The forest at night would normally be seen as terrifying, especially this one, if ill prepared you could wonder straight into the jaws of a semi-divine beast, which were known to be in these woods, but that was only the initial fright, the real deal begins when you enter the forest, the deeper in you went the more it felt like you had a piercing gaze set upon you, through the darkness you could feel their pressure coldly creep up and weigh down on our shoulders, and if you were vigilant enough, you could catch a glimpse of those piercing fierce red lust filled eyes peering through the quiet darkness at you,

however that didn’t apply to Aluric, he knew that there wasn’t anything that could threaten him, at the moment, to him this forest seemed tranquil, it calmness harmonized with its darkness, making aluric feel at ease,

to him he was in his own world, apart from everyone else’s, and that was most apparent to the three who were following behind,

“umm kiara, I know you said that we would be safe in this forest, especially with him, leading us, but I can’t help this feeling that I’m being watched”, Serene complained, as she practically glued herself to kiara’s side,

kiara though fond of her new, and strongest student, still couldn’t help but feel annoyed as she wanted to use this time to cozy up to Aluric, so because she couldn’t she decided to cure her boredom she would lightly mess with serene,

“if you’re feeling that way that’s probably because, something out there realized you’re the weakest out of the four of us, and is probably salivating at the thought of eating you”, Kiara told her, grinning ear to ear as her student clung even tighter onto her,

“of course that thing wouldn’t even dream of attacking any of us, simply because we are in the presence of our great guildmaster here”, she continued, with her gaze fixating on Aluric,

“hey don’t forget that I’m also here to “, pix stated,

“yeah yeah, but it’s not like you being here goes towards keeping those wild beasts away from us, that’s all thanks to master aluric”, kiara continued, with even more praise,

“oh really, so me putting out this constant wall of Divine Energy, isn’t, doing anything at all now is it, Aluric is literally doing nothing”,pix snapped back at her, beng annoyed at how much she was praising aluric,

“that just lends to how great he is, the mere fact that you need to protect yourself means you are”, Kiara stopped after hearing Aluric’s voice,

“stop, we’re here, so you three go and hide”, Aluric ordered,

all three of them dispersed at once,

Aluric continued, his seemingly peaceful walk, within the darkness, and as he walked out of the darkness into a small patch where the moonlight shined through, he came face to face with his older brother,

“so you actually decided to come alone Amon”, Aluric stated, as he stared down his older brother,

“that’s surprising, you normally don’t go any where without that big oaf, and that snivelling spy closely behind, even if you are told to not bring them,”, Aluric continued, as a feint grin peeled across his face,

“sorry to disappoint you, but krio is off somewhere right now, and well Bard never did like you”, amon retorted,

“not to mention that that’s rich coming from you, I was about ninety percent convinced that by now I would’ve been surrounded by those four lackeys you call pillars”, Amon continued, forcing a smile across his face,

“if I brought all four of them plus me that wouldn’t be any fun now would it”, Aluric continued,

“ohh that’s at least what you need to entertain me, the only one of any value out of them is pix, and he’s a stray you brought back home after a mission, oh wait or is it Ea that he’s loyal to”, Amon wickedly retorted,

“oh want to try saying that again, brother”,Aluric stated, the divine energy started to swell and radiate off of him,

“is that a threat, little Brother, my powers might be weaker than yours in a one on one, but against you I don’t need them”, Amon commented, his hand now resting on the purple hilt of his sword,

“please you wouldn’t be so brave if it weren’t for those two hiding close by”, Aluric stated,

Amon gripped his Sword tightly as those words left Alurics mouth, he could feel his anxiousness rise, but it quickly subsided as he regained composure,

“Guys come on out”, Amon shouted, leading Bard and Yumi to come out from their hiding places,

“now tell those three with you to come out”, Amon demanded of Aluric,

“it’s stupid how similar we are to each other”, Aluric stated to his brother,

Kiara and Serene appeared from out of the darkness, while Pix appeared, up in the trees, in the feint moonlight, you could see those orange eyes reflecting off of it,

“Amon you’ve certainly become bold since I last saw you”, Pix stated, the divine energy uncontrollably pouring off of him, as he had heard the comments made towards him earlier,

“stay out of this, the important people are talking”, Amon replied to Pix, choosing to ignore the divine energy pouring off of pix,

“ look I am here to offer you a chance at surrendering now before this leads to anymore bloodshed”,Aluric proposed to Amon,

“ohh, so now you care about bloodshed, Spare me the Bullshit”, Amon responded, he could feel the searing pent up frustration at his brother, rise to the surface,

“Amon I’m serious, if me, you and Ea, stand together we would be stronger than any other foe out there”, Aluric Pleaded with his brother,

“Of course you would involve Ea, he’s out for nothing but power”, Amon stated,

“ Well so am I, if only you knew what was knocking on our front door, or the future that stood in front of us, you would be jumping to help us”, Aluric shouted back at Amon,

“whatever it is that’s coming for us I’m sure you and Ea probably willingly invited it”, Amon retorted back at him,

Aluric gave pause, he stood still realizing that he let his emotions get the better of him, after all he was dealing with his older brother, the one person who had been always looking out for him, he inhaled and took a deep breath, recomposing himself,

“Well I came here knowing that it was highly likely that you wouldn’t agree with me”, Aluric explained to Amon,

Chills ran down Amon’s spine, he always found the way how Aluric would regain his composure so quickly to be very disturbing,

“so I sent a present to your base, enjoy the surprise when you go back”, Aluric finished explaining, hearing this left a sinking feeling in the pit of Amon’s stomach, he knew that when Aluric wanted something he would stop at no cost to get it,

“i’ll see you in two days time Brother”, Aluric stated, as he turned around and disappeared back into the darkness,
