《Colorful World》Prologue 1 - How it begins

“Freyaaaaa!!!!”
The sound of a booming voice echoed throughout the heavens as a figure burst from beyond the gate of a light blue pagoda, that was exiting a rip and ripple in space. His lean and built body that gleamed with power and domineering force could not hide the anguish in his eyes as he turned his head towards a woman.
”Rigus”
The voice responded in a mocking tone, a woman of celestial beauty with light purple eyes that could drive any man being had descended from her galactic war cruiser.
Rigus bellowed at her, his eyes swiftly turned into an all-encompassing rage from the anguish he had just been in.
“Where is our son Freya!”
“You mean this piece of decoration?”
Her eyes hinted for her followers to emerge, and they did so, presenting a sickly body so miserably beaten and lacerated that his joints and only joints were left with the white skin he once had.
”LIAM! Freya are you betraying everything we once had?!”
A giggle almost a snicker could be heard from her, ridicule could be heard as she spoke.
“Big Olf that is not our child.”
With a snap of her fingers the “child” turned into a mechanical puppet, countless runes flickered on the surface as it fell. Giving a snort she warped to Rigus and embraced him softly. Whispering in a tearful and soft voice.
“Rigus I’m sorry... I would never hurt our child…”
Rigus caught off guard, he hesitated for just a split second, but before he could push her away slowly and reprimand and ask her why she was doing this.
“Yes, I would never hurt our child; …But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t.”
Her pleasant voice that sounded as if chimes were blowing through the wind gently, turned into a deeper, more masculine, sinister voice with a contemptuous tone.

…
Alas, humans are weak creatures, many of whom would argue that they would be suspicious or doubtful of her words because the stunt would still hesitate in the face of a lifelong partner whispering sweet and pleading words into their ear.
With that hesitation, Rigus’s fate was sealed, as before he could attempt to break away, three glowing artifacts stabbed into him; simultaneously rupturing his heart, piercing his magnus core, and severing his spiritual veins.
A burst of booming laughter could be heard as the “woman” slowly morphed as bones were heard shattering and crunching, muscle tearing and rejoining, soon a slim and tall charming figure stared at Rigus displeasure could be seen in the eyes from the painful transformation.
Rigus threw up blood, desperately trying to grit his teeth and holding in the howls of pain, staring at the man with animosity refusing to acknowledge the life this man still possessed.
The man with a moon pattern in his eyes and a mole right under sneered
“Rigus. I have to thank you. I would have never known I could despise anyone as much as you”
”You… Why are you alive?! Freya and I should’ve finally killed you back at the Realm of Divinity!”
“Tsk tsk… who would’ve known I’d come back … and with a present for you, Rigus..”
From the warship, a live video feed was shown projected in space the eyes of a face, glazed and cold could be seen, sunken in and dried slightly, as the camera slowly zoomed out a face was slowly shown.
“LIAM!!”
The face belonged to Liam, Rigus cried with happiness just to see Liam’s face, only to be frozen still not a second later as the camera zoomed out until he could see no more, it was just… Liam's face, there was no body was attached to the head as dried blood was caked on gluing it to the floor.

