Hello,I hope you guys are enjoying the story, I will try my hardest to make the story interesting.
So if you have any tips, please do share!
------------------------------------------------
The room emitted a rustic feel and was very sparse, the furniture in the room was simple, a wooden table with a chair next to the window and a small mirror on top of a counter. The room also gave out a fragrance of sandalwood. In the middle of the room, was a wooden crib with an infant laid inside. The child was very cute, it's chubby cheeks were soft and supple and on its head was a tuft of sliky black hair. The child slept peacefully inside the crib, above it were three floating and transparent figures. Each of them had different levels of disdainful expressions.
Scratching her chin as she evaluated the child, one of the figures exclaimed,
"That is one ugly fat maggot." (Eva)
Eli just narrowed her eyes and sneered icily,
"It looks more worse than a naked mole rat." (Eli)
"....." (Celio)
Not wanting to give comment, Celio stayed silent.
The door creaked open to reveal an old man with a long white beard, followed by a large crowd of people walked in just as the trio were judging the baby.
"Was this the child you spoke of?"
The old man spoke as he observed the child laid motionless in the crib.
"Yes Master Feng, Young master is strange,he never cries and his temperature keeps changing when we examine him. Once hot, then the next hour his body is cold..Do you think he is possessed by an evil spirit?"
The female servant behind the old man bowed and explained the situation quickly, her voice turning fearful as she spoke the last sentence.

"Feng? What kind of pussy name is that?" (Eva)
"Shut up.You're distracting me with your low intelligence." (Eli)
"Suck my dick!" (Eva)
"You don't even have on-" (Celio)
The conversation was interrupted by a loud slam and a shout coming from the wooden door, which was unfortunately broken into many pieces by the impact.
"Nonsense! How dare a mere servant speak of my child this way!"
The booming voice came from a tall man, which quickly shut the servant girl up. The man appeared to be around 20 to 23 years old and adorned with a handsome but menacing face. He wore a long blue traditional Chinese robe with a jade hairpin on his head, letting down a long black ponytail that reached his waist. His eyes accompanied by his fierce gaze, gave an oppressive feeling, making anyone who would dare stare at his face bow their heads.
"Calm down Master Huo Jin, we will not know his condition until I check." (Master Feng)
Master Feng spoke, he did not want Master Huo Jin to throw a fuss, if he did, the poor servant girl will end up lying 6 feet underground the next day. Master Feng was a medical doctor, he was one of the best in the whole Azura continent, having him here, meant that Huo Jin was no small figure as well.
"Hmph!" (Huo Jin)
Master Huo Jin gave a 'harumph' and went over to the crib to see the child laying inside, his expression starting to turn mellow.
Master Feng reached into the crib, gently taking in the small infant's hand into his large hands, and checked his pulse.
"Hm?!" (Master Feng)
"W-What is it Master Feng?!" (Huo Jin)
Huo Jin had a face of panic when Master Feng uttered suddenly.

Master Feng then proceeded to check the child's neck, chest and forehead...and announced with an elated cry.
"This child..has high elemental affinities!" (Master Feng)
The room suddenly had loud gasps and whispering, while Huo Jin was rendered speechless.
"Holy shit, we are possessing a main wuxia protagonist?" (Eva)
"Does that mean we have to change our names?" (Celio)
"How about bèndàn for you?" (Eva)
"Shush already!" (Eli)
The trio abruptly kept quiet, the old man was about to say something else as well.
"But his soul is unstable, it may evaporate and die off if his body condition does not improve." (Master Feng)
Another shocker came out of Master Feng's mouth, His diagnosis was exactly letting one's hope up and then die.
The room was filled with noise, but right now the most concerning subject was Huo Jin, he looked as if he was on the verge of collasping.
-------------
Notes:
bèndàn means idiot in chinese.

Midara: Requiem
"When the alternative is extinction, all acts, no matter how heinous, are permitted." The story of a little necromancer who only wants to play with abominations against all that is holy dollies and her horsey, Mister Clackybones. Welcome to the novelization of one script I designed for a video game setting I call Midara (I selected the name of a genus of moths for symbolism purposes, not to be confused with anything else). Once upon a time, I dreamed of the setting being the next Final Fantasy. Long story short: Nope. Requiem itself is meant to be an Open-World RPG which adapts to the choices of the player. This is just one of many, many paths that one might follow in Requiem's gameplay, if it ever becomes a game.

In Another World with Doraemon's 4D Pocket
Cary found himself awoken in a foreign land with what he thought was a nondescript white pouch. Reaching into the white pouch, he was able to pull out an assortment of gadgets that he recognized to be from his favorite childhood show, Doraemon. With the thousands of mischievous, powerful gadgets inside the 4D pocket, Cary will take on this new world by storm! Something ridiculous I will write purely for fun alongside my main story Giantslayer As a disclaimer, I may nerf some of the most broken gadgets or even not use them at all. Doraemon was insane for a children manga (e.g. Doraemon canonically has a nuclear bomb inside his 4D pocket), some of the gadgets have the potential to end this story in one chapter. The most important factor is fun so anything that completely breaks the story might not be mentioned at all (or we will pretend they do not exist in the 4D pocket). We may find uses for those broken gadgets in the future, though. I am not particularly good at writing comedy. There will of course be funny moments (at least I hope they are funny) but everyone in this story will actually behave in a realistic(?) and serious manner. I want the serious world to contrast with some of the wacky gadgets that are available.

Wolf's Oath Book 1: Oath Sworn

But the boy Aralt once knew is gone. In his place is a reckless, traumatized teen who can light the sky on fire. The more they get reacquainted, the less Aralt likes him—and the feeling is mutual. As revenge against a common enemy boils in his blood, Aralt struggles to do his oath-sworn duty and secure sanctuary for the heir-apparent to a mystical dynasty. But instead of safety, every step brings them closer to danger: sky pirates, cannibals, and a relentless soulless scourge unleashed by their enemy are all intent on killing Lian—or worse. Death, Aralt realizes, might be the greater mercy. ---------------------------------------------------------- What to Expect: Character-driven Plot Novel Pacing (which I accept isn't typical for serials) Elaborate Worldbuilding (you gotta pay attention) Soul-bonded Swords Sentient Wolves Longish Chapters What Not to Expect: Litrpg (sorry!) Harem (not sorry!) Magic System Short Chapters Dancing Bears (at least so far) Seriously, this is a second-world low fantasy/science-fantasy featuring a strong, but flawed male protagonist, a cheeky teenage boy that’s driving him crazy, a wee bit o’ Scots flavor, and a whole lot of culture clashing. I’m preparing to relaunch this story on Kindle once the second and third books are ready and I’d love some feedback as I move through those revisions. I'm serious about the feedback. All comments are welcome. I'll name a characters after you. And kill them, if you want. :) Oh, did I mention soulless assassins and cannibals? Yeah, Aralt’s day is not getting any better. cover image by brosedesignz
