62 . For months on end
Izel stayed on this cursed planet for a year, that's six weeks for the rest of the universe. The difference is very big, for these friends it shouldn't be too long but for him it should be long without them. The progress of this research has been faster in the last few months, the more they discovered, the easier it became to discover. The technologies he's discovered so far are all stored in his crystal, all of them were scanned from every angle, reproducing similar technology and getting closer and closer. He has already modified his armor to be made with kree alloy, and this has relieved the weight of it. A beautiful dark armor of aspect aged by the color of the metal, epaulettes, a chest, and wrist guard, the lower part of his body was not protected because it limits too much these movements. The capsule which made it possible to create the life was decoded at thirty percent for the moment, it will need other knowledge to go further.
One thing that took him a long time to do was to enchant his spaceship, several runes had been placed on the hull of the spaceship. In order for runes and technology to combine well, an effort should be made about the runes he was carving. The alloy that made up his shuttle was not so suitable for the runes but by changing it a little bit with the dark elf alloy, metallurgy was not his forte but with a lot of trial and error the ship looked much better. The engraving worker was long and tedious but the whole ship had these runes, runes to make the ship much stronger but also for which is an electromagnetic shield to create a semblance of interference to the radars. This could help before he installed the Dark Elf camouflage system, he also wanted to install their black hole generator on his ship, with this he would never have to recharge it and could make a long trip at a much higher speed.

The ship had been named "libertas", and it competed with many other ships that roamed the universe, even though it had not yet reached the levels of the Kree or Asgardian ships. He was proud of his creation and all the work done on it, the runes were engraved with the best of these abilities. It was all connected to energy-charged crystals placed inside the hull, a power rune continuously charged them so that the runes would work continuously. The jammers are tested and it works pretty well, using a radar that displays nothing on the screen. Another addition was made on the ship as a cargo hold that can hold large objects, or even a better anti-gravity module. With all this his return trip to vanaheim should be less hectic, because even if it wasn't easy to come back it should be even harder without it. The tunnels were always more stable on both sides, the portal to choose from was memorized by izel to avoid getting to the wrong destination.
This week was going to be izel's last on this planet, news was sent to him by rose, the message always had alternating for him it arrived later than her. Due to the time difference between Vanaheim and Sakaar, the messages had a higher latency time. The scrap heap had increased further over time, by the time they looked up at the sky with Cuau a new supply of scrap was about to fall into the dump. They both headed towards this place, something that made them curious fell on top of the other waste. A container marked TIVAN GROUP, having lived on this planet for one year, they learned a lot about the universe and the name "Tivan" was well known in the universe.
The Tivan Group is a prestigious and notoriously powerful group in the criminal world of the galactic community. Responsible for the founding of Knowhere, the Group is considerably wealthy and is often the source of exponential contributions to the criminal element of the galaxy. Taneleer Tivan , the famous collector, controls the group. The Tivan Group created a mining company on the severed head of a celestial object floating in space, transforming it into Knowhere , serving primarily as a mining colony. The head of the group, Taneleer Tivan, has set up his museum on Knowhere, as the largest collection of interstellar flora and fauna in the galaxy. Taneleer Tivan, along with the rest of his species, appeared in the Universe shortly after its beginning. Tivan has been awarded the title of "Collector" and controls an immense intergalactic treasure trove containing a vast collection of objects and living specimens. This man is of the same species as the great master, that's why Izel knows him specifically, he is not a very discreet man.

The container marked with his name is very likely to contain something quite precious, such as celestial organic matter, which could be the most precious substance in the universe. The Celestial Ones are an ancient race of entities that possess vast abilities to manipulate matter and energy. They were present long before the dawn of galactic communities and even Asgardians. They were known for their use of the Infinity Stones. The Celestians predate the dawn of the Asgardians and appear to be humanoid in nature. Their bodies seem to have had skeletal and neurological elements similar to those of humans, but on a much larger scale. The most powerful beings in the universe, for someone to succeed in cutting the head off one of their species it had to be immensely powerful or be of the same species. If this container was what he was hoping it would be, it could be very big news, he just has to get it back before someone else sees it.
Asking Cuau to carry it with his legs, going as fast as he can to the box. Arriving in front of some people was about ten meters away from him, he managed in extremis to put the box back in his crystal, he should look inside it when he is away from prying eyes because it could put him in danger if anyone finds out. Continuing his search for not looking suspicious he found something like an energy gun or information chip, the chip was very useful because it often contained new knowledge such as the coordinates of some planet or a map of a known city. Data on some cultures of the galaxy were also found but rarer. After a few hours he went back to the workshop to go in his ship to open the Tivan group's box to finally discover what it contained and it will surprise him, because by opening the box he discovered something unique.

