Justo ahora la fortaleza funcionaba de una manera adecuada, si bien no sería capaz de detener un ejército en condiciones, por lo menos serían capaces de dar pelea, mientras Adrion pensaba la manera adecuada de recompensar a los campeones, termino por toparse con alguien.
―Mi señor.
Atsuki y sus guardias se arrodillaron al momento de notar a su señor dirigirse hacia ellos, en el poco tiempo que Adrion estuvo en contacto con los campeones, logro hacerse con la idea de la relación que existían entre ellos.
Los campeones lo respetaban como su señor, siguiendo la jerarquía militar correspondiente, él no lograba acostumbrarse a esto, pero actuaría por el bien de mantener el equilibrio en esta relación.
―Atsuki de pie.
―Mi señor si me permite preguntar, ¿qué lo trae a estas zonas del palacio?
Esta pregunta estaba un poco fuera de lugar, Adrion era el señor de la fortaleza, él podría ir y venir a donde quisiera en el momento que le pareciera, la razón de esta pregunta tan extraña era el área donde se encontraban, estaban muy cerca del exterior.
―No es necesario que te preocupes Atsuki, solo saldré a tomar un poco de aire, no planeo ir más afuera.
Atsuki simplemente estaba preocupada de que Adrion terminara por marcharse de la misma manera que la última vez.
―Lamento haberlo molestado con mi tonta pregunta.
―No te preocupes por eso, ¿de casualidad estarás libre en este momento?
Aunque Adrion aún no estaba seguro acerca si podía o no confiar por completo en los campeones, pero creía que, si trabajaba lo suficiente, lograría ganarse su confianza e incluso su amistad.
―En este momento no me encuentro especialmente ocupada.
Atsuki cruzo los dedos entre sus manos mientras miraba a Adrion tímidamente.
―Si están bien con esto, ¿quisieras acompañarme?
―¡Por supuesto!
Adrion contuvo las ganas de reaccionar a la excesiva cantidad de energía que despedía la respuesta instantánea de Atsuki y se mantuvo lo más tranquilo que pudo.

―Bien, por favor acompáñame.
El sequito incremento con la unión de Atsuki y sus guardias, los guardias caminaban al fondo, delante de ellos se encontraban las sirvientas y por delante de estas Atsuki. Todos ellos detrás de Adrion.
Adrion se sintió ligeramente decepcionado cuando Atsuki camino detrás de él y no a su lado, eso marcaba el claro muro que existía entre ellos.
El destino de Adrion se encontraba en el mismo sitio al que se dirigió al momento de entrar al juego, la terraza en la que la fortaleza podía verse casi al completo.
―Otra vez aquí.
Cerca de un mes había pasado desde que Adrion fue encerrado en este mundo, pero su conocimiento no había incrementado de una manera significativa, exploradores fueron enviados a reconocer los terrenos cercanos, pero no encontraron más que árboles y criaturas de baja inteligencia.
Los únicos que lograron conseguir algo de información útil fueron los espías y asesinos dirigidos por Painappuri, aunque esto sonara bastante desagradable al primero momento, lo único que hicieron fueron encantar a unos aldeanos que se separaron lo suficiente para poder llevárselos sin generar sospechas. Después de eso se hicieron unas preguntas que fueran medianamente útiles y a continuación los dejaron volver a su pueblo sin causar ningún daño.
La información dada por uno que otro aldeano era bastante pobre, el conocimiento al que tenía acceso estaba muy limitado, la tecnología de este mundo estaba cercana a la era conocida como la edad media, claro esto combinado con la magia, dando una rara combinación de retraso en algunos aspectos y la mejora de otros.
Se podría decir que la recolección de información fue de utilidad sin duda, pero lo que uno podía aprender a través de unos informes no era completamente fiable, si uno quería aprender de verdad, tenía que hacerlo de primera mano.

―Atsuki dime, ¿qué piensas de los informes recibidos por Painappuri?
―Painappuri siempre ha sido el mejor en la recolección de información, sus habilidades nunca han sido cuestionadas.
―No me refiero a eso, ¿la información no te resulta confusa?
Atsuki se quedó pensando un breve momento antes de contestar.
―¿Se refiere a nuestra ubicación?
Adrion asintió, ese era el principal problema, si bien la información de los aldeanos era de dudosa veracidad, después de interrogar a varios, una respuesta verdadera debería ser encontrada, pero la respuesta a la que se llego era simplemente absurda.
Los nombres de algunas naciones eran extrañamente conocidos para Adrion, mientras que otros eran totalmente desconocidos, ¿estaba o no dentro del mundo del juego? Era la pregunta que más dudas le traían a Adrion, ¿cómo era posible que unos nombres coincidieran mientras que otros eran totalmente extraños? Sin la respuesta a esta pregunta no lograría ubicarse en este nuevo mundo.
―¿Por qué no viene nadie?
Esa pregunta no estaba dirigida a nadie en particular, solo al mismo Adrion, no solo sus enemigos no habían aparecido en todo este tiempo, tampoco ningún aliado se mostró, ¿cuál era la razón de esto?
Adrion había llegado a una conclusión, no encontraría las respuestas a estas preguntas dentro de la fortaleza o escrito en un informe, no podía permanecer escondido en la fortaleza mucho más tiempo, tenía que salir a ver el mundo por sí mismo.
Ninguna guerra se gana solo defendiendo, parece que es hora de expandir las operaciones.

In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore.
