《Deity's Fragments [Paused]》Chaper 7 - Understanding the Skill

"Hey buddy, are you okay?" a voice was heard next to Zack. It was Thomas, one of Zack's roommates.
Zack looked at him and saw a few faces looking at him strangely. Looking around could see that there were two more roommates besides the previous three.
"Did I do something weird?" He waited for Thomas' answer, as he didn't want to hear them say 'You were talking in your sleep', it would be embarrassing, and also they would know of a past that he didn't want to remember about, but for some reason, it came back to his mind in the form of a dream.
Thomas spoke amicably, seeing that nothing was happening with Zack and replied, "You screamed suddenly, making everyone wake up scared, but we saw you crying and thought you had some nightmare."
Getting out of bed, Zack walks to the bathroom. Opening the door, he looks back and replies, "It's nothing, don't worry."
Thomas could only sigh and sit with the others as they talked about Zack's personality. They had barely seen him, but he gave them the impression that he was a man of few words and not very sociable.
It was 7:30 A.M. A group of classmates walked along as they chatted and introduced themselves to another classmate.
"I'm Thomas, and these here beside me are Susy, Dylan, Pedro and Deisy." Among these people, the most sociable was Thomas, while others did not try to get along very well with Zack.
"I'm Zack. Nice to meet you," He had to maintain a stable relationship in the group since he would be working with them from now on.
They went to the Assembly class, but the content he received was theoretical. Thomas explained that, although he was late, the classes were only a few weeks old and only in a few days would the practical classes begin.

The class passed slowly, and it seemed like an eternity. When the bell rang, he went out as if he was being rushed. The class was quite bored. He wanted action, adventure, not these mechanics classes. He could have said he had his thunder ability, but they would soon discover his abnormal compatibility, and he would attract too much attention.
Today he was in simple clothes, a white T-shirt, black jeans and sandals. The school did not focus on the way students dressed. They would only establish a uniform when it came to a competition to represent the school or during a raid.
His peculiar way of dressing made many people look at him strangely. Many made fun, and others thought he was crazy, while others thought he was just a sluggish person.
Truth be told, he used to dress fashionably, but he gradually adopted an obsession with common clothes. From Bermuda shorts, loose pants, and he rarely wore shoes or tennis shoes.
Looking at his tablet, he followed the direction it pointed him towards the library. He wanted to know more about the hunting dimension where he was.
When he arrived, there were few people, so he felt comfortable with no one to disturb him. He searched the shelves and found the book [The Dimensions and their races].
He started to read the book, but what it contained were already things he knew. It was the basics to know.
The hunting dimensions were divided into 5, where the school was located was the first dimension. You would have to become stronger to withstand the other dimension's pressure and energy, so the cycle continued.
He closed the book and took it to the shelf. Looking for something of interest, he decided to pick up some computer books since his main skill made him look like a software himself.
He picked up a book called [Quantum Computing], and as he picked it up, a voice was heard.

[A book of information compatible with his ability has been detected].
[Understanding ... 1% ... 15% ... 53% ... 78% ... 100%]
The information began to enter his brain, and within seconds he had comprehended the book. He could tell that his ability had activated in the time interval he tried to comprehend the book.
He could only deduce that his ability allowed him to analyze an object and have its information, as he had not heard anyone who, upon touching a book with information from his ability, understood it immediately.
To confirm this, he searched the section and tapped [Nano Robotics], but the notification did not appear. Thinking of what to do, he decided to activate his ability in the book by himself.
Energy began to cover the book, and it transformed into information consisting of "0's and 1's". The information passed through his forehead, and he was able to comprehend the information.
The book did not disappear, as after he got what he wanted, it returned to normal. He had consumed only 2 energy points for this action. As it was little, he learned different books such as [Mechanics], [Artificial Intelligence], [Robotics], [Production], among others.
Suddenly an idea popped into his head. He focused all his ability on his eyes, but he could not see anything different in doing so. What he did know was that his energy was pouring out like crazy.
He thought that his power would work differently depending on where or how he used it and decided to use it on his eyes because he thought they would not get stronger but would do something else. Zack thought he failed his analysis, but as he looked around, he could notice a person walking, but it looked in slow motion. Also, he could notice how the energy was moving through his body, his core, his form, etc.
Suddenly he felt a severe headache, and losing the strength of his body, it collapsed.
...
Opening his eyes slowly, he could see the place where he was. He was in a white room, lying on a stretcher.
Looking around, he almost jumped off the gurney from shock. A blonde woman wearing a white robe and glasses was sitting next to him, looking at him.
Clutching his heart and almost getting off the gurney, he said, "Do you want to kill me?"
With a smile, the woman just stood up, walked over to a desk and picked up a document which she began to fill out, but suddenly stopped and looked back at Zack, saying, "Are you going to spend the whole day here? I know I look like a goddess in your eyes, but you need to leave since you woke up."
Irritated looking at the doctor who was still staring at him, he could only think, 'Who is this crazy narcissist? Is this how she treats her patients?'
Getting off the bed, he checked his body, and everything was in order, so he decided to leave the clinic. Walking, he started to think about why he fainted, but something clicked in her mind when he remembered that he had lasted almost a minute with the ability active.
'Looks like I'll only be able to use it when I'm in grave danger or when I increase my energy. Oh, I also need to improve my strength. Still, my plan will have to be put into action later when I learn more about this school' Seeing the capabilities of his ability, he had made some plans which are they worked would give him strength without having to go hunting, but he would have to test them out first.
Lost in his thoughts, he felt hungry and decided that he should get something to eat...
