《Deity's Fragments [Paused]》Chapter 6 - Nightmare

On the left side of a classroom, a boy about 11 years old could be seen looking out the window. Water droplets were dripping down the window as he stared out at the landscape in the distance. Thick grey clouds, buildings and small houses, plus a large mountain made up this landscape.
As he watched, he was lost in thought ...
He had just turned 9 years old when he entered his new school. Like most kids his age, he thought about what powers they might develop when they turned 15. He was excited to meet his new classmates. He imagined himself going hunting beasts with his friends and having adventures together; he was an innocent and naive boy.
As if it was a curse of life, when he arrived at his new classroom, everything started well, but he doesn't know at what moment everything changed. He was a boy with a weak constitution, he had nothing that made him stand out, but apparently, this characteristic made them not take him seriously.
"Zack, why did you hit your classmate?" who asked was the homeroom teacher.
"But he hit me first, teacher" being a weak and innocent boy Zack was a little teary-eyed as he spoke.
"That's a lie, teacher. You can ask Tony; I didn't hit him." Sketched Sam, the boy Zack just hit who was also his classmate.
"It's true, teacher, Sam didn't do anything" Tony came out to defend Sam.
"But I didn't ..." before he finished speaking, the teacher took Zack to a corner of the classroom and made him stand there in punishment.
Tears were streaming down his face. He wondered why this was happening. He never did anything to them, but they still took him as if he wasn't worth the same as them and looked down on him.
...
"Give back the money you took from her", Said James, another of Zack's classmates. He was burly and gave the impression of being quite strong.

"But I won the money, we bet, and I won fair and square", Grabbing the money he had won from Amanda. He had made a layer with the girl, but after losing, she wanted Zack to pay her back, so he went for James' help.
A hard blow hit him in the face knocking him to the ground as the money he held flew out of his hand. James punched Zack in the face causing him to fall, and blood came out of his nose.
All he could do was cry, was weak and scared, one who believed in heroes. That's why he always thought that these people would one day get what they deserved, but he was also slowly getting tired of what was happening.
...
"Zack, throw me the ball!" shouted James. It had been 3 months since the incident, in which he was still getting picked on, but he was still heading towards it with his head held high.
"But I'm closer; I can do it" He was still running forward while passing the team's opponents, but suddenly a hard hit caused him to fall to the ground and lose the ball.
"If I tell you to pass me the ball, you pass me the ball", James had rammed him.
...
Staring out the window, lost in thought, Zack heard a noise in the classroom that snapped him out of his daze.
"Crack - Crash!"
A dispute between two classmates broke a classroom window, one had thrown a chair at the other as he dodged it, and the chair continued on its way to the window pane.
About 5 minutes later, the guidance counsellor arrived in the classroom with some teachers. "Who did it?" was the only question she asked as she looked at everyone inside the classroom.
Silence...
"It was Zack!" a classmate shouted.
"Yes, it was Zack."
"Exactly, Zack did it."
...
The two people who were previously fighting also joined in with the others to accuse Zack, from the "most innocent" person to the most despicable person in this classroom pointed at Zack.

"Zack, follow me to the principal's office" The guidance counsellor walked to where he was and grabbed him by the forearm.
"I didn't do it!" Filled with helplessness, Zack screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Then who did?" The counsellor was waiting for his answer.
Zack wasn't the type to accuse others, but since the culprits themselves had pointed the finger at him, he had no business covering for them.
"It was James and Adams" Almost teary-eyed, he pointed to where these were.
"That's a lie; they didn't do anything..." Everyone started to protect the real culprits.
"Everyone says it was you, so why do you say otherwise?"
"I didn't do it..." Before continuing to speak, Zack started to cry. He felt helpless, and he felt finished, 'What had he done to deserve this, he was just a kid who wanted to have friends, to have a life like any other, but this didn't happen.
"Come on, we will contact your parents, and you will be banned from coming to school for 3 days" Following the crying guidance counsellor, Zack could see the smile on those people's faces as he walked away.
Even the teacher who was in the classroom at the time didn't give her word to do anything. She just stood there watching with her head down.
As he walked home, his mother said nothing, just looked at him and sighed. When he got home, Zack got out of the car and went into his room and locked himself inside for the next 3 days, only going out to eat and take a bath and then locking himself in again. Zack had never told his mother about his situation because he didn't want her to worry.
It was back to the school day. Zack went downstairs and left his house without even saying goodbye. He was on his way to school, but today he didn't take the bus; he just decided to walk.
You could notice a little different look in Zack's eyes. He didn't look so innocent anymore, he looked rather finished, but you could also see determination.
He cried the first day without a break. On the second day, he started to think, and the thoughts that came to his mind made his life change completely. 'There are no heroes, and there are no gods to come and save me, there is only me'.
He no longer wanted to depend on a saviour or friends. When he arrived at school everyone was looking at him, but he didn't pay attention, he continued to the reception and asked for a form. He decided to enrol in summer courses and learn different areas.
Zack no longer met or spoke to his classmates, although now they were not looking for problems because, after the last incident, cameras were installed in the different classrooms.
As the years passed, he learned many things, archery, martial arts, use of swords, spears, firearms, research of beasts, psychology of combat, among other areas.
He had changed; now he was a bit cold person, he was indifferent and did not make friends, but his world spilt over again when he could not awaken a skill even at 15 or 16 years old.
Running through the streets, it began to rain, but this did not make him stop. He continued to run, even soaked with water. Arriving at a point on the mountain, he could only scream towards the sky while crying with so much anger that he fainted from depression.
Opening his eyes, tears running down Zack's cheeks, he sat up in his bed and, using his T-shirt, wiped his tears. He had woken up from this nightmare.

8 340The Meaning of Life
It all started with that voice. One day, a slightly psychopathic teenager named Krey heard a voice in his dream. A goddess's request, a new world, the legacies of the Divine realms, the never-ending storms in the world of Salratia. With the carefree thought of "I shall live as I please~!", Krey sets out to begin his 'otaku' dream. But it is not smooth sailing. Troublesome divine entities, mortal politics and the relationship with his new companions. How could he, a former assassin and former odd-jobs part-time high school student worker (not to mention an otaku), a perfect example of a loner (though he himself doesn't seem to realize it) be able to handle this problem? "Ei! Whatever, there's still a few more centuries! I'll go travel the world in peace!" [Author here. This is my first time writing a story in RRL. Criticism is very welcome as long as it is educational and has some tips and bits of advice for me. I am still learning]