Before Rigus could be taken back and react, the camera slowly moved to face the wall and further away once more, now showing something that brought his mental stability crashing down, as if a star body bomb had gone off in his head he saw Freya staring lifelessly back at her son, unmoving, muttering, “son… it’s mommy’s fault, son… it’s mommy’s fault” like a broken record she kept on muttering and as the camera panned backward even further. He finally could see what was then happening to her.
…
“GER’ALDE I’LL KILL YOU!!! TO MY WIFE, BY…. BY THOSE!!”
“Tsk tsk Rigus, ten years of my planning and acting will now drive you to your death, and revenge on her has been completed as well… but I will admit if I was a woman, and I didn’t have the desire to kill you, at least I know you were a good husband haha”
Ger’alde mockingly chortled at Rigus’s roars and cries, however, a cold chill pervaded him, stopping his laughter and darting back hundreds of meters, a face full of amazement slowly turned into a scowl.
“Truly Rigus… you’ve hidden one more card than I had thought.”
“GEEERRRR’AALLLLLDDDE!!”
Thunderous crackles of lightning and plasma whipped the air, rippling the fabric of space as the light soon super condensed with him at the center. Vortexes were forming having the pull of black holes and rip in the void to pull power all towards his magnus core. Rigus had lost his mental support, his wife, and his child. Now with all blood relations severed and shamed he had no reason to continue holding in the agony, letting the sphere of light collapse on itself.
The carrier that contained Ger’aldes’ followers reported to him the power scaling and readers could not foretell when his power would reach the limit and hinted that even if all the crew would activate and warm up the engines for warping they would not make it. With a solemn tone, Ger’alde understood.
“..My men I understand … when I arrive back at the Moon Ravine Galaxy all your families will be treated well… RIGUS are you sure you are willing to die like this along with your lover in the ship?!”
“…Freya, Liam, I’m sorry…”
Even Rigus’s tears were sucked into the collapse of his magnus core resulting in the thin balance breaking. A blinding light slowly but at the same time speedily spreader out in all directions, absorbing all surrounding space and swallowing it in the nothings of the void. Sonic booms continuously pushed out in space without a sound, Rigus’s pagoda was thrown back into his realm engulfed in green fluorescent flames and hurdling towards the lands below the clouds, on the other side space was erased like an eraser on a drawing, simply all colors vanished, the ship, the surrounding stars, energy, and matter.
…
“Crazy bastard…A friend be damned…”
Ger’alde was hastily speeding away using his thrusters and propulsion even overclocking his nano suit to give more power for his escape from the creeping light and heading back to his galaxy.
The light slowly faded backward as time ticked, space was slowly restoring itself, and when it reached the core of the explosion a shimmering radiant light blue gem was floating in its place, silently drifting into the cosmos…

Toothpick
“Hello! My humble audience! I, the Bard of the North, am going to tell you a tale. Nothing new, nothing old. A story of a hero, some may say, others a poor boy who was hated by the world.” The storyteller paused as he waited, right timing was everything when telling a story. Pacing… Too slow and the audience became bored then left without tossing even the smallest of coins. If he spoke too fast and rushed the story. It would leave the audience confused and having no reason to be impressed. So like any good storyteller, the Bard has to do a balancing act of sorts. Not too slow, not too fast. Just perfectly in the middle. “In a shattered country in the south, a novice princeling has the ambition to mend a torn tapestry that is his birthplace. Struggling to fend off those who would usurp the throne in an unending civil war spanning centuries. A mercenary that left only death in his wake, unable to stave off the monotony and peace of life. He looks back at the path laden with bodies, wondering if it was all worth it. Wandering souls summoned by a madman, travel away from a wasteland in a foreign land, the first alone, the others as companions. A deity, ancient in her years, waiting to be freed from a duty she no longer enjoys. For all these people and their stories, none are the hero of this tale. No, the hero is not grand, not wise, not ready.. he was punished for nothing of his doing, who was an outcast that was unloved by many, including his father.” This was always the big reveal novices use to jump off into their story. He did not start here, instead, like any good fishermen, he set the bait and waited until the fish bit before pulling. As he saw the audience's eyes focus, he then started the backstory. The harness, that stopped the listeners from having metaphorical whiplash. The foreshadowing. “But that is not where the story starts. No, not even the hero's birth. Where the story begins, is the boredom of the deity, a deity many know of. She who hunts for the impossible, the guide for those who have lost the path, the Huntress of Mallon--” A small pause, a short breath. “--All old names for a single powerful being that has roamed the grounds of this continent longer than any line of kings or queens, lords or ladies. A being of worship for many an individual…” One last breath. And he began singing the first verse.
