Ow... What a headache, what's happening... Wilford are you okay?... Car... Ah, I remember, I got kidnapped. They seem smarter than the last one's this time, impersonating Wilford and guiding me to a car... The stones! where... Thank goodness I have... Why is the green stone across from me?

In the front of the van sitting in the passenger seat, a shaved man was toying with the stone Lang had dropped when he was knocked out. This pure translucent made the stone look like a shimmering gem, as valuable as it looked he had no problem pocketing the item for himself.

"Man, we really don't have to do much to restrain this kid haha."

"No joking, a translator, that means he's mute and blind, as long as he doesn't have this he can't even hear us."

The men chortled, the job they were tasked with was to simply keep the child for a week, have him go hungry, but not to starve him. Simply, because this was to frighten him, and nothing more.

Despite the dubious sounding rules, the assignment paid double of the usual kidnappings the company received, and because of that, the two men driving back to the hideout were in a jolly mood.

Lang who glanced down had confirmed the other colors, lazily floating, as usual, were clumped together right below him in a bag, but as he stared ahead the green light was not on him.

They took one of the stones... Do they know what it is?... I'll have to wait until someone helps to ask them to grab it back.

The van had driven quickly, arriving at a warehouse on the outskirts of the town where the two men had rendevous with the rest of the team. Upon entering while dragging Lang in they shoved him into a room with a simple mattress.

Laughter could be heard from outside the room as the men celebrated the joke of a mission, and oblivious to it all Lang sat down on the floor, contemplating on when he would leave.

A day had passed, Lang had been given bread, and nothing else, his stomach rumbling as it begged for more sustenance, the men however would not give him more. His bathroom usage was under the watch of the men who did not want to put up with the stench of bodily stench pervading the warehouse and had opted to let him use a hole in the ground next to a tree outback.

Mom is getting worried by now I'm sure... Uncle Wil this isn't your fault, be sure not to be hard on yourself.

Day two had arrived very quickly, the lack of stimulation was slowly eroding in Lang's mind as he realized something, the fact that all of his recent training was useless, no matter how hard he trained, the outcome was him still being too weak to change a single part in this.

The lights that he had in the ever-so-long silence and darkness of the void of his mind were the only things that had kept him more comforted than he should be. Their gliding paths were the only entertainment he had, however, he knew the sight was lacking just one more piece, the green that shone away from him.

...It looks like the guy who stole the stone is moving somewhere...

"Madam, Reynolds has arrived!"

"...Reynold, tell me the areas you've checked so far."

"Yes... Our squadron has checked multiple districts in the town, considering from what you told me exactly six hours have passed since you reported to use to begin the search. There are no reported cases of speeding violations, if we consider the time and speed, along with the areas we have checked, the areas that are the most suspicious are mid to outer areas."

"...Continue, when we catch them, I want every piece out of their mouth. They're daring enough to take on a job like this right? Then this country can lift human laws on animals."

"Yes..."

"Lang... I'll be there soon... Alicia... come back soon too..."

"Madam"

"Ah, yes? Wilford?"

"I'm deeply sorry..."

"No one would have guessed this would happen in this type of setting, I don't blame you anymore."

On the third day, Lang had once more been taken into the vehicle, traveling further and changing to a different location, his weakening body was easily handled by the men. The behavior was concerning to him, Lang had picked up the atmosphere from the way they rushed to move him, it was frantic, pressured, and more violent than before.

"Shit shit shit, there was a reason why it was so much money."

"This fucking kid, whose parents have this many people under them."

"Thomas, send a message to Noah and tell him to set up some distractions and diversions."

The late afternoon sun was settling as the van arrived at a further location, a factory unmaintained for decades stood as the group entered an old air stank of metal and rotting pallets adorned the location.

Langs mind grew weary from lack of proper nutrient and the silence of enduring by himself, the anger he held increased, towards himself, towards these people, and towards whoever had hired them.

Hungry... Sleepy... Mom... I'm sorry, I'm not strong enough, I made you cry I'm sure...

Oh... That guy is moving again... the light is getting smaller... He's coming I'm sure I'll receive some food in just a bit then... bread... yep I got bread again.

Why me though... I just wanted to live a bit more normally... I hate them, is it because I'm blind? Deaf? .... I can't even voice out my frustrations... don't cry, Lang! Even though you hate it endure! They'll be here soon.