Arcane Engines: Alchemist’s Scheme
A seemingly chance encounter with an ancient machine and an assassination attempt threaten to disrupt Veil’s education at the premier mage academy of Ithalaan. The bombings and terrorist actions that follow throw the entire region into chaos and draw him inexorably deeper into a mystery involving cults, gods, and ancient mysterious races. These events threaten Veil’s carefully crafted plans, but there are few limits on his ambition. He is willing to do whatever it takes to advance his schemes to become a Magus, including pursuing the illegal discipline of soul magic. While Veil isn’t a powerful mage yet, his spell wrought guns and illicit abilities will help even the playing field. The need to face down his enemies and fulfill his ambitions will send him desperately searching from Forerunner ruins in the Great Northern Forest to ancient abyssal cities within the depths of the planet. _________________________________________________________________ The book is primarily fantasy with a steampunk background. Science fiction elements won't be introduced for quite some time. I currently update my work at a rate of one chapter per week. I'm also in the process of editing chapters 1 - 7, changing the format to make it more readable, and introducing more show and less tell. The reworked chapters will have (edited) after the title. All chapters after 8 have already been written in the new style. I have a Patreon page if you wish to donate. Also, there will be intense situations, some explicit violence, and although it is not an erotic work, one or two sex scenes.
8 154Magician's Pact
A young boy with a special key finds himself caught up with an old wizard, an ancient prohpecy, and a possibly conspercy. This sounds like the sort of thing most childern would love to be a part of, but there are just three small problems. The first is that he is not the hero. Someone already got that role. The second is that he isn't a wizard. He is a Magician which complicates things. The third is that there might be a chance that the whole 'problem' might be comming from his end. Personally he never understood (or interacted with) the 'secret' magical world, but that becomes a problem when the magical world apparently has what his role is supposed to be according to their ancient book... and they are not to happy about him not matching their book. Still it shouldn't be to hard right? All he has to do is go to a school, learn some wizard magic, make sure nobody takes his key... also avoid dying. Thankfully he has had a lot of expereince with that last part and a bunch of Twig Twirling childern can't be too dangerious? Right?
8 102The Imagineer's Bloodline
The Big Picture The nature of evolution is to move slowly. Until it doesn’t. If humanity approached an evolutionary crisis… Would we know it? Bendik is a once-in-a-millennia genius. He does. He recognizes quantum computing will be the catalyst. More, he knows there are only three potential outcomes for homo-sapiens: evolution, enslavement, or destruction. Bendik's plan: trigger rapid human evolution, make rogue Quantum Intellect catastrophes impossible, and change the nature of human civilization forever. What's happened so far in Book 1 - link to first book Bendik perfected the world's first Quantum-core processor, decades before anyone else. However, his plan to trigger human evolution is complicated and it only now nears completion. At the same time, Ronanld Linkletter, a brutally self-serving competitor closes in on his own Quantum breakthrough. Bendik's catalyst, a globe spanning marvel of engineering nears completion. For his plan to work, he needs to train millions of people without tipping off the powers that be. His son Austin has the solution: an immersive game world indistinguishable from the real world, where playing can heal trauma, activate advanced, dormant DNA, and unwittingly train Bendik's millions. Planet Kuora is born and under the care of Elle, Austin's homo-empathic QI, it flourishes. After creating wholly unique avatars, endowed with Equilibrium powers, Austin's team and a second team led by Oliver Ward, a retired special forces operative, have entered Kuora. They are enthralled by Kuora, discover its history of power and betrayal, are set on quests to discover why the Pergothian Empire fell, and discover a hidden attribute system that grants extraordinary powers but can only be revealed through self-discovery. Book one leaves Austin's team poised on the brink of entering an ancient Breal Bloudran ruin. On Earth, Bendik hits a roadblock and needs help, but he can't risk exposing his project. His solution? Disguise advanced polymeric molecular math as the backdrop for his node tower construction ads. At the site in Medellín, Colombia he hits pay dirt. We meet Gideon Suarez. Gideon welcomes Bendik to the Imagineers. He has lived many lives, and he has been waiting for Bendik. Chapters posted here are the 2nd & 3rd Books in the Ascendant Earth Chronicles. They predominantly feature Erramir/Austin's adventures in Kuora, althougth there are real world chapters. The first book, which includes many more hard sci-fi elements, can be found here.
8 120NPC MAKER
Jan 1, 2022 Edit: Happy near years! Sorry for the long delays once again, I hope to write more frequently. The NPC-MAKER only has one goal… and that is to rule the world with his NPCs! He has the power to create any NPC he desires as long as he has the resources for it. He was obviously going to create slave NPCs to gather resources so he can focus on making more NPCs. There are way too many enemies in the world trying to kill him so he must create many NPCs stronger than himself to defend him and his empire! Unfortunately, he finds himself stranded in the desert with nothing around. He must survive the harsh conditions and hopefully create NPCs to help him. ~ What to Expect ~ - Lots of NPC interactions. Arc 1 Desert Survival Chapter 1 to... ( work in progress)
