《Justice》Chapter 8 - Tsumaki Kami

As I heard the rest of Chow's story I was astonished by all of these things that happened years ago.
"Chow, is this all really true?"
"It is," Said a voice behind me.
"WHAT THE HELL?!?"
"Damn kid, chill"
"I'LL CHILL WHEN PEOPLE STOP SNEAKING UP BEHIND ME!!!"
When I had finally cooled down, I looked behind me to see who it was. I was taken by surprise.
It was a girl wearing a white robe with long blonde hair in a ponytail. She looked like she had depression
"Hello, my name is Tsumaki Kami. Nice to meet you Laika"
"Hello Tsumaki, it's nice to meet you too"
"Please, call me Maki" She blushed and looked away from me.
"So, do you know how to use that thing?"
"What, this," I said lifting up the Halberd from behind me.
"I can barely lift this thing up, much less use it"
"Well I can teach you if you want"
My eyes lit up and I imagined myself being able to use the halberd like a true knight. I nodded my head and Maki gave me a warning.
"Just so you know, this training will take weeks if not months to master"
"When I heard this my heart skipped a beat and I thought to myself"
Am I really ready for this? Am I ready to take on the name of a Dragon Knight?
After a whole 5 minutes of thinking, I looked up at the sky and smiled.
"Let's do this"
Chow and Maki smiled.
"Come on we need to get to the training ground to start your practice"
We walked for 2 hours before we reached a tall old tree.
"What are we doing here Chow, this is just a tree"
"Oh, you'll see Laika"
Chow removed a wooden cover from a knot in the tree that revealed a slot.
He took out his sword and stabbed it into the slot and almost immediately, a part of the tree shifted forward and slid open.
"Follow me, and try not to hit your head!"
He jumped in and started falling
"Oh hell no, I'm not doing that"
But before I could back away from the tree I felt a soft hand that pushed me forward.
Well Fuck, here we go
