The door was knocked and a voice passes into the room.

"Young man I have bought the food and the wine." Boss

Eric stands up from the bed and opens the door, takes the food and the wine and pay the money to the shopkeeper.

"Boss, what is your name?" Eric

"My name is Bart." Bart

Bart closes the door of the room and Eric starts to eat and drink. After a long and tired day, he falls asleep on the bed.

The knocks on the door wake up Eric and start cursing that person. He opens the door, sees the woman is the person that was together with Natalie yesterday.

"Good morning Eric." Matilda

"Good morning miss." Eric

"You can call me Matilda." Matilda

"The Princess wants you to go her private mansion to discuss the deal that you made yesterday." Matilda

"I want to eat breakfast first" Eric

"You will eat breakfast together with at the mansion." Matilda

Matilda starts walking towards the carriage and Eric follow her. She opens the door, they get on the carriage and go to the mansion.

Eric and Matilda stand in front of a beautiful and luxurious mansion. She goes inside and he follows behind. They arrive in the garden and she points to Natalie.

"You can go and sit with the Princess." Matilda

Eric sits near Natalie and looks at her. He wants to know if she said that he kills her brother or involve in the incident.

"What did you tell your parents about your brother's death." Eric

"I said to them the same words that I told you yesterday. My brother offended a powerful person and he was killed by him." Natalie

"Your parents believed the story?" Eric

"They did not believe all story but I presented them with evidence about my brother vile deeds and they know what character he is. They want to know who is the powerful man." Natalie

"Do not involve me in your family matters. Now it's time for you to give me the reward." Eric

"Let's go to the library to discuss after the breakfast because this word can spread panic to the citizens and they forbid to say it." Natalie

The maids serve the breakfast and the two people start eating when they finish the maids come and clean the table. Natalie goes inside the house and Eric follows her. They arrive in the library and sit. Natalie looks Matilda.

"Do not allow anyone to enter inside the library." Natalie says with a serious tone.

Matilda nods and stands guard in front of the door.

"Before start the discussion you should take and keep this map. This is the map of Aspen continent. It can help you if you decide to travel." Natalie

"Thank you." Eric

Eric takes the map and put it inside his space storage.

"I will tell you many secrets so do not reveal what you hear here to other people otherwise someone may try to kill you." Natalie

Eric nods and let Natalie continue.

"The witches are humans that can cast powerful magic because of the magic some people felt threatened and try to hunt them. The witches wander around this continent and try to stay away from others. Around the age of 16, the power of witch will be awakened, only a few females can be witches." Natalie

"How they learn to cast magic?" Eric

"Along with the power of the witch, they awaken the spell memories that their predecessors used." Natalie

"Why the word witch is banned?" Eric

"Because many people think that the witches are followers of the devil and they afraid of them. This word can spread panic and fear among people." Natalie

"Who forbid to say the word witch?" Eric

"The Church of Light order all the Empires to forbid that word. They control all the continent." Natalie

"The Church of Light and the witches are enemies?" Eric

"Yes, the church hunts and kill them because they believe that the witches are heretics. They execute the witches with the most inhumane way in public. This is the reason some witches work with the Church of Darkness" Natalie

"They have a deep hatred for each other. What is the Church of Darkness? What is the relationship between them?" Eric

"Both of them use each other to accomplish their goals. Most of the paladins or dark paladins are fanatics and brainwashed by their church." Natalie

"The church of darkness and church of light are enemies?" Eric

"Yes, they are. In Aspen Continent, most of the people believe in God of Light Ardiel. Both gods were enemies in the past." Natalie

"The church of light can command the Empires and Kingdoms why they do not eliminate the church of darkness?" Eric

"Because the church of darkness is hidden and no one knows the location." Natalie

"Your parents know that you are a witch?" Eric

"No, they do not know otherwise they will call the church." Natalie looks downcast. She remembered her aunt dragged by the guards to the execution stage by the orders of her father, the king. Her mother became sick after the death of her sister. After that incident, she vowed to create a kingdom that it is safe for the witches and can call home.

Eric looks at her but he did not say anything. He thought about what will happen if he decided to stay in his previous world. Maybe I would be like the witches here hunted by the government.

"Do you know anything about monsters?" Eric

"No, I do not know." Natalie

"It is a pity." Eric

"Eric I need your help." Natalie

"I need your help to take the throne and stop the opposition of the nobles." Natalie

"Can women take the throne?" Eric

"Yes, they can take the throne." Natalie

"Why do you care about the throne?" Eric

"I want to create a Kingdom that normal people and witches can live in harmony without killing, hate and prejudice. This is my goal." Natalie

The answer shocked Eric for a moment before return to normal. Eric found the most important obstacle towards the goal is the church of light.

"Have you thought about the consequences of your action?" Eric

"Yes, I have. I do not care about the holy war that the church will start. The church of light is like a tyrant that oppress people that have a different belief from them. I do not want to see those people die because of the church decision." Natalie

"You have a magnificent and difficult goal. I will help you to take the throne and oppose the nobles. After all, you care about me and my safety."Eric

Eric looks Natalie and winks at her. Natalie blushes and looks away from Eric.

"Who cares about a crazy person like you?" Natalie

Natalie thought about it and decides to ask Eric.

"Eric, what is your goal?" Natalie

"My goal is to have many adventures and battle powerful people with our life on the line." Eric

"Natalie, I will take my leave now. When you need my help for the throne you can come and find me." Eric

Eric stands and leaves the manor.

"What an interesting and mysterious man. I want to know more about him." Natalie thought and blushes.

Matilda comes inside the library and sees the Princess's face red.

Eric is walking towards the Inn.

"If I help the Princess win the throne, the life here will become more interesting and fun." Eric thought
