Thank you for reading until this point. This is not a chapter. I just want to share my opinion after writing this far.

I plan to write something like an afterword every twenty or so chapters, so please bear with me...

What? You can only write afterword in a published book?

...well, besides an afterword, I plan on writing the character introduction because I am sure I will forget a lot of things. Moreover, although I said that it is an afterword, it is more like an author's rant and besides, no one will read an afterword after all...

Moving on. My pen name and the MC name are the same. It was because of my lack of foresight... and the creativity to create a cool name. I admit that I don't have any idea what kind of pen name I should use, so, well, that happens.

And so, the MC in the story, Miracle Angeliva, is the projection of myself... is not entirely true. Unlike me, the MC in the story is smart and kind of popular, which I am not. I only projected the weird name part and the part where we couldn't talk to other people. And I think there are a lot of people that can't talk to other people, even though we are not shy. I don't know, it's just I find that talking is, well, sometimes I just don't want to talk without any reason. Even if I have a reason, I only talk in a precise manner and try to use fewer words, though not to the point of only use one or two words.

The story came to me when I was reading an isekai novel... that has nothing to do with this story. Well, that is true, but at that time, I thought that I rarely read isekai or fantasy stories with contemporary settings. There are some, but few compared to isekai stories. Or maybe, it's because of my lack of interest in anything other isekai stories? I don't know, I just thought that a fantasy story in a contemporary setting will be good. I don't plan on writing a science-fiction though, just a fantasy story in a contemporary setting. I want to write about the war between humans and elves vs goblins, ogres, and orcs!

But that wouldn't be a contemporary setting, would it?

That is why, I change the antagonist from goblins and their friends into ghosts and evil spirits. Unfortunately, only a few people can see ghosts, so, a war against ghosts is not something I could write now...

So, I write the struggle of a certain girl who can see ghosts. I want to give her the ability not only to see ghosts but also 'menu' ability. So, she would have level, status, skills, and everything else, just like what I expect from an isekai novel but... that wouldn't make any sense. So, I reluctantly only gave her the ability to see ghosts.

I still have a plan to write this novel as a fantasy novel, by the way >.

By the way, I think this is a perfect place to give your opinion regarding this story. Please give a rating and/or a review so I can perhaps improve the story (no, I'm sure it will be difficult to improve writing style and story, though I will try my best!).

Miracle Angeliva

The main character of the story. High school girl. 15 years old. Short brown-colored hair. Her eyes are also brown. She has the ability to see spirits. Her personality is taciturn and calm. Height: 149 cm / 4'11". Weight: 39 kg / 86 lbs.

Raleigh Von Vlad

Another Main Character (secondary?) of the story. Ghost Hunter. 20 years old. Black hair-color. Black eyes-color. Ordinary-looking man. He has the ability to see ghosts. Personality is cautious. Height: 172 cm / 5'7''. Weight: 57 kg / 125 lbs.

Zed

A ghost. ??? years old. Normally, it has a pale blue color. It has the ability to absorb weak spirits and transform its body. It like to talk and can talk about anything in the world. It wandered the world to fill its boredom until it met Mir. Height: Transformable. Weight: weightless.

Orion

A student from the same school as Mir. 15 years old. Red hair-color. Brown eyes-color. The oldest son of a game company president. An otaku. Height: 164 cm / 5'5''. Weight: 53 kg / 116 lbs.

Mir's Mother (Tanya)

34 years old. Long brown hair-color. Brown eyes-color. A gentle and loving mother. Height: 164 cm / 5'5''. Weight: 49 kg / 108 lbs.
