“Hello, have you been waiting long?”
“No, I just got here.”
Light’s face seems expectant. She is wearing some simple cleric clothes.
“Well, let me tell you about my plan. I’m thinking about creating a criminal organization.”
“Criminal?”
“Yeah, I thought it would be fun to play as the villains.”
“And what do you intend to do?”
I’ve thought a lot about it too. I just planned a little, I’ll think more about it in the way.
“We’ll steal from other guilds. The organization will move just on profit. I don’t plan on having a lot of people, it’ll be just the two of us for now and if we met someone interesting, we’ll invite them.”
“It sounds fun.”
“Yeah, and we can make an evil den with the money we steal. We’ll become so powerful that even the main guild will fear us.”
“That sounds amazing. What would be my job?”
“You’ll be my partner, like in the superhero's movies. You’re a cleric, right?”
“Yeah.”
“You’ll support me with your spells and I’ll kill the players.”
“Count me in.”
She seems very happy. I think she liked her role. She still has some dangerous parts but, if I’m not the one affected, I don’t care what she does. When I got out of White Ink. I used to think I wanted to help everyone, but after meeting Lynda, I discovered that I just care about those important to me.
“So, let’s begin. We don’t have a lot of money for now, but I prepared a lot of things so we can make our first robbery.”
“Do we have a name for the organization?”
“yes, it’ll be “White hand”. I’ll tell you about the plans on the way, just follow me.”
“Fine.”
..
We are in front of a simple house. We make sure nobody is looking in our direction. I take a ladder out of the pouch; it amazes me how a ladder can fit in such a little pouch. We use the ladder and get to the rooftop. The house just has one floor but the building on the back of the house has two. We use the ladder again and we get to the rooftop of the building on the back. It’s the building of “Golden foul, a small guild of about 30 people.
“This is the thing I told you about.”
“Wow.”
I showed Light a small metal sphere. I get prepared and I hit the floor with all I have. After some hits the floor gets a little opening. I pour energy into the sphere and I throw it through the hole. I take some distance from the place. I hear some voices coming from the floor below, suddenly, an explosion destroys a big part of the floor and ceiling. I take a look from the newly created hole and I can see the first and second floor at the same time from the rooftop. I jump from the rooftop and I catch Lynda who jumped after me. We are now in the warehouse of the clan. Three people enter from a door.

“What are you doing here!?” (guy 1)
“Lynda, cast a buff and take everything from here, I’ll fight.”
“Fine.”
Lynda casts a quick buff and begins grabbing things and putting them in space pouches as fast as she can.
“Hey stop them!” (guy 1)
They approach us running. The three of them are using swords, the most used weapon in the game.
“Take this!” (guy 2)
He’s going to use an ability. I’ve been learning a lot about abilities. I’ve fought with a lot of people too. I’ve reached the point where I can see, in their hearts, the ability they are going to use. It only works with abilities I’ve seen before. It works with abilities I’ve seen in internet too. When somebody uses an ability that I haven’t seen before, I only perceive a little about the activation
Guy 2 swings his sword and it shoots an energy line. I dodge it easily. I run at them too as I use Skywalk. I dodge all of the abilities they throw me and I grab guy 2. I lift and throw him to guy 3. Guy 1 tries to cut me but I dodge it and I hit him with my elbow in the face, his skull breaks easily, he should be dead. The other two guys are still trying to stand up. I reach them and I just cut their throat easily. I’ve got better at using my abilities. I use them by reflex now. They should level soon.
“Are you finished, Lynda.”
“Almost, give me a minute.”
“Ok.”
I hear a lot of footsteps on the other side of the door. I run at the door and I open it. There are like 10 guys running at us. I take another bomb from my pouch and I throw it through the door. I close the it and I get away from it. I hear an explosion and a lot of screams. It should have killed or incapacitate most of them.
“I’m finished.”
“Alright, come.”
I take the ladder from my pouch and we use it to get to the rooftop again. I look down and see some people entering the warehouse in a hurry. I yell at them.
“We are “White hand” and we wish you a good night.”
“Bye.”
Light says goodbye too. They just look at us speechless. We have to get out of here before they reach us. We get down in front of the simple house and run out of the place. We just have to run from the players, the guards don’t get into players problem, they just take care of the NPC shops.

“Haha, that was very easy. We just stole about 700,000 bits and if we can sell all the other equipment and miscellaneous things, we can get around 400,000 bits more.”
“Well, those are the savings of around 30 people. But you know, we’ll use most of the money to build our base. we’ll need at least 10 million bits to get the base going.”
“That’s true, I want my own room and a swimming pool... a hall for parties would be fine too, we should get a training room and a torture chamber...”
I feel shivers in my back again. why does she need a torture chamber? I don’t want to know.
“Uhm... now that I think about it. How did you come up with blowing the ceiling with bombs?”
“Well, you see...”
…
I’m eating in a restaurant. I’m coming with ways to improve my food. There are two loud players eating in the table next to me.
“Why did you fight with the guild master?”
“I gave him a suggestion and he told me that I was stupid.”
“What did you tell him?”
“Well, we were building the warehouse for our guild. Do you know about magic hardening in walls?”
“Yeah, it’s very expensive, isn’t it?”
“Yes. Normally you only use it on the warehouse due to the price. When we were doing it, our guild master only used it on the four walls of the warehouse.”
“And what’s the problem?”
“I told him to use it on the ceiling too. He said that no guild uses it on the ceiling. I said “But what if someone comes from the rooftop”. He told me that I was stupid. I get his point, but when he told me that I was stupid, I got pretty heated up, so I fought him and now I’m suspended from “Golden foul”.”
“Wow, you’re quite short tempered.”
That’s interesting. Should I try to enter their warehouse from the ceiling? I don’t think it is possible with my current strength to break the ceiling in fast enough. I walked out of there with that in my mind.
“Hello pretty boy, do you want to try anything from this master alchemist?”
A strange looking guy approaches me while going out of his shop. He looks like a crazy scientist from a movie I watched. He has some interesting things in his shop. I’ll just ask.
“Hi, what’s that?”
“It’s a smoke bomb, you can use it to escape any fights.”
Oh, I can surely use them in my robberies.
“That’s useful, do you have some kind of powerful explosive to destroy walls?”
“Hmm... I may have what you need, follow me.”
I follow him inside of his shop and we go through a door behind the counter. We enter an extremely big room; he should have used some kind of space magic to make it this big.
“You see, I was trying to create a ball that contained a lot of energy, so when you need it, you could take some out of the ball. Like a mana potion but without the need to drink anything. The problem is that any type of energy is very unstable, so when I tried to compress a lot of energy in a small ball, it exploded and I was instantly killed. I was searching for an alternative in mana potions but at that moment I knew. I’ve found something amazing. since that moment, I’ve been making all types of bombs. The one who started everything is this one.”
He grabs a metal ball from a near table, pours a little energy and he throws the ball far away. What!? It explodes in an amazingly big radius. The explosion expanded for 200 meters. It almost reached us.
“That’s my biggest bomb, I can give you a smaller version if you only need to explode some rooms.”
“I would appreciate it.”
“I’m Harmless by the way.”
“I’m Chrys.”
“Ah, what a beautiful name.”
I accept the friend invitation from him. He’s a little weird but I don’t think he has bad intentions.
…
“From there I bought some things and searched for a way to get in the ceiling.”
“That explains a lot.”
“Well, we need to do some things so let’s get going.”
“Fine.”

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
