Quest of Kepyun
In the morning, he woke up early and went back to the old lady's house to check if the cat returned. The old lady insisted on him to eat breakfast with her. He could not reject her. when he entered, Kepyun felt that the smell of death in the house got intensified.
The old lady: "Ethan, you should come more often."
Kepyun slapped his forehead and lowered his head in disappointment.
Kepyun: "Old lady, I am not Ethan, my name is Kepyun."
The old lady: "Whaaat? I can't hear you. Speak loudly."
Kepyun: "MY NAME IS NOT ETHAN!"
The old lady: "Stop trying to fool me. You were like that when you were smaller too. Always doing stupid jokes. You have grown a lot. Do you have a girlfriend?"
Kepyun: "I AM NOT TRYING TO FOOL YOU, I REALLY AM NOT ETHAN!"
The old lady: "Why are you shouting? Is there a deaf here?"
Kepyun foresaw the cycle he is going to go through again. He got mad at himself for accepting to eat breakfast with her. The very same thirty minutes was about to happen again.
The old lady: "Youth are nowadays so disrespectful. It is all your useless father's fault."
Kepyun: "I have never met my father."
The old lady: "Stop fooling around Ethan!"
Kepyun: "I am not..."
He stopped when he was about to say, Ethan. He didn't want to argue anymore. He silently listened to the rant of the old lady that has nothing to do with him. He was thinking about the sin he committed that caused those to happen to him.
The old lady stopped ranting only after she got tired of speaking. Kepyun wasn't even listening to her anymore. He was just repeating the same word 'sorry'. At some point even he believed he was Ethan. He was even cursing his so-called father's nefarious deeds.

When he turned back to reality, he realized he never asked the question he came for.
Kepyun: "Did the cat returned?"
The old lady: "I told you many times to speak louder."
Kepyun whispered to himself 'For f*ck's sake!' with a low volume. So low even he himself could not hear it.
Old lady shouted: "NO F-WORD IN THIS HOUSEHOLD!"
Kepyun's eyes popped out by the shock.
Kepyun: "You heard that?"
The old lady: "Of course I heard, do you take me for a deaf?"
Kepyun was thinking about how unreasonable the old lady was. He was cursing in his mind.
Kepyun decided to use his whispering volume again: "So you can hear everything?"
The old lady: "Whaaat? Speak louder. You are like that because of your father. She pressured you so much, you became a human without a backbone."
Kepyun realized how she is doing those on purpose. He decided to get to the main topic.
Kepyun: "DID THE CAT RETURN?"
The old lady: "Why are you sh.."
Kepyun interrupted her: "DID THE CAT RETURN?"
The old lady: "Stop sh..."
Kepyun interrupted her again: "DID THE CAT RETURN?"
The old lady: "Stooo..."
Kepyun: "DID THE CAT RETURN?"
The old lady sighed and gave up.
The old lady: "NO! DISRES.."
Kepyun: "BYE!"
Kepyun left hurriedly.
He decided to search for the cat on the streets again after school. He went to school just like that.
---
After a few practices in the school, he went back on the mission again. He followed any cat he found. He was trying to feed them, play with them from time to time. He always considered cats to be useless creatures but now he looked at them with a different light. He was becoming fallen for them slowly. Their cuteness was captivating him.
He already began to do 'the prayer rituals' of 'Cat Cult'. Holding a cat and caressing them until they get bored, looking at a cat who is trying to catch its own tail and smiling like he found the peace, serving them at every opportunity like they are some divine being...

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

Legend of the Seven
Humans were cast out of Eden for committing the original sin. Now Seven will answer, should Humanity live forever? But first, join Team Six in their rescue mission turned daring prison break from death. Author's Corner: Welcome to the Legend of the Seven series #LOTSseries, my Guardians. This is my first novel turned webnovel. I'm returning to this fictional world after a 6-year hiatus with a lot of personal growth and insight. Insights gained from being a lifetime reader.I was the kid who read Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. I was the new adult who read I Shall Seal the Heavens and Ark. I've lost count of how many fictional worlds I've visited and lived through for I grew up on western novels but discovered eastern novels in my college years. This is my attempt to marry those two literary styles. It's my hope that this journey becomes more than just a book. If you're reading this simply expecting an ego power trip then turn back. There'll be action but with a lot of metaphysics and discussion on life with its accompanying issues. I strive to ground and make this webnovel relatable with verisimilitude. This webnovel is about choice. Freewill and its consequences. I give my characters autonomy to do and be themselves which sometimes leads to me rewriting and replotting because of pleasant surprises from my characters. Even the character who dies within the chapter they are introduced can have a massive impact with several ripples. So, there'll be stories on love and loss, hope and despair, but most importantly, it'll be a story. Release schedule: M, W, F - I aim for afternoon (1pm to 6pm) MST. I'm working on a project, codenamed "Guides' Sanctum", to make LOTSseries even more alive with special voice-overs, extra stories, behind the scene stuff, and so much more. But it can only come online when certain benchmarks are reached. The listed goals will help us get there.
