-Time and tide wait for nobody.

"The tools...?" Odion pressed on.

"Ah, yes." She said. "Well, I know where one of them is. The tools were all involved in creation, they are all bonded together, all paradoxical instruments. The gold chain for instance, is infinitely long and can stretch forever. It is with the Long Enduring, he is still up to his old tricks, I assume. Once you have one tool, it will be easy to find the rest since they all call to each other like lost siblings. Some of the tools may prove difficult to catch, like the two-headed cat—"

"Wait, what? Two heads?" Odion said, taking a step back in shock. He realised he still had the dagger out and put it back in the waistband of his faded jeans, he really needed to find a scabbard. His legs were getting tired of standing for so long, though. He almost envied the Ori for being able to sit down through all of this.

"Yes, two heads, was I speaking Yoruba?" the Ori said, her annoyance evident in her voice. "Children of nowadays, you people have no respect, interrupting your elders like that. I can't blame you, when you're always pressing your phone, how will you have respect? As I was saying, some of them may prove troublesome but once they've all been assembled, they come together to form an object."

"An object? What kind of object?" Odion asked.

"How do you expect me to know? Was I there? Nobody else was there, nobody knows, all we know is that with this relic, you can control reality itself. But only once, after that, the tools will scatter again, more distant that before. Possibly even harder to find than the last time."

"When you say reality itself, do you mean..."

"Yes," the Ori said as she turned to Odion again and though she didn't have eyes, he could feel her gaze on him, "with the relic, you can will your parents back into existence, if that is what you wish. Or you could make it so that all things were returned to their natural order and bring the gods back from their brink of extinction. Whoever holds the relic, holds reality itself but—"

"For only one try." Odion said grimly.

"Good, so maybe you are not as dumb as I thought."

"How do I find this Long Enduring?" Odion said. "Is it a he or a she or..."

The Ori gave a toothed grin. "You will see. Go to the tallest tree in the Marina market, and you will find what you seek, now leave before I kill you."

He looked up at the statue of Sango, he stood so great and proud. Odion gave the spirit one last look as he turned around and walked away. There was something off about that spirit and he knew somehow, deep inside of him, that he would meet her again.
