The dark skies conquerors as the ominous storm blow. Thunder clashed, the ocean raised. Riding the sea of blood, three motorboats excelling their way to the island.
The seven-meter water giant standing, gathering water towards them and creating destructive storms across the oceans.
"Captain, what is that?!" A female voice was heard inside the boat. Attaching attention towards the giant from the crew.
The captain opened her eyes, altering colours from purple to blue to ocean green as if it could have been any colour. Her scarlet crimson hair dyed with beauty as if it was shinning with light. She stood up, with hair to her waist and charming voice. She spoke. "Full speed ahead."
They approach a shore, only to find a group of three hiding in a small den from the weather.
Stephanie jumped off the boat, with her 173 centimetres height, she approaches the group like a model. Wearing a female guardian outfit, mini-skirts revealing her legs and black lace-boots covering her feet. The crew followed her footsteps.
The group of three notices her, charmed by her beauty, they all stared at her as if they were captivated by her eyes.
Eric lifted himself up, with injury all over this body, he greets her. "Stephanie, long time no see."
Stephanie gazed on the other two members of the group, a middle-aged man smiled at her and the young girl carrying a broken staff laying down unconscious.
"Where is Kiva? I heard King was on this mission as well?" Stephanie questioned with her enchanting voice.
"I don't know, but probably up there." He pointed to the seven-meter water giant.
Stephanie turned her head back, directing her orders to her medical team, 12 members of her team entered the small den. Using their abilities to enlarge the cave, creating a small fire for warmth, sharing food with the injured as Stephanie listened to Eric's story.
- Final Floor -
Kiva, King, and Alice trapped in black threads, unable to access their powers. Struggling themselves to break these trends with brutal force.
"What are these things?!" Alice asked with fearful thoughts in her tone. She had never seen these creatures before, there wasn't any in Verona, but she recognizes them, recognizes their figures, recognizes the fear that these tiny little creatures emit.
"Spiders, these spiders are called Abyssiders. Straight from the abyss itself, they have the ability to defy divines." Kiva replied in a calm tone.
"So what do we do now?" King asked, panicking.
"Let the giant attack us." Kiva's cold voice reaches out.
Both of them looking at him as if he was insane, but after all these times. They decided to trust him.
The water giant crushes down with this fist, the three of them closed their eyes as the impact comes. The fist made of water surged them inside, creating a tense of pressure blasting them into the air, along with the spiders.

Screaming to the pressure and carried by the winds, both King and Kiva grabbed Alice's hand, afraid of the girl flying out, as they dropped into the ocean of blood.
The threads became loose instead of solid in the water, King and Kiva grab the nearby small creatures as they came close with the pressure. Crushing it as they become darkness.
Pulling themselves above water, only to see Alice suffocating due to her inability to swim.
They swim to a nearby shore, reaching a den with a scarlet red girl waiting in front of them.
"Kiva, King, and Alice the new join. Having fun?. Stephanie spoke.
"Stephanie... Walker?" Kiva and King both replied.
The three of them entered the den, surrounding themselves with the fire. Gathering warmth and drying their clothes.
Noticing Eric, the middle-aged man and the young priest injured. Kiva figured the maze was too difficult for them.
"Stephanie, why are you here?" Kiva spoke in a friendly tone.
She stares at the Kiva with her altering eyes, looking back towards the water giant. "To stop that thing." She pointed.
"That thing is not stoppable. Unless we manage to disable the origin of its powers." Kiva replied back becoming silent for a while.
Stephanie gazed at the monster, staring at the center of its heart. "The Jewel of The Sea, also known as Poseidon's stone." Stephanie's tone became fearful.
"Poseidon..." Alice's voice flowed out.
"The Poseidon Stone holds the power of the water god, able to cause disasters and create monsters that normal human beings cannot withstand." Stephanie mentions.
She never heard of this name before, but somehow it comes to her mind with familiarity.
"The spiders are in this as well, they figured out a way to prevent us to use divine powers," King added.
"Divines..." Alice's voice flowed out again. This isn't the first time she heard out. The Spiders, Divines, Poseidon. All these words came with familiarity into her mind, but she cannot make anything out of it.
Alice gazed her eyes over to Eric since Eric was the one who explained Guardians to her. She went over and asked as Stephanie and the others develop their strategies.
"Divines are children of gods and goddess. You can call them demi-gods, but not all of them are born as demi-gods." Eric explained.
"At this current moment, there are three generations. The first one, Bloodlines, those who are born with the blood of gods. The second generation, Awakens, which is those who had powers given to them by gods themselves as a contract to serve them. The last generation, DNA-Masters, warriors and elites trained for war underneath artificial data of the gods." Eric explained further.
"These three over there are demi-gods. Kiva and Stephanie are bloodlines, while King is an Awaken." Eric spoke as Alice nods her head.

