"it's time"
Mugha stood up and headed to the outside. Shanti and the elder also prepared to leave.
"-fuuh- the sky is clear tonight... the stars are also shining brightly..." She looked up
A visible cold air came out from her mouth when she exhaled. The air was quite cold that night.
"is this a good sign? i wonder...."
She went out and headed to the plaza. Most of the villager already gathered there. They were ready for the next part of earthly feasting festival.
The twenty fighters gathered at the front. Now they would say what their wish was and the villager would respond to it.
The elder opened it with his speech.
"this is the true purpose of earthly feasting festival! there's no a single regret that is allowed remaining in our fighters soul!! by the guidance of our beast god ROGNIR!! may we have the capability to make that happens!!"
The villagers nodded. Now, it's their duty to make it success.
The rule was simple. The fighter would call the name of the person who would fulfill their wish then the person would say their answer.
If they said no, the fighter would call another name that they desired. Of course, rejection was a very rare case in the earthly feasting festival.... according to the old records about this ritual.
Then what if their wish didn't include any person? they could just simply say what they wanted instead.
"then, without further ado, let's begin" The elder shouted
The first fighter came foward and called one name.
"Phyna!"
The woman with short red hair came foward responding to his call.
She approached the fighter and they talked. Most of the people couldn't hear them because they whispered to each other.
Phyna nodded and tried to think about his wish. After few minutes, she announced her answer.

"in the name of our beast god ROGNIR, I'll fullfil his wish!"
Shortly after that, they left the plaza and headed to the Phyna's house. One fighter's wish was granted. Nineteen wishes remained.
One by one, the remaining fighters called a name to fulfill their wish. Nineteen wishes were granted without any rejection until one wish remained.
Mugha stood there alone. He was the last fighter who needed to call a name for fulfilling his wish.
"I'm really proud with our people. None of them was rejecting our fighters wishes.. Mugha, you're the last" The elder looked at his son
"who will you call?"
Mugha was silent for a while. He looked at the villagers. He took his time before he finally opened his mouth.
".....Shanti.."
Shanti's ears lifted up and she showed a surprised expression. Just when she wanted to come foward, Mugha called another name.
"and... father... I mean, the elder of Ohre tribe"
The elder approached him and followed by Shanti. They were right in front of him now.
"so, what's your wish? Mugha, the leader of our fighters!"
"I want to spend this night... with both of you.."
Both of them accepted his wish without any hesitation.
"in the name of our beast god ROGNIR, we will fulfill his wish" They nodded
That closed the second part of earthly feasting festival.
"so, what do you have in mind? to spend this night?" Shanti asked
"for now... I want to relax at shrine"
"well, let's not waste any time then" The elder walked first
"I'll take some fried fish and vegetables for our snacks"
"good idea Shanti" Mugha nodded
They passed the bamboo trees and sat near the shrine. It's very calm and relaxing that night. Moonlight softly shone at their place and some insects sounds were also accompanying them.

"-fuuh- so here it is...."
"I still hope.... a miracle will happen..." The elder sighed
"our beast god already gave us this solution father... even our savior will come here"
"with our twenty fighter souls as its cost"
"....that is a very reasonable price father. We talk about our savior here.. he will save us.. even this world.."
"... I won't ruin our time by discussing that Mugha. Let's focus on your wish"
"sure father, after Shanti get here"
After few minutes, Shanti arrived with two medium bowls on her hand.
She sat beside them and opened the bowls. They could see brown fried fish and golden fried vegetables inside of them.
"now, we can take our time and have a nice conversation" She looked at Mugha
"... yes. Finally, i can tell it... "
"what do you mean...."
Mugha lifted his head and closed his eyes. The elder and Shanti could see tears flowing down on his cheek.
"Mugha....."
"please, give me a moment...."
Shanti held his hand and she could that his hand was trembling a little.
This would be a short and long night at the same time.

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
