There are multiple dimensions out there, every single one of them with each particularity. Some are boring, with beings made of jelly. Others are frightening with constant jumpscares. There are even dimensions made of peace, love, and hot cocoa, but nobody ever lived on them.
This is just another one.
In this one, in the distant year of 1950, a discovery changed completely how mankind perceived and connected to nature.
It all started with a renowned researcher named Dan Green.
After living with giant Galapagos turtles for more than 10 years, Dan formed a connection never made with an animal.
It happened on a regular day: While walking on the coast, he was surprised by a huge storm. With a gust of wind, his body was launched towards rock formations, causing multiple injures. After almost dying, his closest and dear friend, a giant turtle named Frank saved him by making a lifetime connection with the man.
They became one with each other. Their bodies, souls, and minds were connected. Their existence was linked until the end. With this contract formed, his life was saved, and he also gained some amazing skills.
After he went back to his hometown safe and sound, Mr. Green started a huge research program to understand better what happened to them.
He named the contract human-animal as Anilink.
Then, a few years later he started his own company, called Anitech, to develop a device to facilitate the connection between animals and humans.
The device became popular and changed the whole world.
The whole society, cities, and cultures were adapted to fit how the animals were part of the regular human life and spaces previously occupied only by men.
To teach how to deal with anilink responsibility and how to make the most of these amazing skills, human-animal connection academies were created for people interested in following the anilink way of life.
Whether as researchers, teachers, law enforcers, chefs, or any other way to use the anilink skills, the objective of HACAs is to form the best anilink users on earth.
This is the story of Samuel, a brand new HACA student.
One that NEVER connected with an animal.