Thinking to herself, she realizes the spider's thread prevented her powers are well and the fact that Athena is a goddess, she would be an Awaken since she never had the powers in the beginning.
The land shook as if earthquakes were caused. The rain poured down heavy as the wind became stronger. The water giant started to move, his liquid form shouldn't be able to cause earthquakes but it did. The ocean rises, creating whirlpools and hurricanes as the giant walks across the waters.
Everyone gazed their attention towards the giant. "So we need to stop that thing?" The group questioned in a fearful way.
Stephanie nodded. "You have a plan?" Kiva noticed Stephanie's expression.
"Find the origin, disable it, and kill the spiders. Simple?" Stephanie smiled.
Kiva sighed, placing his hands onto his face.
"Alice located the origin of the giant, there has to be a core filled with massive mana. You can see it cannot it?" Kiva directs his eyes to Alice.
"Eric, try to connect to the headquarters. The rest of the group stand clear, try to distract the giant from moving to human land. King and I will find The Spiders and Stephanie, just look pretty alright?." Kiva smiled as he explains the plan.
"What!? I am coming too!" Stephanie argued back. "I don't belong to your sector. I do what I what."
"Fine, Sector Seven move out." Kiva lifted himself up walking towards the giant as King and Alice followed.
Eric taps his smartwatch, trying to find a signal, but it was very unlikely for him to do with his weather. - System Hack: Disassemble - He chanted. His watch breaks into pieces of gears, falling on the ground. - Blueprint Mode - The gears emits out blue lines, connecting to each other, creating a transparent paper of blue light, allowing Eric to draw on to it.
Alice walks out as Kiva and King dissolve into purple particles of matters, while Stephanie commanded her group to cast spells attacking and distracting the giant. Staring at Alice, wondering how a 16-year-old girl could be useful.
Alice gazed her eyes onto the water giant. - Wisdom Eye - White lines of data appears in her eyes. - Search: Origin - Massive data transmitted into her head. Allowing her eyes to filter in a source of divine powers unlike hers. Destructive blue mana overflowed the heart of the monster, enabling her to see the Jewel of the Sea covered with riptides of rain.
Alice closed her eyes, chanting - Athena -
White dimension, flowing glass puzzle pieces. Searching Athena's memories for the Jewel of the Sea. Puzzle pieces disappearing one after another, only leaving one, single piece of memory. She taps into the puzzle piece, the white dimension changed, into the blue deep sea.
A woman and a man appear in Alice's vision, battling against each other. One wearing blue amour of the scales of dragons, carrying this trident spear. The other, having a red Chinese dress as if she was royalty. Trident to imperial staff, magic to magic, and gods against gods. Each strike shook the waters, crumbling the royal palace surrounding them.
As the battle continues on, Alice stands there watching the memory as a spirit. Until a majestic figure appears on to the scene. With her altering green, blue, grey, and gold eyes, she didn't walk toward the men, but instead, she turned her body towards Alice.
"The Jewel of the Sea is at the throne room. It has the powers of Poseidon and the god he is fighting. There are always two sides to things, especially power. Like Ying and Yang, the Jewel also has its good side, the side of harmony and peace of the sea." Athena's voice spoke.
"How do I stop that monster up there?" Alice asked.
"The sea giant is the power that Poseidon engraved in, you will need to awaken the other side. The power of Mazu, the protector of the sea." Athena noted.
Athena places her hand onto Alice's hips, dragging her so their body comes in contact. Athena's stares into Alice's eyes and pushes her lips onto hers. Alice captivated at the moment, as magic and mana flow into her mind and spirit. Their eyes shut down, as if time stopped, leaving an unforgettable image into her mind.
Alice opens her eyes, seeing the water giant walking towards her. She directs her eyes onto the sky. As she chanted.
The skies opened up a small blue light shine upon Alice. Mana overflowed into her, forming a three meters spirit behind her. Alice lifts her hands, the spirit also does the same.
The spirit sang, so does Alice, her beautiful voice calmed the seas. Thunder stop, the rising tides died and the storm disappeared. She transfers herself into Alice's body as if she was taking over hers.
Alice walked towards the water giant, releasing an aura unlike her own. The water raised above, gathering around her beneath creating a vortex rising Alice above to the heart of the monster.
Her sad emptiness eyes gazed at the water giant. "The Jewel of the Sea. How long have I wondered where you are." Her enchanting voice calmed the giant down as if she could talk to it.

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
