《The Strongest Evolver》Part 2

'So this is how this thing works,' Yi Yun stared at the glass-like object in his hands with shining eyes.
'With this thing, I don't have to eat raw liver or kidney either.'
From how John forced him to swallow the rabbit's liver directly, he guessed it couldn't be cooked. Doing so will probably cause the cells to die.
'Besides, this thing can take all the cells in a monster's body.'
He understood why the VOC had extracted 3 grams of cells.
In addition to the liver and kidneys, other body parts also contain cells, but they are too few and separated in various places, other people have to swallow the monster's whole body if they want to get all the cells. Of course, no one will do that.
'Now then I will transfer them to my body.'
"VOC, transfer the mountain lord rabbit skill to my body," he said in a very low voice.
He couldn't speak telepathically like the VOC did, so he just said it directly through his mouth.
[Order has been received, transfer the mountain lord rabbit skill.]
Ding...
(You have acquired a skill.)
(Name: Mountain lord rabbit.)
The sound of the system sounded in his head right after the VOC spoke. Because he didn't know where the voice came from, so he chose to call it a system sound. After all, it also seemed like a system.
Like before, he had also instantly mastered the skill called mountain lord rabbit.
The name of the skill sounded domineering, but it was actually just a skill to jump like a rabbit.
'This thing seems to be completely a part of this world,' thought Yi Yun.
Receiving something from the VOC might be like taking something directly from this world, otherwise, he would not directly master the skill he received from it.
'But what if this was done in the real world? Oh, I don't think it will work, but I'll try later.'
He then thought about whether to use those 3 grams of cells for spiritual energy or the ice mana.
'Maybe now it's better if I increase the amount of my spiritual energy first, however, it will increase the strength of my spiritual body.'

An attack from spiritual energy might not be as strong as an attack from manna energy, but it could still strike. Of course, what he wanted most were things he could do with spiritual energy.
He believed his ability to fly would increase when he had more spiritual energy, and he would be able to lift heavier objects with a wider range.
Most importantly, he would get closer to level 2 when he had 8 points of spiritual energy.
Even though he didn't know the advantages of a level 2 evolver yet, he believed there were some differences between them and a level 1 evolver, which made their strength vastly different even though their stats only differed by 1 point.
He immediately decided.
"Send 3 grams of cells to my body," he said.
[Order has been received, transfer 3 grams of cells.]
[Warning: VOC has run out of energy, VOC can't speak for a while, please replenish VOC energy.]
"..."
Ding...
(3 grams of cells have been detected in your body.)
(Cells will disappear in ten seconds, immediately use them to increase your attributes.)
Cells can enhance two attributes in your body:
- Spiritual
- Ice mana
Yi Yun chose to use everything to the spiritual attribute.
Ding...
(You have earned 3 spiritual points.)
(Your spiritual points have increased from 5 to 8 points.)
...
"Well, this feels really great," he said as he felt an increase in energy in his body.
At the same time, he also admired the magic cells.
'They are probably the purest kind of energy.'
'But the most important thing now is to replenish the energy of this thing. Can it be done with my spiritual energy and mana?'
He then channeled his spiritual energy and mana into the VOC, but he quickly discovered something was wrong.
The VOC did absorb his spiritual energy and mana, but after a while, he felt like the VOC was receiving very little energy, even after he used half of his spiritual energy and mana.
The VOC also didn't tell him the amount of energy it had filled up, according to his estimation, it would make a report after the energy it had filled up allowed it to extract one level 1 monster.

