Next day.

Olga woke up on a bed in the infirmary. She checked her surroundings and realized where she is. The nurse saw her and spoke.

Nurse: "Good morning."

Olga: "Good morning. Is it morning right now?"

Nurse: "Yes, you did pass out because of over-exhaustion. A boy carried you all the way here, he sleeps on this bed."

Pointing the bed right next to hers. There was a curtain between them. When she was checking him nurse spoke again.

Nurse: "Who injured him to this extent?"

She checked his injuries and decided to lie.

Olga: "I don't know. By the way, did I miss school?"

Nurse: "No, you didn't. There is at least one more hour before the first lecture."

Olga: "Thanks."

Olga slapped Sakar. The nurse tried to stop her but she didn't care and forced him to wake up. Sakar still kept sleeping. Olga got another idea.

Olga: "I am showing my pink panties."

Sakar instantly woke up. He was full of energy. When he realized that he was tricked he uttered one "Damn it!" and lost all his energy. The nurse was unable to speak. She got surprised at both how a girl like Olga is shameless as that and how he managed to wake up even though he is injured a lot.

Both Sakar and Olga thanked the nurse and left the infirmary.

They reached their classroom half-hour early. Sakar asked a question. Sakar managed to gain his energy back only after he arrived in the classroom.

Sakar: "Why can't you accept that you are beautiful?"

Olga: "I know I am beautiful but that is not a blessing as you think."

Sakar: "Why do you think that?"

Olga: "It did not bring a good thing yet."

Sakar: "Come on, all the boys at the school, they would work their asses for you."

Olga: "I don't need henchmen."

Sakar: "Still, even the shops would gift you many things compared to me."

Olga: "They would expect something in return. Enough! My beauty brought me many misfortunes and I don't want to talk about them."

Mr. Hakki entered the class. They stood up. This time Sakar stood up too.

Mr. Hakki: "You may sit down."

After Mr. Hakki told them to sit. They sat.

Mr. Hakki: "Today, I will talk about affinity. I bought a sphere of affinity. Once you touch it, its color will change according to your affinity."

The sphere Mr. Hakki brought was made from colorless glass. It looked like a glass ball.

Mr. Hakki: "Sakar, come here and touch the sphere. Even though I know you have an affinity towards the fire, let's test it out."

Sakar touched the sphere. Inside the sphere, a fire began to burn.

Mr. Hakki: "Olga you should try too."

When Olga touched the sphere, it turned into black. It was nothingness, a kind of black you would see only in the open space. Even Mr. Hakki got surprised.

Mr. Hakki: "Meaning of black matter is an affinity towards law. You can manipulate many things other than elements with magic. Some call it 'law magic', some call it 'darkness magic'. In the end, it is the magic to manipulate laws of physics."

Mr. Haki: "I did not expect you to have an affinity towards darkness. Affinities do not come by themselves. Sakar has an affinity towards fire because he has a strong wish to destroy. Darkness means wish to become free, to break free from the shackles of even the laws itself."

Olga: "Is it good?"

Mr. Hakki: "It is rarer and harder to master but has enough potential. If you work hard you can do that."

Right after he said that his hair turned into black. Sakar and Olga dropped to the floor. They felt their bodies were getting heavier by every second. Just after a few seconds, they could not even move their hands.

Mr. Hakki: "This is one of many things you can manipulate. This is called 'gravity manipulation'. You can decide if it is good or not by yourself."

Mr. Hakki dispelled the magic. So his hair turned back to normal. They stood up again with an amazed expression.

Sakar: "Can I learn to do the same thing?"

Mr. Hakki: "Affinity is not a limit, it is just the element you perform better. Mages can do every kind of magic."

Olga: "Teacher, why your hair change color?"

Mr. Hakki: "I taught you guys about the powers bestowed by the stars. This is mine, I can change my affinity as I wish. Changing my affinity also changes how I look."

Sakar: "Wow, I didn't realize the amazement of our teacher."

Mr. Hakki's eyes were shining with pride. He was a man weak to compliments.

Sakar: "I thought he was a useless mage expelled from the mage country."

After he heard Sakar, he felt a slap on his face with the words of Sakar shaped into the sound of a slap in his mind.

Olga: "I didn't think he was useless but about expulsion, I thought the same."
