《Rising of the Red Tide》Chapter 6 (Part 2)

Han Xin reviewed the security tapes that his soldiers had brought to him of the NSA battle scanning for every little detail. His lieutenants were also scanning through the footage.
"Why don't we have an AI for this?" Han asked his lieutenants.
"We hadn't thought we would need such a thing, but we certainly can quickly make ..." Qi Lee began to answer.
"Don't bother, the three of us can search. Here, look here, what is that?" Han asked.
The three of them looked intently at what Han had discovered.
"What did I tell you? Qi Lian, right there. And where Lian is, so too is Qi Wei."
Han began fast forwarding the video stream. He switched through several camera streams to get the angle he was looking for.
"Qi Lian and her big heart, couldn't let a poor little innocent bystander be killed. That is her weakness, and that is why she will be crushed." Han said aloud.
"Qi Jiguang find me this man's information." Han said pointing to Clayton.
"Yes sir, I am on it." Jiguang answered.
Qi Jiguang began typing furiously upon his portable keyboard, which was wirelessly attached to digital device containing the video files.
"I have broken the NSA firewall sir and gained access to his employee file. Passing it over to you now."
"Hmm this is quite interesting, ironic even. It appears that Mr. Clayton Johnson was trying to ascertain details about the program. He is about to have all of the information that he needs." Han mused.
Han continued to scan through the video feed, but was quickly interrupted by Qi Lee.
"Sir you will want to take a look at this." She said.
Han looked at the screen that had been passed to him by Lee.

"That car are you able to get a close up of the plates?"
"Already done sir, and you were right Qi Wei was there." Qi Lee explained.
"Excellent work. Lets track down the plates."
"Entering into the database now sir" Qi Lee said.
"Sir it appears this Clayton Johnson had some sniper training before he entered fieldwork for the NSA." Qi Jiguang said.
"That is certainly an important piece of information Jiguang. We will have to tread carefully when we get close."
"Sir I have the GPS coordinates of the vehicle, it appears to be stationary at the moment."
"How long of a head start do they have on us?" Han asked.
"About an hour and a half." Qi Lee answered.
"No doubt they have abandoned the vehicle, Qi Lian is too smart to carry on with it for too long. No matter, we will begin our search there. Gather the group so that we can go hunting." Han ordered.
"Um sir, there seems to be a complication." Qi Jiguang stated.
"Oh what is that?"
"The President during his message was signing Code Blue throughout the entire broadcast. Apparently the entire news media has picked up on it. What should we do?" Jiguang asked.
"Are our troops out of the White House?"
"Yes sir" Qi Jiguang and Qi Lee answered in unison.
"Then there is nothing to worry about. Tell them to continue on with their portion of the mission. Let the American government run around like a chicken with its head cut off while we work. For good measure get a small team together to locate and destroy any footage of our assault. That should slow them down for long enough to complete the mission."
"I will assemble the team sir." Qi Jiguang said.

"Good. I don't know what Code Blue is, but I am not worried in the slightest. The only thing we have left to worry about is Qi Lian at this point. What are the Americans going to do? Activate troops? The program will crush them just like it did the NSA, the CIA and the secret service. But Qi Lian is a danger. She has something up her sleeve I am sure of it. We must find her and crush her little ragtag team she has assembled."
"Yes sir, the team is ready to move out on your command." Qi Lee said.
"OK then lets go hunting." Han said.
With that Han walked confidently toward his vehicle. He stopped briefly to look around at the city surrounding him. The people around him had no clue their lives were about to change forever. It made him chuckle to himself.
"Poor pathetic fools" Han whispered to himself.
And with that he got into his car and drove off to begin his search for Qi Lian and company.
