but she is rarely ever there either."
Wayne nodded and said, "Yes, I know." He looked at the clock, "I also know that it takes exactly half an hour to get here from there. This means if she left her office at 3:30 the time for our meeting, she would have been here by now. However, if she left her home in Metropolis at 2:30 she should be arriving in three minutes due to traffic at this hour."
The principal wiped the sweat from his forehead and watched as the second hand traveled around the clock three more times. The door to his office opened and an older woman walked in, looking as if she was right on time. "Hello, you must be Bruce Wayne?"
Wayne stood up with Selina right behind him. Wayne looked at the clock and said to the woman, "Well, you're fired."
He led Selina out of the principal's office and walked out to the fire lane. Alfred pulled the Rolls around and opened the door for them. The superintendent and the principal came out right behind them walking urgently she called out, "Mr. Wayne! Mr. Wayne, I'm sorry I was just a little late, can't we talk?"
Wayne looked at her like she was dirt and said, "You had my time. You wasted it. Now, I'm going to speak to the board. Once they hear you cost the district my billion-dollar grant, what do you suppose they will do? Of course, I will give them a second chance, fire you, and then I may reconsider."
Wayne got in the car followed by Selina. Alfred smiled and gave her a little bow, "Madam." He walked around and got in the car. Moments later she was left standing there with a dumb look on her face as Bruce Wayne's car drove away. The principal shook his head. A few seconds later Lazlo Valentin came out smiling weirdly. He got into a beat-to-hell Kia and drove after the Rolls.
Selina looked at Wayne and asked, "Was it all you'd hoped it would be?"
Wayne sighed, "No, I was hoping we'd learn some embarrassing secret of yours. Like you were captain of the Mathlete team or something. Prom Queen? Pfft. Lame."
Selina smirked, "Not that you jerk, I meant the school."
Wayne nodded, "It was like you said, the schools are a microcosm of the city at large. A breeding ground for the problems of the city."

Selina nodded, "Yeah, sad to see it was much worse than when I went there. At least we had lockers. Can it be changed?"
Wayne smiled and nodded, "Yeah, first we'll get the schools clean, then make sure the kids have what they need to learn. Books, lockers, bags, good food. Alfred, do we have a tail? Crappy pinkish-red Kia Spectra?"
Alfred turned suddenly causing Selina to spill into Wayne's lap momentarily. "Yes, Master Bruce it just followed my turn."
Selina looked out the window and asked, "How the hell did you see that?"
Wayne pointed at the rearview mirror next to Alfred. "Habit, I can't turn it off, I notice things that need to be noticed." He turned and looked at Selina, "You smell wonderful by the way."
Selina sat up in her seat and looking proud replied, "Thank you." Giving a happy smile.
Alfred asked, "Shall I lose him, Master Bruce?"
Wayne thought about it, "It's not like it's a secret where I live, just take us home. He can argue with security if he wants to. At best he'll end up on a lower floor with no way to get up to the top floors. I already got his plate. I think it's the chemistry teacher from the school. He seemed obsessed with Selina."
Selina nodded, "You saw that too, huh? It's not unusual for guys to stare at my tits or ass like they are on fire, but that guy managed to get stuck in there like they owed him money or something. Creepy."
Wayne thought about it and then asked, "Did you have his class?"
Selina shook her head, "I don't think he was teaching there when I went to school."
Wayne drummed his fingers on the seat, "Look him up on the computer when we get back, lets's see if there is more to this teacher than just being a creep."
After they made it back to the tower Wayne sat down in the living room while Selina used a laptop to search for information on the teacher while sitting across from him. Alfred walked into the room and said, " Master Bruce, I am afraid there is something to report."
Wayne looked at Alfred, "Yes, what is it?"
Alfred looked over at Selina, "A VIP is downstairs looking to come up."
"A VIP? Who?" Wayne asked calmly.
Alfred cleared his throat, "Diana Themyscira."
Wayne nodded and then froze swallowing visibly, "Diana Themyscira? She's downstairs right now? Have them send her up." Wayne looked at Selina, "Selina, someone's coming up, an old friend. You... Well, you just have to know she flirts a lot, alright? She means no harm."
Selina looked up from the laptop looking confused.
Wayne and Alfred walked over to the Elevator and waited. When the doors opened Selina's eyes shot wide open and fear gripped her heart. Selina had always been proud of her looks, even with Julie as her best friend she never felt anything like inadequacies. Until this woman walked out of the elevator. To Selina's mind, she was looking at what could only be described as an actual Goddess.
"Bruce!" The woman came out of the elevator and draped herself on Wayne kissing him deeply. After a long kiss, she pulled back and asked, "Why did you ask if I was in town the other day?"
Selina stood up and to her horror realized that the woman in the elevator was taller, had bigger breasts, a perfect face, and a perfect figure. She could find not a single fault.
Wayne smiled and said, "I was looking for a killer with superstrength, I thought I'd check if you were around in case things got out of hand."
"I thought that's what it might have been, I sent Clark over, you didn't fight with him I hope?"
Wayne smiled, "No, but he was mad at Selina and me when he left cause we showed him his identity isn't secret."
"The glasses thing?"
Wayne nodded.
"Who is Selina?"
Wayne turned and called her over, "Selina, come meet Diana." He waited until she walked up saying, " Selina Kyle, this is Diana of Themyscira. You may have heard her called another name."
"Bruce! Just because Clark doesn't smack you for giving out his secret identity doesn't mean it's ok!" She looked at Selina and then rolled her eyes, "Hello, I'm Wonder Woman."
Selina looked at Wayne with an expression that said, this is my competition, really?
Diana looked Selina up and down in the same way that men did. "Pretty."
Wayne chuckled, "Alright Diana, what's up? What brings you to town?"
Diana smiled at Bruce and said, "I'm in town for a conference. Do you mind if I stay with you?" She dragged a finger down his chest.
Wayne scratched his head, "Well, Selina has the guest room right now..."
Selina wrapped herself on Wayne's arm again and said, "It's alright, I'll just sleep with you Bruce, she can use the other room."
Diana tilted her head and then smiled, "Oh? I was hoping to spend the night with you, pretty." She smiled and licked her lips seductively.
Selina broke out in goosebumps
