February 6, 2945, Saturday
Hello readers,
Sorry for the late updates, but I have been really busy this week. Busy with what? Exams and school. The school is still trying to clean up my previous incident. Apparently, my teacher and mom are having a discussion of sending me to a counseling session for anger management. Why? Obvious, y because of M. I told them it isn’t my fault! I was just trying to cleanse the earth. To prove that I was sane and able to keep my feeling in check, they started a series of experiment to test my patience. Obviously, I managed to keep my emotions in check since I already overheard them discuss about the test. I mean they actually got people to “spill” water on me and see if I get angry or “eat” with their mouth open in front of me. It was hard, but I managed to hold it in!
As the adults they are, I can’t believe how ignorant they are to the dangers of stupidity. I mean have you thought why schools are ranked? Why schools look at test scores and Grade Point Average (GPA) to accept students? Obviously, these people understand the contagiousness of stupidity. The GPA and test scores are like a wall. It is used to separate stupid and smart people from each other. Although the GPA and test score are not always accurate, it is better than nothing. Just think, if a stupid person enters a smart academy, it is possible to increase their intellectual. People do get smarter over time. However, have you thought of the other case scenario? What if the stupid person enters a smart academy and spreads their stupid ideas everywhere that everyone believes in them? Although people get smarter over time, people can also get dumber.

How to spot a stupid person? Just look for one that radiates confidence. 90% of confident people are stupid, and only 10% are successful. As a smart person, everything should be questioned. You should be skeptical of everything you hear. Only with backings of numbers and facts can you believe in what you hear or see. In the early days, people used to believe the world was flat. I mean seriously? Flat? If you travel far enough in one direction, you will fall off of Earth. Thinking about it now, it’s silly, but back then everyone believed it. Why? The guy that started saying Earth was flat was so confident in his own words, everyone also believed him.
Humans are weak. It’s true! They give in to the majority easily and most succumbs to pressure. If you don’t believe me, give it a try! On a Friday, just go up to someone and say, “Today is Monday!” At first, they will be like, “No it’s not, today is Friday.” This is where you throw them off with your confidence! Just tell them, “No! You are wrong! Today is Monday! If you don’t believe me, check it up!” Instantly, in their mind, they will doubt themselves. They will think, is it actually Monday? Now obviously, if they search it up it will renew their confidence. However, as a successful Villain, you must never let them regain their confidence and keep them down.
Now you might question, “but J, you always speak so confidently!” That is because confidence is a double edge sword! In the hands of stupid people, it’s contagious and causes the birth of more stupid humans. In the hands of an intellectual like me, we create underlings. Underlings, followers, servants, how do you think they are formed? Through the teaching of a confident person. Let’s say there is a Muslim that does not eat pork. How do you convince them bacon is delicious? Obviously how things taste is up to personal preference. However, a confident person will be able to sway their opinion on the taste.

A confident person will say Bacon is delicious, and the Muslim who can’t eat pork will doubt it. They won’t believe you since they never tried it out. This is where a smart confident person and a stupid confident person shows their true nature. The Muslim will definitely doubt you and begin to research is Bacon delicious. A stupid person will have no clue and didn’t think of the aftermath. A smart person will actually rig the data. Before telling the Muslim bacon is delicious, he will look for people that thinks Bacon is delicious. Then, he will plant these people around the Muslim. Thus, you can go to the Muslim and say, “If you don’t believe me, ask those around you.” Here, the naïve Muslim will go around asking everyone, “Is Bacon delicious?” Obviously, they will all say yes. This in turn will sway the Muslim into believing Bacon is in-fact delicious.
Now why does it matter to make the Muslim believe Bacon is delicious? To make fun of him of course! As a successful Villain like myself, this is what I find fun in! After all the hard work to convince him bacon is delicious, I will take some bacon out and eat it in front of him! I will tell him, “Mmmmm, this is delicious! I would share it with you, but because of your religion, you CAN’T HAVE ANY!” Then you give him the look of pity and that’s where you feel more superior than him!
Now at this point, people will be like, “Wow J, you’re a dickhead!” I mean seriously? When you start reading my diary, did you expect me to be “saving people” or “feeling compassionate” toward them? Let me tell you this, everyone is born a villain! Heroes are just villain who doesn’t know they are villains! If you don’t even know your own true nature, how can you call yourself successful!
Next time, I will explain more in depth of why everyone is a villain.
The Smart, Intelligent, Confident, Superior,
J

The Book of Rune
If you like moderately well-researched semi-medieval military logistics with some fantasy twists, and also conspiracy, and exploration, and violence, and maybe a dash of road movie, hey, Ruen just might be your thing. Plot-wise, basically there's a guy who got fired by Death, a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and a slave general who wouldn't mind retiring but ended up on a mass suicide mission. If you were looking for a less TL;DR version, a guy who got fired by Death meets a kid with pyrotechnic tendencies, and they try to get the guy un-fired while also trying to come to terms with death together (ooohhhh, look, I'm deep). Meanwhile a slave general does something stupid and ends up being sent on a suicide mission, and he tries to wreak havoc and save lives at the same time. The threads come together, I swear. This is a rough draft of a fantasy semi-book that I've had in the back of my head for some time. I've written a variety of short stories set in the world over the past three years, and I finally kicked myself into writing the actual story. Very much a slow work in progress. Occasional violence (okay, well, maybe more than occasional), occasional foul language.