After his spiritual energy and mana were almost depleted, he finally couldn't keep still anymore.
'If my estimation is correct, that means all my energy doesn't reach the VOC's 9% level 1 energy.'
'Does that mean one mana stone has more energy than me? They seem to be just the lowest of mana stones.'
He then turned his gaze to Zhong. The man was still fighting the two monsters, he managed to suppress them but there was no sign that he would win let alone kill them.
"It's not easy. Besides, we weren't even given weapons."
"Well, I'll help her after my energy recovers."
He started to use the method of absorbing spiritual energy to recover his energy. It didn't take too long, only about 10 minutes before his energy returned.
At the same time, the dog and monkey had also started to get hurt.
The first thing Yi Yun did was use his ice power to form a long block of ice. The shape was a bit bad but it had a sharp edge like the tip of a spear.
"Brother Zhong, take this." After making the block of ice, he directly threw it at Zhong. The latter took it quickly.
Yi Yun then used his spiritual energy to unleash invisible attacks on the dog and monkey. His attacks might barely injure them, but they managed to distract them.
With his help, Zhong quickly defeated them. He stabbed the dog's neck and the monkey's stomach. After they fell, he stabbed them again and again until their eyes dimmed.
The big man heaved a sigh of relief after confirming they were dead. He himself probably didn't believe that killing them would be so difficult. If he didn't get Yi Yun's help, he would definitely need a longer time to kill them.
He then looked at Yi Yun. "Thank you," he said.
Although he was a bit stiff and unapproachable, he was definitely a man of integrity.
After stabilizing his breathing, he carried the corpses of the two monsters out of the cell.
As soon as he arrived in front of Yi Yun, he placed the corpses of the monsters in front of him.
"Now we're even," he said.
Yi Yun, "..."
"Brother Zhong, I just want the corpse of the rabbit."
Inwardly he was happy that Zhong gave the two corpses to him, but he couldn't show his pleasure, otherwise Zhong would think he was a petty man.
"No," Zhong shook his head. "The poetry is too precious, only the corpse of the rabbit is not worth it at all compared to the poetry."
"But you fought so hard to kill them."
"Fighting hard? No, to me, it's just a child's fight."
"..."
"Ehmm, how about this, each of us took one of these monster corpses."
"No, I can still fight, I just hope you give me one more block of ice," he replied as he showed the ice block that Yi Yun had made.
Seeing that he still insisted on giving the monster corpses to him, Yi Yun felt relieved inwardly.
"Well, since this is what you want, I can only shamelessly take them," he said.
He then made another block of ice and handed it to Zhong. The latter thanked him once more before leaving for another cell.
He didn't rest, he directly entered another cell to fight.
Yi Yun immediately stared at the corpses of the two monsters as he left. He wonders how he will take care of them.
'These monsters seem to have lost energy when they died, otherwise I can use their energy to replenish the VOC energy.'
He wanted to raise his level immediately, but eating raw liver and kidney made him hesitate.
The problem is the dogs and monkeys are too big, who knows how big their livers and kidneys are.

An old man's new world
An old man on his deathbed has many regrets, but the one thing he regrets the most is not fulfilling his sense of adventure. What would he do if given a new change? I always try to make the characters as realistic as possible by giving them lives of their own and motivations for doing different actions, but because I'm a new author, I might miss a few things, so please, feel free to tell me if something feels fake or unrealistic. I also write as a hobby, and my motivation tends to go up and down. If I'm not feeling motivated, I won't force myself to write. This means that the upload schedule might have abrupt gaps and sudden spurts.

A series of Transmigrated Misadventures.
This is an original story about a sadistic and scheming human and his defective sometimes malfunctioning cube about how they travel to different worlds with different settings where they make people's lives miserable. Zhang Fei was anything but a normal person. He was a sadistic human who made the lives of his book characters quite miserable so when he died he was bounded to a system by The voice and entered the realm network. He got a second chance at life and could now practically make the character's lives a living hell but he soon found out that there is a downside to being a sadist as well. that's all folks , so the novel is a bit different from the normal system novels you read, the Main charachter isn't a good guy like in most novels, well he isnt a bad guy either, he is just a sadist. But the point is i tried to make the story as different as i could while still keeping the system/trnasmigration formula with it, so i don't know how you will interpret the story but i hope you still read it and enjoy it. i am not chinese so i might have butchered up the chinese names in the novel. and first time writing so if its a little bad please forgive me. And almost forgot any constructive criticism is appreciated. as it helps me know what i am doing right and what i am doing wrong and i have also posted the same story on wattapad.com. enjoy. Arc 1- [The Cube, The Sadist and The Villainess.] (COMPLETED) Arc 2-[The Lonely Island] (ONGOING) Writing in Quotation marks-"For dialogues of characters" Italic writing- For inner monologues and thoughts Bold writing in brackets- [For the dialogue of system]
