《The Overlord is running out of Internet Data》The Kiss gone Wrong

Alex was still in the process of accepting his new reality.
He was still figuring out the Abyss eater that looked like two human mouths merged with his palms.
‘What the heck is that bird saying? Summoned to another world?’, Alex wondered as he glanced at his hands.
There were two human-like mouths emerged upon his palms. It was very much alive when he tried to touch it. Apparently, these mouths are called as Abyss Eater as per the information by the talking raven. There were inscriptions of black marking on Alex hand which is said to keep those mouths under control.
‘I don’t know why is there a mouth’s stuck on my hand or how I end up in the nowhere of a desert with a talking chuunibyou crow. I even pinched myself to check if its a dream but the pain felt very much real. So this couldn’t be a dream.’
Than Alex looked around his surroundings than his eyes again fell on the talking raven sitting on a rock, nearby. It was nonchalantly sitting there as it kept a constant gaze on Alex from a distance.
Their eyes meet and they stared a stare off. Alex glared at the bird intensely while the bird looked back at him with a cold stare.
After a few minutes of staring race, the bird asked,
“What’s with all the glaring? If you have something to say, out with it already.”
Alex continued to stare at the bird without saying a word as he thought,
‘The last time I remember that I resigned from the bank and headed to my apartment. Then back when I was heading the road, I was crossing the road. Just when I heard loud honking and a big speeding truck headed my direction, after that everything was blank and hazy. So am I dead? Have I really been transmigrated to another world?'

“Alright so tell me why did you summon me here?”, asked Alex.
“Oh, I wasn’t the one to summon you. You were actually summoned here by the orders of Nudar, the god of the underworld.", it then let out a sigh, "It's a long story but lemme tell you the shorter version. You were supposed to be joining the mighty Nudar's army in his big rebellion against the gods. That was until you lost your control and devoured him and his entire army with your Abyss Eater. And with that little stunt has led chaos on all three realms.”, answered the birdie as it took a sigh.
“I have no clue what you’re talking about.”, replied Alex as he looked puzzled.
“Lord Luminescence shall explain you in greater detail, the first thing we need to do is head to our base.”, said the birdie.
“Hey doesn’t this hand look similar to Deidara from Naruto?”, asked Alex excitedly.
“Deidara? What’s that?”, asked the confused raven.
“You kidding me? Deidara was one of the Akatsuki badasses from the manga Naruto, the world best mainstream manga of all time! You don’t even know that? You are a chuunibyou crow, you should know that at least.”, said Alex with a disappointed tone.
Deidara was a fictional character based on a popular manga called Naruto. He also had two mouths on the palm of his hands where he could infuse chakra to create explosive clay.
It’s not like everyone knows this, only a people who watch/reads anime/manga would have known. So, of course, a talking bird in another world would definitely won’t be informed about this.
“Stop wasting time! We need to get moving from this place. We have to head south where our ride is waiting. It shall take straight to our base to meet you with Lord Luminescence. You’re last week antic’s have caused quite a turmoil in the three realms. Your life is in danger! So be thankful for the kindness Lord Luminescence.” scowled the bird, but it seemed Alex wasn't paying any heed, “Hey! This is some crucial information, what are you doing!?”

Alex was busy doing something with a wide grin on his face,
“Check this out!”, cried out Alex, “They’re smooching. Hahaha!”
He joined both of his palms and the two mouths on his palm touched each other which looked like as if it were doing a liplock. It was a very strange sight and somehow Alex found it funny.
But the bird was terrified and suddenly flew upwards away from Alex,
“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!”
“A french kiss? I don’t know but it's hilarious, right?” asked Alex as he laughed it off.
Suddenly a strange reaction started to happen. The two mouths opened their jaws wide opened and strange gust of wind started to exit from their mouth.
Alex was puzzled with these strange events,
"What's going on? I can't pull my hands apart, it's as if they are stuck!"
Then soon a black like a particle emerged out of the two mouths and started to gather in between the space of Alex's two hands. The dark energy looked like smoke but pitch black in color. Once it gathered around between his two hands, it started to create a shape like a ball.
As soon as it took a shape of the ball the gust of wind changed direction. Instead of the wind which was blowing away was now getting sucked within the sphere itself.
"Pull your hands apart! Come on, boy! You can do it." cried out the raven flying above Alex in a distant.
Alex tried to move his hands but it seemed his both hands were stuck to the black ball,
"What is going on! What's happening?! This..."
The black ball of energy started to grow and even Alex hands started to engulf in the dark energy.
Soon the dark energy grew bigger and bigger as it swallowed Alex and the entire surroundings. It looked like a massive ball of dark energy swirling within sucking all the air, rocks and everything it could take in. The ball of dark energy grew almost three storey building tall. But soon it stopped and it started to shrink.
The bird flew high in the sky as it watched in a distance.
But soon, the black sphere disappeared.
In its place was Alex who was sitting in a big crater in the center.
"What just happened?" asked puzzled Alex as he sat in the center of the crater.
The dead tree, as well as the ground itself, had been sucked in by the black ball of energy. Everything that black energy touched was sucked within and vanished except for Alex.
Alex grabbed his head in shock,
"My head feels wobbly. I felt like I had a ride on a rollercoaster or something.", but as soon he touched his head the mouth on his hand started to munch on his hair, "Ow-ow! You little shits! Stop eating my hair!"

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

A world without words — is a dull one. Words brought about communication. It brought forth harmony and conflict. For a world to exist without it, it would bring about melancholy. There would be no noise. Zachary Ashworth aspires to be a brilliant author one day. However, one problem lies ahead of him. After years of desiring nothing but to shun out people and their noise, he can no longer see the world, for it’s only colorless. "A wish for faint light. A wish for greater blight. By the by, do you crave desire?" Said the faceless man hanging from the ceiling. This was a story for a wonderland. Cover and Art Illustrated by Hayato Noda
