《The Storytellers》The Prologue: Introduction

Gather round, children.
I know that many of you have been hearing about creation from many people and many sources. Your parents, your friends, your ministers, and the like.
These stories vary wildly in their interpretations of creation and contradict and twist each other out of all sense. Many of these stories claim to be responsible for all aspects of creation. They claim to explain the creation of the Universe and the Earth. Of mankind and all animal life. Of the ocean and stars and mountains.
Tell me, children, if you were to sit and debate your interpretations of creation among yourselves, would you not be confused and hurt by how different the views of your friends are from your own? Disparate opinions only serve to sow strife among friends.
Well, not to worry, dear children. Today, as your Storyteller, it is my responsibility to endeavor to explain to you the true story of our creation and the creation of our universe as I learned them when I was young.
It is not a story of a single god or pantheon. It is not a story of a single act of divine creation or accident of cosmic proportions.
It is a story of the lives and struggles of many great beings. It is a story that spans incomprehensible amounts of time and space.
The stories that have been told to you are not wrong, my children. They are simply one small interpretation of a much larger proceeding. They need the proper context for you to understand how they fit together. This is what we shall discover today.
So come, children. Listen close. Your parents have forgotten the true stories that were told to them in their time. They remember only bits and pieces and string them together to make their own versions for your enjoyment. So, listen closely, children. Listen close and learn of how the great beings created this world and how, one by one, they rested...

Just a Rock
There was once a writer that felt like creating a story about a rock. A rock so amazing that its story just needed to be told. How amazing? Not amazing at all, on the contrary, quite ordinary. Don't believe me? Then read on. Edit: Resumed the story. Can’t do any more audio versions for now. I plan on editing some of the now non-applicable author notes and maybe rearranging the two side stories or combining them with the deleted chapters.
