Two days later
{Place}: Magical City Namteh's Dungeon
---
Vincent: “Alright everyone, let’s complete the quest this time.”
Erika: “Hmph, we would have it done already if you were protecting me as you should.”
Camelia: “Please don’t fight you two. Master Erika, please just come inside.”
Vincent: “Don’t worry Erika, a thing like last time won’t happen again. This time I will do my duty properly.”
Erika: “Hmph.”
Vincent: "Hm? What's with that face Erika? Did something happen?"
Erika: "Nothing. Let's just go inside already."
---
{Place}: Magical City Namteh's Dungeon
---
Camelia: “It’s the Entrance!”
Vincent: “Be careful, everyone. There should be a group of ape monsters ahead in the first room. So let’s prepare ourselves.”
Erika: “Okay, let’s go with my plan that I thought yesterday, then."
Camelia: “Oh, a plan. So amazing, master Erika.”
Erika: “Hmph, don’t praise me yet. When you hear it, you will be even more amazed. So praise me later. Anyway, my plan is... to throw these bananas I bought today at them…”
Vincent: "…you can't be serious."
Erika: "Of course I am. Why, what's wrong with my plan?!"
Vincent: "I mean, I see you are trying to lighten the mood, but this is not the time for it, Erika."
Erika: "I'm perfectly serious right now Vincent. If you say another word Vincent, I will feed you some magic missile."
Vincent: "..."
Camelia: “So that’s why you bought them, I thought they were just snacks.”
Erika: “Anyway. While the monkeys will be eating the bananas I will smash them with my magic. So, what do you think? It’s amazing right?”
Vincent: “W...well, your plan is certainly amazing in some way.”
Camelia: “But, master Erika, I don’t think your plan will…”
Erika: “You Camelia will distract them with words or something, while Vincent will throw the bananas. Then I will use my magic. Here Vincent, take the bananas. Is everything clear? If there’s no question, then let’s go.”
Vincent: ”Wait, Erika.”
Camelia: “Master Erika, please wait.”
Camelia: "..."
Erika: "What is it?"
Camelia: "I just wanted to say, I think your plan is very amazing."
Erika: "Right?"
Vincent: "Camelia, please don't encourage her even more."
Erika: "Hahaha! I knew you would like it, Camelia. Let's go."
---
{Place}: Dungeon's First Room
---
[Description]: 'The three of them went to the location where the Apes were earlier. Erika stood in the middle of the room and looked around.'
Erika: "So, where are the monkeys?"
Giant Apes: “Eek eek eek.”
Vincent: "Here they are. Get Ready everyone!"
Erika: “But still, they are really cute, maybe we should just ignore them after all.”
Camelia: “No! They are enemies!”
Erika: “Fine, Camelia distract them, Vincent throw the bananas!”
Camelia: “Don’t get carried away and charm my master you stupid monkeys. I’m certainly cuter than you. My master only needs me, so you should just disappear!”
Giant Apes: “Eek eek.”
[Description]: ‘Of course such a dumb intimidation attempt wouldn't work. Sigh. What a useless fellow.’
Camelia: “Mister Vincent, they are going your way, watch out!”
Vincent: "I got this! Take that. It’s your favorite, a beautiful yellow and tasty bananas. It’s what you like the most!”
[Description]: ‘Failed. Man, just where are you throwing. But seriously, throwing bananas. Are they really alright in the head?’
Vincent: “No! I missed! How could I miss it? I'm out of bananas, I'll try to distract them somehow. You two run away and find something else."

Camelia: "But…"
Vincent: "Just do it! I can handle this."
Giant Apes: "Eek eek."
Vincent: "Alright, don't get to close now. You monsters!"
[Description]: ‘And of course Vincent was beautifully ignored by the apes.’
Vincent: "Erika, watch out!”
Camelia: “Master Erika!”
Erika: “Hmph. Don’t underestimate my perfectly flawless plan.”
Giant Apes: "Eek eek."
[Description]: ‘...'
