The Royal Palace, Kingdom of Alasteria, Floreal 12th, 9AM

Carolus II has been sitting on his throne watching his Royal Advisors do the work as he is not even yet ready to rule. This has come to a price as the corruption within his Royal Advisors led to much of the Kingdom's treasury squandered causing poverty and instability. Factions have also been active at this point as they are vying to control the King and implement their plans when the King gains approval in one of these factions.

And then, An advisor approaches the King with something to report

"Your Majesty, The Kingdom's economy is faltering and the people are getting upset! We must do something about this."

The advisor said in disbelief as the Kingdom now has pressing issues that it needs to be solved before the Kingdom could plunge into chaos and fall into a civil war.

"I see... Then what should do Advisor Orel?"

The king replied as he is neutral in matters and that he is too inexperienced and easily-swayed to lead the country as the King's decision may lead mostly to disastrous consequences with some of his previous decisions being positively well met.

"I suggest we have to make peace with the Duchy as our war with them has further strained our economy and -"

Another advisor came and interrupted him bringing a new solution

"Levy the Taxes and Tariffs! That way, our economic situation will be done and further deploy more soldiers at settlements if the people hate us. We'll also continue the war with the traitorous Duchy."

Advisor Lauri said to the king as this might make the Kingdom increasingly authoritarian but its for the best that it could save the economy at the cost of the populace's satisfaction and foreign relations especially those with the Independent Kingdoms and the Kingdom of Opulentos.

"I'll agree with Advisor Lauri, Impose new taxation policies on the populace and increase tariffs and continue the war"

The king replied as Advisor Orel shocked by the King's approval of this outrageous policy has voiced his opposition and said.

"Thank you your majesty"

Advisor Lauri said to the King as his proposal managed to be passed by the Monarch personally and then Orel voice opposition of Lauri's proposal and he said to the King

"Your Majesty, We can't levy further taxes and tariffs, Sure it'll make our economy grow but will further dissatisfy the people and-"

He got interrupted by the King as if he just brushed off that concern.

"No, My decision is final if that is the case no ifs and buts! If you have more issues, bring it up immediately."

The king said with anger as Advisor Orel has no choice but to concede. However for Orel, He also has something to say.

"Your Majesty, This may not be an issue but a rumor that has been spreading across the Kingdom and a Dragon has appeared."

The advisor said in a tone where he is doubtful as he didn't believe in those rumors until it spread across the Kingdom

"What? I thought the Dragon is hibernating! Explain it to me what is that dragon doing during Hibernation day?"

The king shocked at this said in disbelief wondering why that dragon isn't even its in Hibernation phase.

"They said the dragon is described as large with a grey color with what it looks like some sort of stick in its wings... According to those what they said and they said it was flying off West for unknown reasons."

Orel said as what the rumors said that a Dragon appeared of all things during the Hibernation of the Dragon as that seemed out of the place for a Dragon.

"If there is a Dragon sighting, Then we must chase it down and kill it with our Special Warriors before it returns to the Kingdom again!"

Lauri said with a much confident tone knowing that these Special Warriors are able to pin a Dragon down with ease without ever needing intervention from the Royal Knights.

"Indeed, Let's chase it down before it becomes a threat."

The King said agreeing to what Lauri suggested whilst Orel felt slightly dejected not wanting to speak another word of opposition as he knows that the King is easily swayed by the most influential people while he is just a commoner back then.

Port Fluctus, Kingdom of Alasteria, Floreal 12th, 12NN

As the King called for the Mobilization of its Navy and the Special Warriors to hunt down the said dragon sighted fleeing West, The Special Warriors had arrived at the Port as it surprisingly comprised of black haired people which is a unique sight for the Alasterians with their blonde hair and blue eyes like those from an average British bloke. One of them is Fuji Nakamura who is Japanese and apparently got transported here to another world alongside with 4 other people like Kenji Miyamura, Kaede Tsubasa, Hoshino Takahashi, and Angel Kobayashi as they are the core of the Special Warriors.

"Man its been several months after we warded off that Dragon back then and can't wait to scare or kill me some dragons again!"

The muscular man named Kenji Miyamura said as he was inching a fight a dragon again and since he is a tank, He is a confident much and wants much action again since he back then contributed in shielding the other Special Warriors.|

"Calm down there big man, We know this is the second time to fight a dragon again since 7 months ago."

The Hero Fuji Nakamura said calmly as he is serious what dragon are they gonna face with the description being large and grey...

"Dragons in the month of Floreal? I thought those large beasts are in hibernation."

Angel Kobayashi said in doubt as she is a bookworm and had researched about the Dragon's cycle of living as they are often going to burn down settlements in a span of Brumaire to Fructidor and then rest from Nivose to Vendemiaire.

"Now that I think about it, It seems kinda off for a dragon to appear this month."

Kaede said agreeing with Angel's statement as it was kinda off for a dragon to appear in Floreal which is 3 months before the Dragon wakes up again and devastates the rural population.

"Whatever girls, It doesn't matter when dragons sleep but it matters when Dragons start appearing and they said its large and grey."

Kenji said with pride strongly present in his mind.

"Come on Kenji, We know you are eager for some action and-"

Angel was interrupted by the Hero before she could finish her 'lecture'

"Can you guys both shut your mouths, It doesn't really matter why the dragon flew this month and we must focus on our mission. Now we are to slay or ward off that dragon and mission accomplished! Got it?"

The Hero said in a confident and heroic-like voice that it riled up his team that they are so excited

"YES SIR!"

They shouted in Unison and its just in time that the dockmaster has called for the Special Warriors to board one of the ships.

"Hey you kids, Get on the boat now, Ship reserved for you heroes is leaving in 5 minutes!"

The dockmaster shouted to the Special Warrior group as it is time for the group to leave in a voyage to pin or kill the dragon in the west.

"We're on it sir"

The hero replied back to the dockmaster as his team is now ready to embark on a trip to kill this 'dragon'

as the hero turned on to his team mates and said to them.

"Everyone Ready?"

The hero said to his team mates fired up to do this very mission to subdue the dragon.

"Hell yeah, I am born ready to fight!"

Kenji said with pride

"Yes siree!"

Tsubasa said as the others nodded in agreement too showing off their weapons and tools signifying that they are

ready for some action.

And there, They have boarded their own ship and finally set sail alongside with the rest of the Alasterian Navy which is comprised of 22 Sloops and 52 Galleons of which they are armed with magical cannons to which it was a new invention by the Kingdom designed to destroy ships by blowing much holes for the enemy ship to be out of action and also to outmatch the Duchy Navy which has a larger fleet than the Kingdom.
