《Super Realm》Grandma An

"Hi grandma it's me Luo Si, mind if I use your bathroom." Luo SI dashed into room 407 and greeted her grandma briefly.
"Little Luo is that you? You sound so different." A tiered female voice traveled in room 407.
"It's just one of those days, you know. By the way, do you have any spare-clothes, mine are a bit bloody?"
"Oh child, you know I am already out of that age. Take a look in the closet. I might pick the wrong trend since as blind as I am."
"No grandma, you are not blind. The world is blind and those killers in white robes."
After performing first aid on herself Luo Si came out of the bathroom with a bandaged head. "Like seriously, what do we pay this hospital for? Killing its patients? Hope is not lost grandma. I will bring you out of this hellish place."
"My big girl. I don't remember you ever talking like this. This is very unlike you." Grandma Hong was resting in bed, tracking her granddaughters position relying on her ears.
With her vision going worse with age grandma An had learned to identify a person based on their footsteps, pace and smell. However, when Luo Si moved in her field of perception, her steps vastly differed from her normal steps. It belonged more to someone who didn't put the world around her in her eyes.
"It's a nightmare, like I said. I will leave my belongings here for now. The hat looks nice, can I borrow it?" Luo Si had already put on a new oversized shirt and pants. tightened both with another bandage she was good to go.
"Just take it, just take it. That thing is gathering dust anyway. Not like I am trying to impress anyone with it, hell even if I wanted to, I would probably die before reaching their room from exhaustion."
"So," Luo Si had finished her dressing and planted herself on an empty chair next to An Hong's bed. "Tell me what has this mortal world been through these past few days?"

For her, this present had happened a century ago. In the time of information, it was an obligation to everyone to inquire about the trend, girls in particular.
"This mortal world? Little Lou is that the new… what do they call it… slang? And you are asking your blind granny about what's going on in the world. Hah. And here I think I have been through all. Well, there is actually something new.
"There had been a loud commotion the past few days. Apparently, a young girl had been transferred to the hospital. From the staffs whispering it does not look good. How tragic.
"Come, give me your hand. Maybe I can distract my thoughts by guessing what you have been up to lately. You should have finished your school by now. Your father told me you were going to enroll in a business university. And? Did they already admit you?"
Luo Si put her hand on An Hong's. "Business school?" Faint memories resurfaced. She had indeed enrolled into business. Although, she had dropped out eventually, dedicating her life to the new. A future every youngster would strive towards.
SR: It was not the original name, or rather it had no real name, but everybody who was part of it called it SR, Super Realm. A 'game' out of this world.
"Indeed." Lou Si only now realized that as a woman of modern times it had become a mandatory for both genders to attend further education. "I change my mind."
"Good, good. At least you are aware of yourself. You are smart and hardworking, but that is only one side of the business coin. The other, and most important side is actual society. Those who lack social skill and influential connections will be eaten. Look at your father. He embarked on that road and got eaten up. I don't want to lose my big girl as well. Just promise me you study well."
Luo Si rolled her eyes and gave in. "If it is your wish."

"You saying that makes me feel at ease. And don't roll your eyes, I might be blind, but I can still percept your eyerolls. Tell me where does your heart lie? Or maybe you want to talk about Liuxian." Granny An was fondling with her granddaughters' hand, until she mentioned Liuxian Ran.
Luo Si's hand became hard like steel for a second and leaked killing intent. The measurement instruments above An Hong's head started to ring and An Hong grabbed towards her chest.
"Ah… my apology. I think talking about him does more harm than good." Luo Si instantly retracted her emotional outburst. It was rather difficult to curb her feelings today, without full control over herself.
"As for studying… I think I will enroll in sports."
Her grandmother could only nod, after the instruments calmed down. Granny Hong took a deep breath. She had a very hard time contemplating her granddaughter. Her big girl had never been like this and rather kind and warm.
Yet today, her granddaughter was opposite from the usual, as if heaven and earth swapped places. Her behavior and language had also lost their human like restrictions. However, all this was nothing compared to her heart and soul.
When Granny An felt her hand, the hand was the same that belonged to the person she had in memories, as for the soul that moved the body. The shy and warm heart was gone, replaced by the embodiment of vengeance. Her previous boyfriends name had become something like a trigger to release this very existence; drowning its entire surroundings in hatred and fiendishness.
"Well, you have convinced me. I never liked that boy. As for that hatred in yourself, promise me to find peace with it. Nobody should live in hatred. Socialize yourself some more. Many together are stronger than one alone."
Hong Luo Si was silent for a moment. She looked out of the window, choosing her words wisely. "Granny An, can god could shoulder this burden?"
"God?" An Hong was puzzled and tired out from the conversation. "Of course, my big girl. God can do anything; he is almighty after all."
Luo Si heaved a deep sight, pulling her granny's hand towards her. "That's good. …An An, there will be great changes in the future. Many fascinating and many more unthinkable marvels will appear. What I am saying might sound childish and unimaginable. But I want you to know."
She came closer to her grandmothers' ear, hearing a deep and steady breathing. "Gods will walk among us."
Luo Si felt the grip of the others hand loosening. With a glance she confirmed that An Hong had fallen asleep from exhaustion. After talking off her heart Luo Si let go of the wrinkled hand and walked back the way she came from.
Involuntarily, she halted in front of the main exit. The doorway blocked.
It was blocked by two black and white limousines.
What was the meaning of this?
Loudspeakers echoed in the hallway, "Attention, please step aside to clear the hallway. Step aside to clear the hallway."
The car doors opened and 6 men in black suits dashed out of them. Pushing civilians aside, they forcefully opened up a pathway. One could see a trace of joy on the bodyguards' face, clearly enjoying his task.
On the other side doctors were rushing to the entrance, gathering together like soldiers, arranging themselves to welcome the general with prideful smirks all over their faces. Somehow they did not care about the patients and visitors being pushed around. On the contrary, the doctors seemed to have anticipated this in accordance to the arrived VIP was thousands of times more important than any other person present.
