《Super Realm》The Dying Girl

Since this was a renowned hospital there were also a handful of influential figures present. And it didn't take long until one spoke up as he was bashed away by one of the men in black. "Hey, do you not know who I am? I am the CEO of-"
The complaint was cut of midsentence by the man in black. "Even if you were the president of Guilin, we wouldn't care. In front of the world renown Prof. Dr. Goo Se, you are nothing but dirt."
"Uhrg… 'the' prof. doctor Goo Se, from the West China Hospital. I am deeply sorry. I didn't mean to offend such a great figure. "
As the man shakily bowed down deeply, a clean to the cut, 60-year-old man in a white coat walked in.
The tense atmosphere agitated Luo Si sparing him a glance out of habit. Seeing nothing but the joy of humiliating others in the old man's eyes, disappointed her.
The VIP was followed by a dark-skinned woman in a short white secretary uniform.
'Hmm.' The woman of African origin had attracted the observer's attention a little more when she took a look at the footing.
Many would not believe if Hong Luo Si told them that this orderly and innocent looking girl could probably hold her own against one of these bodyguards,
A bodyguard blocked her sight. Seeing the girl in oversized clothes and sun-hat unmoved he was glad to get things on a physical level.
The disappointed look fanned the flames some more he pushed her. "Hey, you! Make place for the important people. Insignificant people like you should feel honored in the presents of Dr. Goo Se"
Luo Si only tilting her head at him. Insignificant? This rouge had no idea what she considered insignificant.
"Lowly mortal curb your arrogance. Else you will keep your ancestors some company not far from here." Luo SI replied silent but clear to the ear. On her bloody way she had passed by a graveyard. The only place she had taken a short break on. It had been the resting place of her grandmother she would occasionally visit.
The guard removed his hand in a moment of hesitation. He didn't know whether it was from the nonchalant threat or the bloodlust spreading from this innocent looking girl but his warrior instincts were shacking.
The dark-skinned secretary took notice of her colleague's odd behavior.

She was somewhat shocked seeing the bodyguard root in place.
"Hey, Rodrigues. Don't just stand there. Mr. Goo Se needs your safety." She snarled, before catching up to her boss.
"Ah… Yes of course." The suited warrior gathered himself up.
In the meantime, Prof. Dr. Goo Se had already moved towards the next tract, ignorantly bathing in the senior doctor's praises. He didn't take notice of anything else around him.
Hong Luo Si's interest was picked as she heard the chief doctor talk. Saying that only Dr. Goo Se could do the miracle of saving a girl. Having heard about it from grandma An she got curious herself and vanished into the crowed that clustered behind the bodyguards.
A dozen minutes after the VIP entered through a bluish glowing doorway, he exited. Ostensibly in deep thought.
"Mr. and Misses Qi, we should discuss this somewhere else." He invited the patient's parents into the next room together with the glued-on doctors.
Being the last in line only the dark-skinned woman noticed a miscellaneous on the patience door.
Taking their place, Hong Luo Si was standing in front of a transparent tube. Inside the tube was a, thin to the bone, unconscious girl, floating inside a blueish glowing liquid. Cables, leading to complicated machineries, entwined her like strings on a puppet.
A name plate was hanging on one of the machines, 'Qi Xiao'. Luo Si found it funny. 'Ironic.'
Luo Si looked at the flickering displays, not knowing what these instruments did or what they displayed. That didn't hinder. Even a bumpkin like her could see, that the girl was on the verge of dying.
She took a glance at the heart measuring display. One of the few things she recognized and could make sense off.
The number 30 was constantly blinking and beeping, in a bright red next to the letter's bpm.
"Interesting." A single word resounded monotonously.
Hong Luo Si did not share any pity for the girl. There was indeed a way to cure the girl in sight. That she knew of.
However, why should she care.
The world was unfair. The strong lived, while the weak died.
People born with different treatment was unfair. She could imagine the amount of money spent just to keep the dying girl alive. If Luo Si had been in her position, she would not have survived a single day. Her parents would have let her die a peasant's death rather than toss a coin to the Witcher. Knowing him for his greed made it a miracle her father even cared enough for Granny An.

Destiny was unfair. Money was the best way to prolong someone's life. And yet, nobody on earth could escape the law of casualty forever.
What was the use of pity, when life was already different from the start? Did the rich pity you for being poor? Did the Strong pity you for being weak? Did god pity you for being unable to change your destiny?
her answer to these questions was the apocalyptic ascension of the dragon. Even the strongest human from earth, the holy sword sage John Smith was pulverized. Like an ant standing before god.
Luo Si looked back at the girl. "Tell me, why should I change your inevitable fate?" It was a rhetorical question without doubt, knowing she would not receive an answer.
She turned around, leaving at the expected silence. A thin disrupt in the rhythmic beeping made her stop though. In surprise her eyes fell back at the floating girl. The next moment would have been unthinkable for any person who knew Qi Xiao's condition. It looked like nothing happened, but Luo Si detected the small glimpse of her eyelids parting.
The past enveloped Luo Si on contact.
It had happened shortly after she ascended to the point of never returning. A war between civilizations broke out and Luo Si and her master 'Wise Emperor Demon Sacrifice' had entered the center of battle. In a matter of carelessness, she had been ambushed. In order to save her, her master paid the price. She had killed the evildoer in a state of rage, before escaping with her master.
When her master was on his last breath, he told her, "don't cry little Luo. Death is a natural part of life."
"But master, if I hadn't done this stupid mistake, you wouldn't… you wouldn't- "
"Shh… cough* Luo Si, it is okay. Mistakes are unavoidable on our path. Even I did things I am not proud of. But we cannot live in fear with them, we need to accept and learn from our mistakes, so we can embark on a path towards a better tomorrow." With his remaining strength he took out a strange seed and shoved it into Hong Luo Si's mouth.
"This seed is the last remains of my village, it has been passed on from generation to generation. It was actually prepared for someone else, but... but some things are just not meant to be. It shall now be in your care." Wise Emperor Demon Sacrifice's eyes lost their light afterwards.
'For a better tomorrow.' The drive of every being. The reason the poor and weak worked to survive. The motivation she worked so hard for, even when she kept on falling. The very foundation of her life before she experienced today's event in her past life.
It was not the phrase perse that held a meaning, but the light inside the eyes that countered the fate of the weak. It was a rarity on earth to find individuals that had this resolution. And yet surprisingly, a girl on the verge of death had the exact same eyes as her master.
Being in deep process of contemplating, Luo Si did not take note of the door opening and the retired people's return.
"As I was saying, the illness has already passed the stage of making things irreversible. At this point, we would do her a favor by putting her to eternal rest. Mr. Qi, a concerning father like yourself surely only want the best for your daughter." Goo Ses' melodramatic voice haled through the room.
For him this was already a closed case. The patient's life dangled on a string and he did not and he did not want his reputation to fall with it.
"Hai… if that is the only option. I am sure that no other doctor would come up with a better solution." A middle-aged man sighted as he hugged his crying wife. He looked in the direction of his daughter. His vision, however, perceived not one but 2 girls. One was his daughter. The other was an unknown weirdly dressed young girl, who was staring holes in the ground.
His eyes became red, "Hey, who let this brat in? Get away from my daughter! If you touched anything in this room, I will make you regret it for the rest of your life!"
Luo Si opened her eyes and looked up. "Alright, I have decided."
