《The Legend of The Demon Prince》Chapter 3 : teleported away

The next day…
Kong yue is sitting in the courtyard of his home, just thinking about his future. Suddenly a hand came on his shoulders. Still in a daze he didn’t even notice when his mother had come to him and almost fell off from his chair.
“Little yue, are you alright?”
“I am alright mother.”
He himself is unaware that due to his sorrowful thoughts his usually soft voice had become hoarse and dry.
He had been there in the courtyard since morning and it is almost night time now. His mother offered him some tea and sit beside him to comfort him.
“Yue, you shouldn’t worry. After all we couldn’t stay with each other for whole your life. Sigh it is an opportunity for you to mature yourself. So be brave and embrace it. I will be waiting for you inside.”
“Yes, mother. I will be back soon.”
After talking with her son, yue’s mother started walking towards the entrance of the house. Sobbing could be heard from both the mother and son duo. It was the first time her son is going to leave and same can be said for yue.
In this period of time, yue spent most of his time on reading various ancient texts, practicing his swordplay and exercising like usual. As if nothing was going to happen soon.
A month passed in a blink of an eye, it is the day that the young generation of the Kong demon dynasty are to be send off to different planets randomly.
There is a huge crowd of people in the royal palace today. The crowd consisted of the 96 children and his 72 wives, elders, guards and various other important officials of the palace.
A banquet was set up for all the people. It is 8 pm now and the time for sending off the young people. As the time arrived emperor got on the stage and announced his desires and expectations of the young generation before asking everybody to move to the palace garden where teleportation formation is placed.

10 elders can be seen distributing number cards to the 96 children in order from youngest to eldest and hence the teleportation process started. After 3 hours, finally came yue’s turn to be teleported off. He couldn’t do anything now. The rims of his eyes had long became moist.
Hearing his name being called out yue started walking towards the formation. However he then stopped in his tracks and looked back and saw his mother calling out to him. He walked to his mother and asked,
“Yes mother?”
“Yue, this is the last thing I can give to you so that you can remember me”
She handed him a pendant two wear on his neck. Seeing the simple but elegant pendant yue smiled lightly.
“Thank you mother, for bring up such a useless child and treating him properly. I will remember your kindness and love and will by any means cultivate to see you once again before my death. I have all the necessities for my survival in my interspatial ring and will be sure to live well. I will see you soon. Good bye”
He left without looking back again and stepped into the formation. A jolt came to his mind and he felt his consciousness fading. Then he found himself in a green forest.
He seemed to be the only one there and looked around to see if there was anyone else there.
He didn’t have any map or way to guide him, so after wearing the pendent he started to walk in a random direction, wishing to leave the forest and go to some town. Then maybe he will start a business there.
He had only walked for about 7 hours before stopping. He could hear loud roaring voice, after hearing which his face ashamed.
“Shit, why did it has to be dragon’s territory? So that’s why it was so empty! Have to run now!”

He started to run in the opposite direction from the roar but it was too late now. After all how can a mere human be faster than a dragon?
As he was running, he made the mistake of looking behind. He saw a dragon at least 90 m long and with a wing span of 150 m flying in the sky. It was red in color and looked like a majestic king looking down on all life forms from the above.
“Shit”
This was all he could say before Kong yue felt a huge wind force on his backside and then a force which was so strong as if a mountain was sent flying on his back.
Apparently he had been hit by the dragon’s tail and knocked flying.
His body kept flying in the air for dozens of kilometers before loudly falling to the ground, beside a lake. A huge crater was formed where he fell. A bright glow started dimming and his face could be finally seen.
Meanwhile on the Kong demon planet. Inside yue’s home a man and a woman were sitting on opposite sides from each other on sofas in the living room. The man was elegantly dressed and woman was also a beauty. They were the father and mother of Kong yue.
“Ling, did you give yue that necklace?”
“I did”
“Sigh, that was all I could do for that child to protect him. He has food and weapons. Although he can’t cultivate but where I sent him there won’t be much need of it anyways”
“What? Where did you send him meng?”
“Ha-ha, I really love it when you call me that way”
“Stop joking and just tell me!”
“I sent him to blue jade planet. It is not a very big planet and has very small amount of cultivators. Only about a million!”
“Just a million? Then maybe yue can live well there. His physique is powerful enough to rival a level 2 elementary qi realm expert”
“In that million cultivators most of them are in elementary qi, while very few, only a handful are in sky qi realm. With the protection of the pendant he will be safe. Don’t worry about him so much.”
“How can I not worry, I am his mother! Humph!”
A day had passed since yue had been hit by the dragon and became unconscious. He had finally waken up. He started groaning and then sat up.
“How am I even alive? Ah I feel like my whole body is broken”
And stood up to check his surroundings. He saw that there was lake nearby and decided to get a drink.
Before he could get near the lake he heard a loud shout and turned around.
He heard a loud voice calling to him.
“Stop you pervert!”

Tim the Engineer
Summoned against his will to a world of swords and magic, an engineering student struggles to find a way home under the shadow of a world devouring threat. ***************************** Updates: 5/13/19: Revisions to several chapters for clarity, grammar, and style. 4/29/19: A short side story and artwork has been added to the blog. 4/8/19: A Side Story has been updated on my new blog (every writer is required to have one). https://talesfromliahar.wordpress.com/ ***************************** “The summoning scenarios are broken down into groups of ten.” Emi Ito stated. “Don’t, don’t you dare say another word.” Muttered Genzo Uchida. His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region

A New Leaf
When people mention fantasy games and RPGs, they usually think of goblins, elves, orcs, dwarves and magic (apart from the percentage that gets an image of an anti-tank weapon in their mind, I will respectfully put those individuals aside for now). And what if the said game you were playing weren't actually a game, but real life changed by irresponsible, beyond-mortal beings? Follow the (mis)adventures of "player" 13241, a.k.a. Treant, as he experiences what it's like to be a walking magical fruit maker (among other things). When the world goes to hell and back, plants are the ones that remain, right?