Days four and five passed silently, on the fourth day they allowed him to eat a bit more, dried fruit and beans. As excited as he was, his psyche was showing wear and tear, the insolation is waning him. The kidnapping before was quickly resolved however this was different the strangers this time had far more experience in comparison. With the constant relocations and diversions, there was a lower chance each time.

The air had gotten tenser, almost tangible as the irritation in the group had caused friction, it was not long before they had realized, a vent was needed to continue, Lang was the vent.

It started slow, with simply pushing his body around, however, the escalation turned up a notch from an incident where one of them had struck Lang, just light enough to not cause any visible injury.

From then on, it became a common occurrence every so often when one of them would either kick his stomach or side or slap the back of his head, in some cases a light mark would form but would disappear the next hour. The group had found leisure again, with frustrations gone, that had given him a chance.

With each beating, Lang began to bargain as he held out one of the stones and, bowing to the person to receive it as an offering. Slowly he was left one stone, however, he was happy, they had to lighten their blows to a much more tolerable level.

I... can't take it anymore... Mom... I'm sorry, you might not find me with them.

Arriving in the Green Cicada Region two women quickly turned into the terminal leading to the airport along with three men, The man slowly turned his sights back to see one of the women with her blond hair tightly fitted into a tight braid while whose suit clung onto her skin a deviously tempting fruit.

Gazing sharply at the phone in her hand, the woman trembled, with a fire lit in her eyes the beautiful pearly teeth gnashed together and while pocketed the phone as she rested in place.

Pausing, the group waited for their friend to settle down and join them, however, it was not long before each of them flinched, as a lust for blood had seeped into the air before discharging out rapidly, like a dagger that has been long stained with murder, the tangible sense of death and decay permeated before quickly retracting.

The whole terminal had frozen in that split second, as passengers trembled some kept their heads down, while others searched for the source.

"Stop worrying about that phone, we have to go quickly now."

"Captain, calm down, and hurry up."

"...RedLock."

"?!"

"!!"

"It looks like we have to work overtime now."

The morning sun had shone on day six Lang who sat up had decided to stretch, his days passed slowly and if he did not manage his time well, the lingering regrets of his training before would creep up in his mind. Upon slipping his shoes off he concentrated on every muscle as blood streamed through them.

It's been a while since I've felt my wrist so free...

Sweat dripped off of his forehead staining onto his already dirtied shirt as he held his planks, squats, and pushup positions. The everyday silence he experience had hard long hardened since his mind, the worst enemy he faced was in usual situations was himself.

I have to learn it all quickly, we moved somewhere else... I don't know if it'll happen again, I don't know how long I'll be here, with what I have, I... At least better than before... I have to, not again, don't let her worry... at least worry less...

What all have I learned?

They smell terrible, like sweat and iron.

I can track them now... I'll get those stones back someday.

For now... watch them Lang... no matter how much my eyes burn I have to watch where these colors are going... connect them into a map, like the house, once more...

Three seconds before a turn... match that in steps... seven... red and purple are now touching... that's a hallway... 1 minute to clear...

Turn there... straight...there's another turn... blue is... okay...

Memorizing the general layout of the building Lang had obtained a rough three-dimensional image of the structure and safely kept the image in his mind, for an hour he slowly burned the movements of the colors into his very being like an animal hunting its prey, watched unceasingly. With the more information he obtained, he had realized the patterns of the colors shifting, that this movement was more than likely a path the bandits had used to sweep the area.

Upon learning knowledge a grin had appeared, his first positive facial movement in days was one of a devilish smile.

The restroom break outside was more unusual today than the times before, as Lang started he had dropped the stone for yellow on the ground and covered it with his foot, and while finished he pressed down, the stone was then buried deeper into the soil and as he walked, he made sure to cover it up with dirt from the side.

Looking at the light under him and the light next to him he calmed his mind and kept the urging happiness from showing.

"Kid who the fuck are you staring at with those creepy eyes huh?!"

With Lang's condition, he was blind to the kidnapper's words, but reassuring himself and being reminded of the reactions to his lingering eyes that the servant and guards at the house have had recently he could only chuckle to himself as he thought.

Mister, you probably think I can see and hear you... but I assure you, I really am blind and deaf...
