Yumi walked over to a giant object covered by an equally large piece of cloth which draped over it, and with one tug she pulled the cloth off of it revealing a giant glass ball, it was massive almost reaching the top of the high walls that surrounded the training area,
"i'm sure many of you are wondering what this is", Bard shouted over the crowd,
"this giant glass ball was designed to measure the amount of divine energy stored within ones body", Bard continued to explain, as he walked over to the giant glass ball,
He placed his hand on the surface of the glass ball, and after a couple of seconds it began to emit a golden glow, after that what seemed like a golden liquid appeared from the bottom of the glass ball, and with every passing second it began to fill the empty space inside, until eventually it stopped almost three quarters of the way to the top of the ball,
"Now from what me, yumi and amon have discussed, all four of the pillars would be able to fill this ball completely, which means that the minimum requirement is that you have to be able to fill this completely", Bard shouted as he continued to explain to everyone there,
the people in the crowd had mixed reactions. Some where worried while some were excited, that of course went for the four boys standing in the back, Barak and Levant seemed excited, while Aster had his hand on his chin lost in deep thought and Polaris just seemed to be spaced out and oblivious to what was going on,
" so who wants to be up first ?", Bard asked shouting the question to the entire crowd,
After a brief moment of complete silence, many people in the crowd started to approach the stage, wanting to see just how strong they were compared to the others around them, though many of them also left and went to the area where the food and the drinks were,

After a while, many people had been tested, though most were barely able to get the ball half full, they were some promising ones who got it close to where bard's one was,
Levant was standing with his back on the wall and his arms folded, he had had a look of impatience in his eyes for a while now, but he also nervous,
Aster noticed the look of impatience in his eyes, and had been glancing at Levant constantly,
"got something to say aster ?", Levant asked, after aster had glanced at him again,
Aster got up from crouching on the ground, and dusted off his clothes,
"if you want to go just go, don't wait for us to be ready", aster told Levant,
" I have a better idea how about you go before me", Levant replied to aster,
"Uggghhhh..... i've had enough waiting on one of us to go, I'll go first", Barak stated as he marched off towards the stage,
"who the hell ruffled his feathers", Levant asked,
" he's probably is itching for a fight", aster added,
"why would that even be the case ?", Levant asked,
" I can feel the excitement radiating off of him, every since he met that guy earlier, it felt as though he was itching to fight him", Aster suggested, pointing towards Bard who stood on the stage, with a note pad in hand,
Barak marched onto the stage, his face had a look of annoyance on it, his walked made him seem extremely angry, as he approached the glass ball, yumi had a puzzled look on her face, and many on lookers had wondered who this person was, Barak stood in front of the giant glass ball and placed his hand on the surface, within and instant the ball glowed brighter than ever before and it filled just as fast, reaching all the way to the top completely filling it, everyone looked shocked as he was the first person to fill it completely, but the most excited were the other three boys in the back,

"damn that filled up quick, didn't it Aster", Levant commented,
"Aster", Levant said again, but Aster had began to make his way to the stage ,
Barak removed his hand from the ball and immediately after Aster appeared on the stage, he walked right pass Barak with a grin across his face, he placed his hand on the ball and just as fast as Barak's filled so did aster's,
Now everyone was even more shocked than before, some were bordering confused, Barak was still on the stage looking at aster's result and now a grin spread across his face also, Aster walked towards Barak and the two headed off the stage back into the crowd, in which everyone was now peering at them, some in awe and some in envy, as they were headed through the crowd Polaris walked pass them his head down and his eyes low, he didn't even acknowledge them, as he headed for the stage,
Levant who was the only one left, stood at the back of the training area where the others had left him, holding his palm to his face,
" I swear, the he wants to fight just as much as he said Rak does", Levant commented out loud to himself, However when he brought his focus back onto the stage, he saw Polaris walking onto it,
Polaris had entered onto the stage, his mind on his thoughts, he was worried that he would have been the only out of the four of them that didn't fill the ball completely, and so he decided to rush up there before Levant, he reached the ball, and placed his hands on it, he could see the glow from the ball, but his head was still low and his eyes were pointed to the ground, as he couldn't look at the results of the reading,
Then he felt a hand on his shoulder,
"how long are you planning on standing there, it's already filled", Levant said,
Polaris held up his head to see the ball filled, and with a look of content in his eyes, he walked off the stage,
Levant was the last to place his hand on the ball, but due to seeing the other three, fill the ball completely he seemed a bit to excited, this excitement caused him to let go of some of the restraint on his powers, and the stage had started to become heated, and just as he expected the results were the same as the other three, as he had completely filled the all of the ball

Grimm Tales: A RWBY Story
Two years after losing everything, two sisters will try to rebuild the lives they one had, as well as mend the heartache left behind through their connection with the many strange cast of characters they meet, and the many strange story's they're caught up in. Grimm Tales is a RWBY fan fiction I wrote and illustrated from 2014 through 2016. Keep that in mind when experiencing the story and the art within it. Also keep in mind that this story is technically unfinished. I put this aside in October of 2016 after completing what you can call the "first season" of what was going to be a multipart series. Even though the entire story remains unfinished, things do end in a somewhat satisfactory manner.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Unlimited Potential
While walking into the kitchen on the evening of his eighteenth birthday, Jamie finds himself in a forest on the world of Alzradis. It's a world with status screens and Classes, and he's only begun looking through them when someone approaches him. Adam is a rather attractive Demihuman of the draconic variant, and he's on his way to a nearby town to go through its Dungeon for Experience. He invites Jamie along and introduces him to how the System works, revealing that being summoned randomly isn't uncommon. Jamie finds the idea of getting to be a wizard a dream come true, and the fact that he has a special bonus that will help him become powerful faster than normal in a world where gaining Skills isn't easy only makes things better. He quite literally has unlimited potential, it's a better world than the life he had on Earth, and he did meet an attractive guy within a minute of arriving. Why would he want to leave? Harem Tag: There will be a harem for sure, I just don't know how many guys will be in nor what species of person any other than two will be. Slice-of-Life and Adventure: this story will have periods of slice-of-life and periods of adventure, so it's technically fitting into both genres. Expect some faster adventure scenes, and slower slice-of-life scenes all mixed in. Posting Schedule: -on hiatus until I figure out this scene-

Winter Fire [ Book 1 ] ✔
On the second jump, Claire's bad leg gave way and she felt herself tumbling forward. A cry of surprise escaped her and Claire was certain she was about to topple off the side of the train. Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown. "You could have fallen," he said pointedly."I know," Claire breathed, finding her thoughts drifting to the strong arm wrapped around her waist. A flush rose to her cheeks and she was grateful for the biting wind that masked her reaction. "Thank you.""You need to be more careful," he continued, his eyes locked on hers, bright and haunting in the silver glow of the moon overhead."I will," Claire assured him, her heart skipping in her chest.
