Clan Name: (mother) Haruno/春野 (means "spring field")

History: Not a Ninja clan but a known family made renowned after the Fourth Great Ninja War by Sakura Haruno (Fumino's second cousin). The family once had a powerful Kekkei Genkai that had been lost throughout the ages but some part of it was revived in Fumino from a merging with the Warai's clan Floral Style.

Clan Name: (father) Warai/笑い (means "laughter")

History: A prominent Ninja clan, better known throughout the Land of Fire than the Leaf exclusively. They were proven to be a turning point during the Second and Third Great Ninja Wars and were even the ones to bring about the peace treaty along with the Third Hokage during the Third War (the Warai, in particular, being Hikaru Warai). The clan's nindo that they stand by is: "The joy of the heart is shinobi's strength." Their signature Kekkei Genkai, called Floral Style, has several derivations and different styles, with the Namaki clan, an off-branch of the Warai, possessing the Vine Style technique which is a variation of Floral Style. Fumino hails from the main branch.

In my opinion, every classroom needs the popular-super-nice-super-pretty girl and Fumino fits that bill. Don't worry, though, of course, like a real person, that's not all there is to her. As far as female characters go, she's probably one of my favourites 'cos she's fun to draw and I appreciate her character.
