《I am succubus' favorite food》Scapegoat

"I understand, the Sellen don't let any of their children live as they want" said Bastian worried about the girl in front of him besides being a test he can't interfere with he will only see one more of the Sellen Sons family be killed.
"Move forward."
Milla pointed her arm at the worm that was in a state of rage devouring the entire Earth in front of it opening its mouth that could swallow Milla's entire body in one bite
"Medusa" said Milla, shooting at the snake that was coiled around her arm, which increased in size, becoming two meters in diameter, entering the mouth of the worm that kept running towards her, devouring everything in front of her.
"What a pity, another child with immense potential lost..." thought Bastian, until he heard Milla speak.
"One, two, three" the snake crumbled into the worm's stomach, electrocuting him and leaving the worm's body full of nerves, completely paralyzing his body that was immobile in a situation that tortured him.
Because just by closing his mouth he could already eat a high-class meat with Milla being inside the worm's mouth stepping on the mound of dirt that would have swallowed the worm
"So how did I do?" Milia said, looking vacantly at Bastian.
"You were perfect. Now get out of its mouth before it can regain its movements," Bastian said, tugging Milia's arm out of harm's way.
"Family problems? Seems everyone has their own problems, though mine doesn't even know what's going on. No demon has haunted me yet."
Thought Arseny looking around.
Milia slapped Bastian's arm causing him to let go of her hand.
Then at once
she started walking and as she passed Arseny she released a small lightning bolt from the tip of her finger hitting Arseny's waist catching his attention, she made him look at her, who looked back at her with a mischievous grin
But in a few moments, he was back with an expressionless face and lifeless eyes.

"Is she acting, so she betrayed her own family? What a strange girl!"
Arseny thought curiously trying to understand that girl's situation and why she was doing all this acting.
"Arseny, you're next, come."
Bastian spoke pointing to the place where Arseny needed to stay.
"Of course, sir," he replied with a smile.
"She doesn't seem to like me very much, so it would be best to avoid trouble."
thought Arseny
"What am I going to do? There is no way to defeat this thing" thought Noah standing in the place Bastian pointed out.
-Well, now it's time to call your replacement- said Bastian touching the worm that could no longer move, as several parts of its body would have been burned, but if it stayed alive in a few hours it would return to its original form , and that way it could not deny Milia the entrance to the university.
"Sir, it is impossible for me to do what you ask," Arseny said calmly, concluding that it would be better to be expelled for failing the test.
Even because it would be much better for him to be sent back to earth and be part of one of the forgotten ones
This ended up catching the attention of Bastian, who would stop in front of Arseny, who would take his gun. "What would be the reason? If you're at that stage, say you passed Sya's test!"
Bastian spoke emanating power and judging Arseny by his.
"Sir, my creation is still in the early stages of my race."
Arseny spoke without showing any sign of nervousness, even though the gun touching his head could kill him at any moment he knew that for Bastian to kill someone like him would be easier than eating a banana.
"I get it. You're the guy who's creating the incubus race. You have a very complicated career. You can go back to your place now." Bastian said taking pity on Noah and looking him in the face. Noah knew what he was thinking.

If I keep this up, I'll end up a low level incubus and spend the rest of my life as a mere servant to some high level succubus.
"I preferred it when he didn't seem to like it when my grief hurt" thought Arseny looking at Bastian.
"More than useless couldn't even handle a simple worm?"
Said Arky trying to put Noah down just to get the attention of the two girls that were in the group.
"At least I didn't pee on my uniform" Noah said pointing to the urine stain on Arky's uniform.
"But...but how did you do that?" Arky put his hand on the spot where the urine stain was.
"I may not have noticed it before but the smell was so strong that when I walked past you it was impossible for anyone not to know where it came from."
"Hun, you bastard you'll pay me back when we go to train this if you pass," Arky said, standing proud despite the humiliating situation he found himself in.
"If I had known he was an ogre, I wouldn't have used my skill.... /" thought Bastian, looking at the two of them.
"Hey, you two, wake up" Bastian snapped his fingers, making an ultrasonic sound that except for those who had not been tested, would be impossible to hear a noise that could cause nausea if listened to for more than seven seconds.
"Oh, where am I?" said the child, sleeping soundly.
"Yaw ~ Is it my turn?" the child spoke.
Then she became distracted looking at the paralyzed worm. "Wow, I've never seen this creature before."
"Binna it's your turn, you're next Devian, so don't go to sleep." Bastian put a hand to his face disappointed with both of them.
Bastian threw the translucent sphere to draw the attention of another worm, causing another worm to appear almost instantly that would be twice the size of the previous one.
"I won't say anything, finding another of the same size would be impossible, so I'll just ignore it" thought Bastian, knowing that the test was no longer fair.
Binna stretched and her eyes went completely white .She pointed at the worm jumping in and out of the ground moving like a dolphin being practically swimming on the ground opening its mouth which would have thousands of teeth compared to the previous one which had less than a thousand teeth
"Stop!" The worm instantly stopped moving when it heard Binna's voice, closed its mouth, entered the Earth and fled without trying to attack Binna.
"Binna, my congratulations you may return to your seat."
Bastian smiled patting her head.
"Davian, come."
"Alright, I'll do my best."
Davian stood where everyone else was. He ran his hand across the ground and pulled out a glowing sword that had a yellow color causing him to increase the size of the sword becoming bigger than the worm itself which is twelve meters
"So, what an exaggeration" thought Arseny looking at the show Devian was putting on.
Bastian had already drawn attention to a third worm that with a single sword strike from Davian the worm split in half, causing both parts to fall to the side and the other people.
"More than a stench," Binna said, touching a part of the worm.
"My God..." Bastian sighed looking at Devian who would have failed the test.
"Come see me later because it's already your fifth time and this time I'm going to make you accept. We can't lose you and this time you're in luck."
Bastian spoke looking at Arseny with a smile that made his intention clear.
"I'll be used as a scapegoat...more than bullshit."
I sighed looking at the two of them, knowing what would happen just because they couldn't lose a talent like Devian to the Archangels or the unknown.

If I can deliver on all that is another question, but I will give it my best. As a further note, I am not using any of the usual strict realms and extreme power differences. It’s more about gathering and refining qi. Whoever uses his chances, sneak attacks, intuitions, and skills in a better way wins. However, having more or better qi will help, but I am not at a point where I have written a lot of that, so I might promise too much. Thanks for reading so far and checking my synopsis out, now you might give the story a try. Have fun. The picture is from JCK5D (Pixabay)

Tabula Rasa : An Unbound Adventure
It starts as many things do: a clean slate, an empty page. What once was set in stone and wholly writ is gone, and all that's left is the vague notion of absence, a fullness lacking. The feeling of being tetherless, pathless, without direction or responsibility is something many would find terrifying. Others might find it freeing - an opportunity to strike out on new adventures and explore the unknown.Either way, first they have to figure out where they are and how they leave. ====== My first novel on this platform! An avid GameLit/LitRPG fan, I decided to start writing this when I seemed to exhaust all of my options for well reviewed content on the site! Inspiration for the world/general feeling is a mix of Azarinth Healer, Abyssal Road Trip, Winterborn, and the Power of Ten series, with a strong reliance on 3.5 and PF1 frameworks as a scaffold for the world. I see Arc 1 as a Robinson Crusoe style coming to terms scenario, lots of exploration of the System, the MC's options, the island and encounters with the denizens and visitors of the Timeless Isle, with a non-zero amount of introspection around their long term goals. I'll publish as frequently as I'm able but don't have a regular cadence planned at the moment.
