《Starsign Lord》Auto Training - Chapter 8

As the woman named Felina and the other students saw this, they showed a face of surprise. They did not expect to see "Black Soul Stones."
-
At that time, the food for Fraus arrived, and Fraus started to eat his food. He, of course, listened to all the conservation. He knew about the thing that they were talking about. The soul stones worked for the "Starsign Users." Using these stones, it is possible to improve "Starsign Energy." It is an essential thing for all "Starsign Users."
Fraus drank his beer, thinking about the creatures and the location they were discussing.
I read about the "Cursed Graveyard." These places manifested without notice, and after manifesting, dark creatures started to show up from these places, until all of the creatures from the "Cursed Graveyard" were killed. The dark creatures will not cease to exist.
Fraus also knew that these places used for training for some of the "Starsign Users" have different levels of danger zones; as the level of danger zone increases, the creatures that emerge from the zone will be stronger.
"I would like to go there to train, but I have no basic training whatsoever."
Fraus wanted to go to the "Mirkaw Village" and wanted to kill "Undead Walkers," which are "zombies" in a sense, to earn "Black Soul Stones," but he did not have any training and it was too early for him to do it.
Day 1 - 13.00 AM
The purple-clad students had already left the tavern, and Fraus had finished his food and drank three more beers afterward.
At that time, the bartender woman came to him and asked
"The price for everything is 10 copper, 5 copper for the chicken, and 5 copper for the five beers."

Fraus nodded and gave 10 coppers to the bartender and asked
"How much is the room price?"
The bartender woman smiled and answered.
"It is a daily 5 copper coin,"
Fraus again nodded and gave another 10 copper coins to the woman and wanted a room for himself.
-
After that, Fraus went upstairs and found his room and entered the room.
He entered the room, and he nodded as he looked around the room. It was pretty basic; one table and two chairs, one bed, and a dush cabin and toilet. It was pretty standard for a basic tavern.
Fraus smiled and then conjured the two copies of his At that time, he ordered them with a whisper.
"Do pushups when I am sleeping."
After the order from the Fraus, the two white-masked copies started to push up on the ground.
After he gave the orders, Fraus himself slept on the bed without thinking about anything else. He was tired.
"Day 1 – 6:00 PM"
He woke up and looked towards the ground. As he looked, he noticed that two copies were still doing pushups. He smiled and nodded. After that, he unsummoned them with a thought.
After they were unsummoned, Fraus saw a status to open for himself. The status was not an individual specialty of his, but as he knew, people could only see their status when they first tried to know their "Starsign" and no more. Now that he could see a little bit different "Status System," he was happy and did not think about it more.
"Fraus Deephearth"
"Level – Candle
"Starsign Energy—2.0"
"STR" = 1.2
"Agility" = 1.1
"Endurance = 1.1"
"Starsign" = "Gemini"
"Pathway"
"Genuine Gemini-Ability 1"
-
Abilities
-
Geminis – "2" (Copy)
Skills (Non-Starsign Pathway Abilities)
He smiled a little bit after seeing his status again and finishing the inspection. His status changed to that of a game character, and the system told him in his mind that he could conjure and look at his status by wanting to look at it.

NOTE: I, as an 'author' am on a(n) (indefinite?) Hiatus. Without getting into too many details, the person who convinced me to write, who was my muse and my everything, is no longer in my life. I think about writing and I get physically ill and ache in ways that transcend the physical. I want to want to write, but I cannot find the energy. Life events, combined with apparently thin-skin when it comes to personal attacks on this platform, make it impossible for me. The messages, comments, and reviews I recieve(d) were so detrimental to my mental health that I've already removed one story from this website. This one remains up only because the criticisms located in this work are about my writing, and not personal attacks.I just felt like I should put something out there for anyone who is thinking about starting this story. It is not completed. I don't know that it ever will be at this point. I have lost my muse.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not everything in this world is natural, and it's only natural to fear the unnatural. Fortunately for Manning, he was natural. Unfortunately, he found himself to be in a very unnatural state. Manning was trapped inside of a gemstone, called a dungeon core. Luckily for Manning, he found himself capable of using his newly found unnatural power to make a nature filled forest. With the help of Cara, his unnatural roommate, and Ash, his nature spirit companion, Manning dreams of covering the continent with the most beautiful and dangerous forest it has ever seen. His only other goals are to protect himself and Cara, and if he could ever remember, recover his memories. This is my first time attempting to write anything. This is the first Well of Souls story. Nathan Hunter, as well as five hundred other seniors at his high school, found themselves pulled into the deadly game in an alternate dimension of their school, where they had to survive against increasingly tough monsters while completing a series of Challenges as their numbers continued to dwindle with no end in sight. With no way off the property, nor any way out of the alternate and back to their real dimension, Nathan and his classmates battle for survival in the hopes that eventually, they will be freed from the game. Warning: Things will get repetitive at times, particularly after Arc 1. The reason for this becomes clear in the first couple of chapters of Arc 2. It is simply the nature of the lives they lead.

The Martyrs: the Generation that Burns
“Perhaps we are indeed the main characters of the story, but who is to say we are not the Galactic Republic in the prequel --- No matter how many victories we seize or how many foes we slay, our fate has been sealed from the very beginning.” --- KR043. When a portal to another world was created in the deserts of Nevada, the United States, humanity was faced with a choice. Neglect it, and pray nothing happens. Or confront it, and in doing so, pay a dear cost. Earth chose the latter, and thus, came the heroic tales of the Phasewalker Corps. And thus, came the numberless skirmishes, battles, and wars that would ravage across Humanity's enemies. And thus, came the warcry that would soon echo through countless worlds. "For Earth! For Humanity! For...Victory!" This is the story of the generation that burns. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Challenge. The cover is custom created on the Webnovel website.

Celestial Spark
Mages traditionally make poor fodder, but with proper training and motivation, possess near limitless potential. For mage teams, the battle camps of the Upper Realms provide both, with missions ranging from orc hunts to political espionage. This tale follows one such team of four who strive to prove themselves in a world that would rather overlook them. Loyalty, honour, and devotion are contrasted by avarice, treachery, and apathy, though at times it can be difficult to separate vice from virtue. For though all people, whether they hail from the peripheries or the kingdom capital, are subjects whose fates are bound to the stars, their choices must be their own. Any comments or questions are welcomed.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