[Description]: 'Hmm, it seems, monkeys still got interested in the bananas. That was unexpected, it’s got to be some kind of magic. Just how... That thing that can’t even be called a proper plan worked. Somehow, I feel tired. Explanation, take over for me. I need to drink today, and a lot.’
[Explanation]: ‘Oh, it’s finally my time to shine.’
Erika: “Alright, my plan worked flawlessly as expected. Now is my turn. Magic Missile!“
[Explanation]: ‘No, it failed. But, it’s just the first one.’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘Oh, amazing. What a splendid looking critical hit magic missile. You don’t see them that often.’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘Not as great as the previous one, but still good.’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘Another good one. Go for it girl!’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘Good. Good. Girls can be great fighters too.’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘That’s right. Show them all. Don’t let those guys look down on us. Girls Power For The Win!’
Erika: “... Magic Missile!
[Explanation]: ‘Kuh, the last one failed. And it was almost perfect. But it doesn’t matter. The other ones were plenty enough.’
Erika: “I did it! I did it! Praise me, Vincent!”
Vincent: "Wait, what?"
Camelia: “You are awesome, master Erika! You did it!”
Vincent: “Yeah, somehow your plan worked. Well done, Erika.”
Erika: "Yeah! I'm the greatest! Praise me more!"
Vincent: "Sure."
Erika: "So, what's next?"
Vincent: "Well, we still have two more things to find in this dungeon. And then, we are heading to the surface."
Camelia: “Now, let’s search the corpses. We might find something.”
Erika: “Ugh, do we have to? It’s disgusting after all. I will leave it to you, as I practically killed them on my own, so it’s given that you should do something too.”
Vincent: “Hmm, can’t find anything useful. Camelia how about you?”
[Explanation]: ‘Eeeh. That’s so disgusting.’
Camelia: “Yes, it’s an ear. The rest is...uhm just a lump of unidentifiable something.”
Vincent: "What?"
Camelia: "Well, it looks like another ear. But it might be something else."
"Vincent: "You are holding a bloody ear in your hand and tell me it might be something else?"
Camelia: "It might be a nose. Yeah, it's a nose."
Erika: “Ugh, bleh...cough, cough. Just looking at you going through all that mess is making me sick.”
Camelia: “Please, master Erika, don’t be so mean.”
Vincent: “Good. We found another part for the quest objective. Just one thing left to find.”
Camelia: “That’s right. Master Erika, mister Vincent, let’s work hard!”
[Explanation]: ‘An ear of feral giant apes. But, still, somehow I feel sad about those apes, they died so sadly. Even though they looked so cute while eating. Sniff sniff.’
Vincent: "You don't need to tell me that. Now, let's go."
[Explanation]: ‘Erika and her party walk through the dark corridors of the dungeon. It's kind of scary. I hope they will be alright.'
---
{Place}: Dungeon's Second Room
---
Vincent: “As I thought the bear’s body is missing. So it’s as the rumors said. The bodies of dead monsters are absorbed by the dungeon. But, I wonder what about humans though.”
Erika: “Who cares about dead bodies, let’s just search the room.”
Camelia: “Okay.”
Vincent: "Camelia, you search that side of the room, and Erika, you search this site."
[Explanation]: ‘Vincent and Camelia start their search around the room. Erika looks around the room grumbling all the while with her hands crossed.'
Camelia: “Just what will we find, what will we find~ I hope it’s something good, something good~ what do you think master Erika, master Erika~ of cuddling with me for all year long, all year long~.”
[Explanation]: ‘Oh, what a catchy song. But, it seems they found something. Let me see, hmm. Isn’t that...’
Camelia: “I see some handle of a weapon in that rubble. Mister Vincent, please help me.”
Vincent: “Alright, let’s get rid of the rubble and take it out. Erika, you help too.”
Erika: “No! I will ruin my nails. Even though I freshly painted them last night.”
Vincent: “Ehh, Erika you… just what are you thinking about.”
