Jessica was lying on the bed, her eyes wide opened.

"Why is he so desperate to arrest Winchester as the murderer?" She mumbled.

"Sometimes...his reasons make little sense. Sometimes...his emotions make little sense. And sometimes...his health status makes little sense. How he almost blacks out, out of nowhere. With Flynn Hebrew nothing makes sense, nothing."

She sighed and turned to the other side of the bed; she closed her eyes and her father's face showed up.

"I know, Jessie, it's hard for you to see me leave. But don't worry, I'll be back soon. I have hired the finest one." His smile stayed there for a while until Jessica opened her eyes.

Clenching the blanket in her fist,

"Dad, he isn't the finest one. I'll prove to you I, won't let Flynn Hebrew live a peaceful life."

"He will suffer till the world ends, till my life ends..." She swore and sat upright to work again.

"You brought me here?" Hebrews wasn't able to register the information.

Eric nodded and kept the coffee mug down on the table.

"You were so wasted that you don't even remember what happened last night?"

Hebrew shook his head, "I remember I had a debate with Ms Lennon and then I went to a bar and drank way too much than I can."

"Ms Lennon?" Eric raised one eyebrow, a smirk plastered on her face.

"You even got a new character in your life, when I was absent?" Eric questioned.

"Oh! She is just someone not that important." Hebrew replied and suddenly the main door of his apartment opened.

"Mr Hebrew!"

"And here she comes..." Hebrew mumbled to Eric as he stood up and turned towards Jessica.

"I guess we should talk-" she stopped middle way and saw Eric, smirking and looking at her.

The mug of coffee in his hands now. He slightly rose it up to greet her with his one raised eyebrow.

"Um..." Jessica smiled awkwardly.

She looked back at Hebrew but was surprised that he was looking at her too, not glaring just simply, normally looking.

"I'm sorry if I have disturbed-" she said and was about I leave when Eric interrupted.

"No no, it's absolutely fine." He stood up.

"After all, I had never thought that Hebrew will be with anyone after Eva." Hebrew glared at Eric while Eric elbowed him as he continued.

His cheesy smile made Hebrew go insane with anger.

"Sorry but- Eva who?" She frowned.

Hebrew sighed. Eric looked at Jessica with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh! He didn't tell you yet? Then I shouldn't too."

He further looked at Hebrew, "But my pal, let me advise you, you don't make relationships on secrets." He patted his shoulder and left the house.

Hebrew shook his head, sighed, and looked down. While Jessica looked at Hebrew, totally confused. "Relationship? Who was he? And what was he talking about?"

"Ms Lennon, it would be better and if you tell me your purpose of the visit..." His voice was calm and bored.

"Umm...yeah...I just wanted to say... let's investigate, Mr Winchester."

Hebrew looked at her, frowning, "How come you-"

"I know I know...I...thought all night, and I concluded that...we should investigate everyone who seems suspicious. We can't let our personal opinions judge a case, can we?"

Hebrew hesitated but eventually nodded slightly. He took in a deep breath "Then let's go."

As they came out, Eric, who was leaning on the staircase, stood upright.

"Going?" He frowned, slightly disappointed.

"On a date?" He looked at Hebrew

Hebrew rolled eyes, "It's getting late..." He exclaimed and pulled Jessica together with him.

"Ouch!" She winced as Hebrew caught her wrist.

Her heels clattered on the floor as she tried matching Hebrew's pace.

"It was nice meeting you, Jessica!" He bowed slightly and so did Jessica as she turned to him, an awkward smile plastered on her lips.

As they left, Eric shook his head and laughed, but after a second his face grew serious and the smile faded away. He inhaled and exhaled deep breaths and looked at the stairs from which Hebrew descended just now, "Why are you hiding things from me?"

~~~~~~
She looked at herself in the mirror, her reflection laughed on her now making her go even crazier.
Tears rolled out of her eyes. Her life was not hers anymore...
Others controlled it; She existed as to protect others. Her life had become more of other than it was of hers, and she regrets it.
Looking at her reflection, a sudden rage arose inside her and everything kept on the dressing table was on the floor in the next moment. The perfume bottles cracked, the makeup kit shattered. She banged her fists on the mirror until it broke down into million pieces.
A corner of her room became a mess suddenly. She pushed her mirror down and it made a loud crashing sound. She knelt, her hair lying on her shoulder and face. Her eyes darkened because of the eye makeup which was smudged by her tears.
She wailed and screamed out loud. She can't bear this any more. Her mind was flustered, not able to think of anything.
While she was at her worse, the door of her room opened, "Eva darling...you making me the villain if you act like this."
The boss came walking into the room calmly, as if, well aware of situations. Wearing his mask, only his eyes visible.
Eva's wailing became silent shudders. She wasn't allowed to cry in front of him. Her shoulders jerked, her hands lying on the floor, supporting her, were bleeding.
The boss knelt beside her, tugged her hair behind her ear calmly.
"This...wasn't how I expected the life with you, Eva..." His voice was deep and calm.
Eva kept looking down, tears dropping one by one in the pool of blood. In the next moment, one man in a black suit brought a first aid kit.
"Sir..." He handed it out.
The boss sighed. Keeping the box aside, he held Eva by her shoulders. Leading her towards the bed, he made her sit. He tugged her hair again behind her ears.
"This entire palace, I made for you. You remember what dreams we saw when we entered this house?"
Eva didn't utter a single word. What would she even say? She knew she was at fault. She couldn't yell at him, she couldn't fight with him. It was her decision, too.
"Darling I never wanted to be violent with you, but...why did you come in front of the camera when I was there, You made me do it, EVA!" He yelled out her name making her flinch.
She looked up at him; he took in a deep breath. "Lemme first take care of your hands."
He took her bleeding hands in his.
Cleaning it off while she hissed. He bandaged it. The silence which was in the atmosphere was killing Eva.
Was he really calm? Or was this a silence before a catastrophe? She didn't know.
She kept sniffing her runny nose and kept looking at him, whose focus was just on her wounded hands.
He patted the back of her hand after he was done and looked at her. "My men have seen Eric around, check every place you can."
He stood up, Eva' eyes following him. He walked up to the door and stopped. Turning towards her, he said, "And make sure you check that detective's house. He seems suspicious."
The door closed, and Eva kept looking at it.
"Why did he come here? He knows it's dangerous..." she mumbled, her eyes showing worries for him...
