Hey everyone! So Borderlines was technically supposed to end right here and I would be writing the epilogue right now, but then I figured: Why not take the most beloved character and kill him? I'm so nice, aren't I? Trust me, it's killing me as much as it's killing you. The original ending was a glimpse into everyone's future Willow, Sean, Nathan, Leslie, Claus, and of course Fawn and Travis's. However; I came up with an alternative ending, hence Part Two. The ending was short enough in the beginning I wasn't going to make another book, but I've expanded the plot so that there will be a sequel(It will not be the length of Borderlines). I really hope you will all be pleased with this ending and forgive me for cutting Travis's life so short.

The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. This two wheeled mare, of iron and steel, was my sole means of transportation for almost 5 years. Rain, sleet, snow, or hundred degree heat, it didn't matter, I was in the saddle. We went all over this side of the Mississippi together. To places long forgotten by progress or filled to their capacity with humanity. Interesting word humanity, it means all off human kind in one definition, generosity and compassion in another. How often these two definitions are at bitter odds with the other, is something to be seen. These words are a mash up. Tales of the road. The people I met, stories I listened to, and the loves I saw grow, all find themselves here, mixed within these pages. From Maine to Mobile and all the places in between, where people still, somehow, cling on to the good fight. The only fight worth fighting.
