They focused to catch up with Khall who's running away with all that he got.
"how..?! humans do really exist?! why are they here?!" He was really confused
He always listened about the story of human race. A very dangerous creature that could annihilate anything in front of them. It's not about their physical or their blessings, but it's their overwhelming numbers.
"they're real.. they're real..."

The soldier who chased him was jumping and landed in front of him. He didn't think that a human could catch up with his full speed.
"our information said that you are a really fast monster. Hm, maybe that was based from our basic ability, without using skill"
"ski....skill? is that some kind of blessings?" Khall started to panic
"huh? blessing? i don't know what you're talking about but this skill is a gift from our holy mother to us, her precious children"

He aimed his sword towards him with murderous looks on his face.
"to think you attacking us first.... it really pissed me off"
"no...no, that was an accident.."
"huh, now when you're cornered, you are starting to make some excuses? pathetic monster"
"excuses? no, that was really an accident"

"good, you finally catch it up"
The other soldier arrived at their location and also pulled his sword.
"you have to pay...for every drop of my blood on my face monster!!"
He was not a fighter, of course this kind of situation making him panic. How would he handle it? should he call Mugha? or he needed to face them both alone?
"die you monster!!"

A very fast stab shredded his left shoulder skin. Burn and sting sensations could be felt from the wound. Not waiting till his panic disappeared, the other soldier already thrusted his sword towards him.

He somehow managed to dodge the attack by pushing his body to the right.
[FIRE BALL I]

"aaarggh!!!!!!" Khall screamed
He didn't know what's just happened, but he understood that this burn and pain were real. His left upper arm was giving this constant smarting feeling and made him really hard to control his breath.
"kegh... you're screaming because of that kind of pain? pathetic monster"

The soldier's sword was stabbed to his right leg. The spark and sting sensations were sent directly to his brain.
"ARRGGH!!"

The soldier pulled out his sword and made Khall's pain even more hurt than before.
"hey, I'm the one who need giving this monster a lesson!"
"no complaining, we will bring this monster to our base camp and you can continue your lesson there"
"haah, it can't be helped then" He scratched his head
Khall held his right leg with his right arm while enduring the pain on his left arm. He couldn't think straight because all of this pain filled his mind.
why? why did they attack him? he didn't do that on purpose!! that arrow was slipped from his grip....he didn't want to attack them.
"-krrrrrrrrr- it's hurt.... it's hurt...."
He's not a fighter, thus this kind of pain was really unbearable for him. Fighting and facing this kind of situation were also not a part of his daily life, and he totally didn't know how to get out from them.
"how will we bring this monster to our base?"
"how? why would you concern something like that? just do this"

He kicked Khall on his stomach. Then he continued with several kicks to his face and body.

"hah....that should do it"
"I'm the one who get hurt by this monster, and yet you are the one who keep giving it lessons"

Khall was coughing and growling on the ground. He wanted to cry, yet his man pride didn't allow him to do that.

"see? let's bring it back to sir Chillyd"
He pulled Khall's hair and dragged him as fast as he could.
That's it....he didn't care anymore. He wanted to get out from this situation, and got back to the village. He screamed as loud as he could.
"MUGHA!!! HELP ME!! THERE ARE HUMANS HERE!!"
Both of the soldiers suprised and didn't expect him to do that.

The soldier hit him really hard and showed this anger expression on his face.
"this monster...to think it will call its friends"
"let's hurry up then, it will be annoying if more monsters show up in here"
"yeah, let's do that"

Khall realized that this human was using his blessing, now his chance to escape from them became smaller.
"shan...ti..."
Just when the soldier wanted to dash and left the place, his friend pointed a direction at his left side.
"hey, there's something coming..."

That's happening really fast, and the other soldier couldn't react at all.

A body fell to the ground without its head. A Half-beast with his axe stood in front of him with his bright red hair and his muscular body.
"Mu...gha..."
Mugha stared to the human in front of him.
"Intruder? you did something terrible to my family here..."
He lifted up his axe and took his stance.
"no need any questions...you need to pay your doing with your life"

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1.