Erika: “What!? You expect me to ignore my appearance? Just because I have to delve into that stupid dungeon every day now. It doesn't mean I can neglect how I look!”
Camelia: "You are really pretty, master Erika."
Erika: "Shut up, you stupid fox!
Camelia: “But it's fine Master Erika, it’s fine. The two of us will do it. So you can observe the surroundings for any dangers. It’s also a really important job after all.”
Erika: “Hmph, I will do just that.”
Vincent: “Camelia, you shouldn’t be so indulgent towards her. Doing such work should be a good experience for her, I think.”
Camelia: “No, that is alright mister Vincent. Master Erika is unfortunately absolutely incapable of doing such menial work. When she still had her shop running, she would just break everything, so she always left all of the menial things to me.”
Vincent: “I just wonder how she was able to become a magic-user and the shop owner with that personality of hers.”
Camelia: “Well, master Erika isn’t that bad of a person when you get to know her more.”
Vincent: “That’s...I know it. I know that she is a kind and caring person, despite her certain flaws. Even though she might sometimes seem a bit ignorant about some matters, she is still properly thinking about them in her way. Also, she is really beautiful and her heart is pure. I’m just a bit worried.”
Camelia: “Worried? Mister Vincent! Do you… master Erika…, are you perhaps in lo…”
Erika: “What are you two whispering about behind my back? Is there anything fun? Let me in too.”
Camelia: “No, uhm, that is…, Oh, that’s right. Look, Master Erika, we found a…”
[Explanation]: ’Oh, what a splendid looking treasure they found.’
Camelia: “It's a glaive.”
[Explanation]: ‘A bit old war glaive of some forgotten adventurer that sacrificed his life heroically, to protect his escaping comrades, especially his beloved Henrietta, a healer in their party. Hmm. It seems that Henrietta loved his best friend Roger. And after their escape, they lived happily ever after, while completely forgetting about the sacrifice of their friend. So sad. Sniff sniff.’
Vincent: “It’s two-handed war glaive. It looks old but durable.”
Erika: “I see, that’s good than. Let’s go back, I’m already sick of this place.”
Camelia: “But, master Erika. It’s just the first tutorial quest. It’s just the beginning of a beginning. It’s like the second day in your Magic Academy you went to five years ago.”
Erika: “Ugh, don’t remind me of that place. Hmph. You sure talk big even though you are just a critter. Vincent, we are going back.”
Vincent: “Yeah, let’s go back for now and report to the guild. Tomorrow we will try with a second tutorial quest.”
Erika: “Ugh.”
Vincent: “Erika, are you sure about this job? There are a lot more and different ways to earn money, which is less dangerous. If you aren’t sure about all this then maybe we should…”
Erika: “No, I said at that time, that I will do it, the dungeon-delving. So don’t ask me dumb questions.”
Camelia: “Master Erika…”
Vincent: “I see, if you are sure than I won’t ask anymore. I also said at that time. I will stay with you and help you with taking back your precious shop, so don’t worry. It’s also partly my fault after all. I’m here for you so you can depend on me wholeheartedly. I will even gladly give my life if it’s necessary.”
Erika: “Uhm, that’s… No one is going to die, so don’t be stupid.”
Camelia: “Master Erika, are you blush... Aggh, it hurts, my ears hurt, master Erika.”
Erika: “Don’t talk rubbish Camelia or I will seal your tongue with magic again.”
Camelia: “No, not again. I’m sorry, I was just joking.”
Erika: “Hmph, let’s go back.”
Vincent: “Yeah.”
Camelia: “To the guild, let’s go!”
[Explanation]: ‘After a short walk, they were back at the guild.'

Sometime later
{Place}: The Adventurers and Dungeon-delvers Guild Hall
- - -
Quest Giver Rena: “Welcome in The Adventurers and Dungeon-delvers Guild. How may I help you?”
Vincent: “Hi, we are here to deliver the goods for the quest. But, there was another person here that was responsible for us if I may say so, is she not here right now?”
