《Deity's Fragments [Paused]》Chapter 11 - New Plans

The place's lobby is gigantic, standing about 40 stories tall and the width of a professional soccer field. Zack wondered how he had not seen a place of such magnitude when he entered the general market.
You could see different beings coming in and out of place; some were selling merchandise, others were making reports, while others were running errands. It seemed like the market covered many areas.
The group joined a queue of one line, and in a few minutes of waiting, they were able to reach the reception.
Dereck and Jin Na managed to check-in, but they were surprised to find Zack checked in as well. "Will you join the free hunt? We can team up", Dereck proposed.
Zack shook his head. "I'm just taking it as a precaution, I don't know if I might need it in the future, besides it's not too bad to have it now or later."
Though truth be told, Zack was considering joining the free hunting class, as he wanted to test his thunder skills in combat, but he couldn't just let someone see his ability as he had another one registered.
The three of them left the reception and walked around the market for a while until it was time to head back. Zack saw some exciting things he would like to buy when he got back, but he didn't have enough Star coin.
This was the universal currency used; the school provided 300 each month to each student for basic expenses.
Zack said goodbye to Dereck and Jin Na and went to his room. Today had been quite a long day. He felt like he had spent an eternity in this place, but it was expected; Time passed differently than on earth; the days and nights were longer.
When he got to his room, he met his classmates. They were excited when they saw him; the first to speak was Thomas. "You were amazing when you fought in the cafeteria, I thought you were just a technician, but you showed that even a technician can be strong in combat," He said.

"Ah, it's obvious, we humans rely on stats, with enough stats and fighting skills, you can stand up in a fight, even though we would lose in special skills, we still have a chance," Said Zack, who walked to take another shower, he had been in the training area and still hadn't taken another bath.
"You've already slept 2 times today, you're not thinking of going to sleep are you?" asked Peter, the other roommate.
"I thought you guys didn't come back, I didn't know you saw me sleeping," He said, feeling a little embarrassed that he was labeled as lazy.
"We saw you, but we decided to leave, so we wouldn't make too much noise and disturb your dreams," This Time, Susy spoke.
Zack didn't bother talking anymore; he walked and went to take a shower. When he came back, something crossed his mind. He saw Susy and Deisy. "Wait, shouldn't they be in another room? A girl's room, for example."
Susy and Deisy looked at him, a little flushed as he was only wearing a towel. "Unfortunately the tech team only has this room, so we have to share it. But it's not that bad, we have magic runes that isolate our beds from the others, this was given to us by the school."
When he heard this word, Zack was surprised. Magic runes could only be done by some races, or one of the five families specialized in sorcery "Rothschild".
He grabbed some sleeping clothes and took them to the bathroom, and changed inside. When he came out, he went straight to his bed and fell asleep immediately.
...
Early in the morning, Zack was sitting on his bed while reviewing some notes he had written earlier on his laptop.

-Increase power -]
He had thought of creating an artificial intelligence chip; he plans to integrate it and have it as a second brain to increase his thinking level.
He got out of bed and left the room with his hair tousled and free. He looked for the school's reception office and, in doing so, looked around to see if he saw Dereck.
To his luck, he wasn't there, so she walked to the front desk and asked for the form to join the free hunt. The registration was effortless and straightforward, the free hunt would start in a week, and he would be issued with protective gear.
Outside the reception, he headed to the computer shop. There was almost no one there, and it looked like a deserted place.
Although the outside machinery could not be used, the programming language used was the same, only associated with Magic.
When he connected to a computer, something he had not imagined happened.
[Magic digitizing equipment found ...]
[Copying functions ...]
["Computer interface" created]
["Programming" created]
["Create" added]
He didn't know something like this could happen. If it was on the outside, he could become the most excellent hacker, but this was not what he wanted. He wanted adventure, to feel free, and even though he didn't consider it before because he had no power, he wanted to join his father in the higher hunting dimension.
He had only seen him a few times, but he always told Zack about his adventures, but it was short-lived before he returned to the dimensions.
['Computer Interface'] Allows you to use different tools without the need for magical equipment.
['Programming'] Allows you to make programs from the computer interface.
['Create'] uses the ability to convert energy into matter. The ability is based on the user's energy. The rarer the material, the more energy is needed.
When he read the last part, he realized that it was already a living trap, 'What is the author thinking?'
"Screen Interface - Programming."
A floating black Window appeared. [Enter your ideas. The system will convert it into code; you can modify the code].
Thinking about how he should start, he imagined some artificial intelligence that would not defy his commands or have thoughts against him. He didn't know if such a basic concept could be achieved, but immediately, a large amount of code began to be written on the black screen, and power was consumed.
[Time remaining - 3 dimensional days]
The power consumption was minimal, so he didn't worry about it. He would wait for it to finish and then use the ability to create.
Making the window disappear, he walked out of the technical area and went to take one of his classes.

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
