He approached Baratraz and asked him.
"tell me sir...are you really sure they are the invader?"
"what now Chanotte? are you doubting our comrade reports?"

"this is no good. There is a doubt in your eyes. Our expedition is to anilihated this creature kingdom! we need to secure our home! do you understand that?"

"-sigh- i thought you would understand how's important this expedition... I'll leave you first. I hope you've made up your mind when we depart"
Baratraz left the room. He clearly had a different perspective with Chanotte.

He could hear the door in the upper floor closed. He stood in the middle of the room for a while. Then he looked closely to every elf in the cells.
All of them in the bad condition. Their really skinny, to the point their rib cage visible. Men and women were seperated in the different cell. Anyone could tell, every one of them was treated really bad.
He tried to talk with them. His conscience couldn't accept the fact that they were meant to harm the people.
"tell me... what's really going on here?"
One of them responded with parched voice.
"why do you care? everytime they tortured us, we always answered with the same thing"
"....i need to know the truth. This is the first time i saw your kind, they never report this to the capital"
"...do you think it will make some differences?"
"what do you mean?"
"you, human, attack us without any warning and didn't want to listen...do you think the other will be different?"
"of course! we've never thought something like this! we have our own rule to deal with the intruder!"

"and i believe that include with dealing with other races? elf like us?"
"it's.....not, but I'm sure this is not the right way to treat the prisoner or invader!!"

He didn't understand. He already saw many type of people, and these elf were totally not that kind of violent creature. His instinct as a warrior told him so.
Just when he still though about that, a sound came from the upper floor.

He stared to the door, slowly the sound came closer.

The door opened. A man came in and stood there.
"i guess you're sir Baratraz's guest? enjoy this scene. They were the creature that want to disturb our peace"
He walked and looked to the back. His right hand seemed like pulling something heavy. He stopped for mumbling.
"-kkgghh- how troublesome"

Chanotte finally could see what was actually being dragged by this man. Many strands of yellow hair tangled on his fingers. A motionless body of woman elf was lying on the floor. Her body was full of wounds and came in many different shapes.
"this...-huft- female...quite good you know? it is very sensitive to any stimulation. Their....-hup- skin is really sensitive..."
He kept dragging her into one of the cell and put her with the rest of the woman elf. After tapped his hands, he closed the cells.
"-fuuh- where was i? ah! their skin is really sensitive but.."
He moved closer to him and whispered.
"but their ears were the best.."
He smiled and tapped Chanotte's shoulder.
"hahahaha! you should try it too pals! i recommended it!"

Just when he wanted to leave the place, Chanotte called him.
"hey....."
"hm? what's wro.."

A very fast slash aimed at his head. In a split second, his head was separated from his body.
-bruugh-
A lifeless body without head fell to the ground with a fresh blood coming from it. The head was rolling for around one meter from the body.
-fuuh- He sheated his sword and splitted to the floor.
"DISGUSTING.....to think human could fall this far" His eyes were filled with hatred
He turned around and looked to all of them that are in the cells.
"wait for my signal. I'll get all of you out of here"
He walked and headed to the upper floor.