Quest Giver Rena: “She isn’t. It’s just me today. But, don’t be so sad, I can handle your… uh-huh, business just as well as her.”
Erika: "What?!"
Vincent: “No, that’s a bit...”
Erika: “Where are you looking, you idiot!”
Quest Giver Rena: “Don’t be so angry little girl. But, still… how surprising you were able to complete the quest. I didn’t expect it at all.”
Erika: “What did you say!? Of course, we completed it. It was actually to easy for us. Next time, you should give us something that is a challenge. Or I might die from boredom instead.”
Quest Giver Rena: “Ho, quite the confident young lady you are, aren’t you? Or maybe an overconfident little brat that doesn’t know how the world works. I can never tell the difference.”
Erika: “You… You really can talk for a stupid looking bimbo-woman.”
Vincent: “Please Erika, Miss, calm down.”
Erika: “Shut up, Vincent. It’s between me and that dumb bimbo, whose only traits are her somewhat average looks and stupidly big breasts.”
Quest Giver Rena: “And what about you, why are you hiding your face? Are you so ugly that you are too embarrassed to show it in public?”
Erika: “Th...that’s not it. It’s just my style, my style.”
Erika: “You...I won’t take any more of your slander. Where’s the Guild Master, I will file a complaint. You will lose your job here!”
Quest Giver Rena: “As if. Well, you can try, but it will be wasted effort. You know, I have a really 'special' relationship' with the Guild Master you see, so you won’t do a thing to me.”
Erika: “That’s…! You…! I hate you!”
Camelia: “Master Erika, please calm down.”
Quest Giver Rena: “Hahaha, you can hate me all you want, little girl. And you honey, I’m sorry but I can’t go out with you for now after all. You understand, right?”
Vincent: “No, I’ve never…”
Erika: “Vincent, Camelia, we are going out.”
Vincent: “Wait Erika, we still have to deliver the quest.”
Erika: “I said we are going out! Stupid Vincent, just do whatever you want with that bimbo-girl. Camelia, come.”
Camelia: “Yes, master Erika.”
Quest Giver Rena: “Fufu, goodbye and come again.”
Erika: “That idiot bimbo. And that stupid Vincent. Just what is so good about her.”
Camelia: “Master Erika, please calm down. That’s right. You should be able to level up today, so let’s visit The Level Goddess’s Shop.”
Erika: “Leveling up, is it? That’s right. Let’s just forget about them. I will level up today and show them both.”

Disclaimer: I'll leave this on here for anyone to read. The last time I uploaded a chapter was nearly a year ago, and to all the readers who still kept their trust in me after I came back from my umpteenth hiatus, I am sorry. I will not carry on writing this; I started off without the correct foundations of a novel, nor commitment to fully finish it and I do not want to lie to you all once again. Maybe one day, I may decide to re-write the novel, with a new basis or at least a comprehensive starting point with many of the narrative errors cleared up; but, till then, this is goodbye. And, once again, thank you for the motivation you gave me. Even now, I see many emails come through with people commenting. Goodbye. A child blessed by the Astral. An unprecedented destiny. Watch his path, as he marches up the stairway of Heaven. A March of a Sovereign. [Adventure, Wuxia, Martial Arts, Fantasy] This is a Qihuan novel; it has eastern and western fantasy elements. More often than not in Xianxia or Xuanhuan there is a severe lack of character development, being a western writer I'm changing that. My characters, from my totally unbiased view, feel fleshed out and actually have emotions. This is my first attempt at a novel, I'm writing as a means to better convey my thoughts. I will, hopefully, steadily improve chapter-by-chapter. I'm very open to feedback and constructive criticism. As one can see this is a cultivation novel, so you know how this goes. I've decided to jump-start the whole rags-to-riches scenario. He is strong from the start and is given the utility to do so. *The cover art is not my own, all rights reserved to the owner. I will take it down if necessary. *The style of the recent chapters is comparatively different than Chapter 1.

Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
