"....seems you don't understand what i've said" Chillyd sheathed his sword
Khall was really alerted and took his stance. How couldn't he feel this man's presence? was he really not capable as a Half-beast?
"i simply can ask your other friends...."
He turned around and stared at Khall.
"that i captured..." He smiled
Khall stood up and gave this straight face.
"that would be a lie"
"hoo...turned out, you can understand my words"
Chillyd approached him. He's not showing any particular expression on his face, only a calm looks staring at him.
"and why would i lie to you monster?"
"...they won't be captured so easily"
"I've never mentioned something like easy...tho it's not that hard"
-drap drap-
"who's there?!"
Some soldiers came to their direction. Seemed their conversation was noticed by them.
"Sir Chillyd!"
They saluted when they saw him. Chillyd gave his instruction to them.
"bring this monster to our base. Gather the other monsters as well"
"yes sir!"
That soldier raised his sword and watched Khall's movements very carefully. Chillyd looked at him.
"do you want to cooperate with us? or want to resist?"
".... I'll follow you"
Khall knew very well that he couldn't fight his way through this situation, especially with Chillyd in that place. Their difference of power was way too much.
"you've heard that monster. No need to raise your sword"
"o...ok sir"
Chillyd went first and then followed by the soldiers and Khall. They passed some soldier's tent before finally he could see his friends...tied up with a dark circle surrounding them.
'they are really captured.....this is bad"
Three of his friends tried to struggle but it's no use. That dark circle was [DISAPPROVAL] and clearly those soldiers wouldn't let them to use their blessings.
"Here. Let's start our discussion" Chillyd raised his hand
The soldiers behind him nodded and took some steps to the back. Meanwhile Khall stood there, in front of his friends. Now, the real horror would begin.
One of the Half-beast stared at him with a confusion in his looks.
"What's happening here Khall? Why are you coming with this human?"
"-krrrr- why we couldn't use our beast mode or blessing…"
"Khall!! Kill that human and release us! Or call Mugha! Hurry!"
The situation suddenly became quite out of control because of his presence there. Chillyd observed it with a satisfied look on his face.
"Keep calm everyone…. i was caught too.."

Of course his answer wasn't very convincing for them, and they started to show their anger towards him.
"-krrrr- whatever the circumstance is…. you are not being tied right now. As the proud Half-beast from Ohre village, you should know what you need to do.."
Chillyd moved closer to the Khall's position, and talked to him.
"that's what they said. Tell me monster, what you want to do now?"
He already knew the answer, and that's what made this situation become more complicated for Khall.
"This human….. he already knew there's only one option left for me" Khall mumbled
Khall's ears were moving as a sign of his panic feeling. This was the kind of situation that normally would be handled by Mugha, not a Half-beast like him. He tried his best to not make this situation even worse.
"Ca..calm down everyone, i'm trying to release us from this place… this man only want some information from us.."
"Then what Khall? They will let us go? Seriously... they're human…. you should realize it by now"
"Beside….look around…."
Khall still didn't get what his friend was trying to say, and it made him angry.
"Look at this situation!! This is not a situation where you just want to get information from someone! Why don't you get it Khall?!"
"hm, you're right monster. This is not the situation that i want" Chillyd nooded
He took few steps forward and pointed one of his finger to the front.
[ICE LANCE I]
-zzzrrssshh-
Suddenly, cold wind gathered in front of his finger and created an sharp ice object. In a split second, it was gone and mercilessly pierced the poor Half-beast's heart.
-zruub-
"-kkkghh- from….earth to….."
-brugh-
One of his friend was killed just like that. It was exactly like the moment where Mugha slay one of the soldier back in the forest. It happened so fast, yet he fully understood what's that meant.
"Now this…is better"
Chillyd approached them and raised both of his hands.
"I don't need to explain the circumstance right? Shall we start now?"
Khall was really frustrated. He couldn't do anything, like usual, but he even couldn't call Mugha for helping them now…..that the least that he could do.
"Wh…what do you want….human…?"
He tried to suppress his emotions as hard as he could.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
